Busy place at lunch time, 3 floors so lots of stairs to climb. Nice decor with lampshades.

Called in for coffee and cake. Despite cake being on the menu there wasn't any available. Friendly service and good coffee and.

First visit here and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The Food was clean and tasty and a reasonable price. Will visit again.

We were recently visiting our flat in Ocean Village and stopped in to Maritimo for a lunch, before a long journey on the road. This bar/restaurant is always a great atmosphere ... it's got funky music, funky vibes, great food and friendly staff. All right on the marina, with beautiful views. It's buzzing in the evenings with a cool feel to it. We just had a couple of burgers - I had the Lounge Bacon Cheeseburger with a Moretti beer and my wife had the more modest Lounge Burger. Both were cooked perfectly, and tasted amazing. We saved room for a pudding, so we split and order of churros - with salted caramel and chocolate dipping sauces with cinnamon dust also. Topped off with a two cappuccini ... perfect. You can't go wrong ... you'll love it there.

Really poor service, entered and we were ignored by the staff. Had to ask whether the waiter worked there. After waiting for a while, we asked him if they had a table for two. He put his arm out and sarcastically looked around at the empty tables. I was surprised by the rudeness and just walked out instead.

Been here several times for breakfast, dinner & lunch. Always absolutely spot on for food. Quick service when you order at the table. Staff always polite. Highly recommend.

Despite there being several members of staff at the bar when we entered we were totally ignored as we stood by the sign saying ‘wait here to be seated’. Eventually I asked if we could go and find a table. Very bad initial reception. Last time we were here the staff were excellent, this time they certainly were not. All the staff were expressionless and not at all warm and pleasant. The food was good and the prices are reasonable.

Every time I have attended the restaurant food has either been missing, or of poor quality.

Nothing overly special. Great views of marina if you're lucky enough to get a table near it. Quite expensive and not much indoors atmosphere, all depends on whether you like oldy building or retro.

Always a great place to grab food any time of the day. Relaxed, quick & easy. Any of the Lounges are worth a visit!

Visit here time and again over the summer months. Always fab meals and cocktails with friendly, relaxed service.

I had pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and it was yummy. Also was the Milkshake with Oreo's.

Food: 🌟🌟🌟 I have ordered the smashed avocado and a iced latte The portion is very small like picture. For me it’s quite sour, the more I ate the more appetizing I was. It will be enough for those who want small amount. Price:🌟🌟 £14.70 With the amount of food, it’s not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this. Maybe try something else. Service: 🌟🌟🌟 It’s order to the table. Not much service.

Tried spicy margarita and it was so sweet that we were unable to drink it. Asked them to replace it and they said they can’t make it spicy, lol

Totally ignored at service counter even though there were four people only one making a coffee sums up customer service and no one hardly in there.

Great location with outlook on the boats & lovely food. Added bonus was there was also a quiz night on which we got to par-take in (and lose badly 😂) but it was good having a laugh competing!

while on a sailing course nearby, I ate here. It was very good for the price, and with a nice view. I would recommend it to anyone.

We were company of 12 people from 5 countries and ordered Steaks and Beers. So, they were not able to serve us as no steaks left, also limited number of beers. We had to change the order with burgers that were far from what we expected. It was just Tuesday…!

Very nice restaurant to have a pre cruise coffee or meal

Since going gluten free I’ve found it quite hard to find places to eat. The gluten free menu at the Lounges is one of the biggest I’ve ever seen and it all tastes to good! My personal highlight is the banoffee cheesecake which was so good I forgot to get a picture of it!

A great place in Ocean Village right next to the Marina, so a great view too.

Second time here, as the Santo lounge is our local. Was really nice and friendly. Staff were on hand to support us. Food and drinks came in a speedy manner and was a lovely calm family atmosphere!

I've only ever been in for breakfast on numerous occasions and keep going back, says it all, and the staff are superb, and dog friendly

Ate here earlier this evening and loved it! Great welcome, calm but lively atmosphere, delicious good and fab drinks! What more can you ask for? Partner is veggie and had the houlumi burger and absolutely loved it (there are so many veggie options btw). I had tapas; garlic and parmesan chicken wings, whipped honey feta, and cheddar and sweetcorn frittas, all of which were delicious! Would highly recommend! Also fantastic long island iced tea!

We eat at lounges when in a large group because they cater for everyone in a relaxed, comfortable environment. This one has a lovely view, being by the marina.

Visited this bar with 7 friends, ready to enjoy a great night out. Little did we know, we were about to embark on a game of “musical chairs” with no music and a side of confusion. We arrived, ordered our drinks, and were asked for our table number. Innocent enough, right? Except we didn’t have one. When we asked if there was a spare, the staff sent us on a scavenger hunt to find one ourselves. Apparently, table management isn’t their forte. Half of us were mid-order when we were informed standing wasn’t allowed. So, in a twist of irony, we were told to sit down immediately, despite there being no indication that a table for 8 was available. They didn’t know either, but they sure knew we couldn’t stand. Talk about keeping us on our toes! Meanwhile, solo guests were sprawling comfortably at tables meant for groups, like table real estate tycoons. If you enjoy a bit of chaos with your cocktails and a side quest to find seating, this is your place. Just remember to bring your own table or a good dose of humor. Cheers (while sitting, of course)!

My wife is gluten intolerant so the lounge is a favourite. We stopped over in Southampton for a few nights and used Maritimo Lounge and wasn't disappointed.

Very tasty food and even an extra vegan and gluten-free menu. The vegan food was great. If I lived here, I would be a regular guest!

This is mine... Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've left Maritimo Lounge disgusted by the way the staff treat customers. The first time, I returned to the bar as my red wine didn't taste right. Instead of immediately resolving the issue, they passed the glass around for various staff to taste/validate my complaint as I looked on feeling like they were deliberately trying to shame me. This was absolutely disgraceful. It was replaced in the end but completely ruined my visit. Last night, I was given a glass with lipstick on. I asked if it could be changed, and the staff member concerned scrutinised the glass before then giving me a clean one. These 2 incidents alone reflect very poor customer service. We each then went on to order food in the app. 2 meals arrived, but the 3rd did not. It was ordered first, so we felt something wasn't right. When we got halfway through our meals, my friend went to the bar to enquire. She was told they were really busy and short staffed, and the food would be out soon. We chased it up on several occasions with several members of staff who all said the order is in the kitchen and it would be out ASAP. We chased up again, at which point we were told the order didn't go through, they have just put it through, we asked if they could prioritise it and they said they would try their best. Still no meal. Then the manager came out, this is when we realised that the order was placed to the wrong table number (the next table), an error on our part but nevertheless, the way we were then treated was disgraceful. Notwithstanding the fact that we had been told on several occasions that the food was coming over a 45 minute period, the manager then asked if we wanted our money back or to wait for the meal, we asked for both to which he nodded and walked away. The food came, it was nice. We then went the query the refund at the bar, the manager very assertively said that his colleague had come out with the food, shouted out several times and that we did not hear him (apparently every table looked up apart from us, if he was aware of that I question why he didn't then come over to our table to ask us). We had also told this same person that the food had not arrived. He did not put 2 and 2 together. Had he done so, he would have diffused the situation early on. The manager and this same person then proceeded to argue with us about who was at fault. The manager kept asking if the food was good, which it was, but the service experience is equally important, which he refused to accept. Shocking for someone working in the service industry. The staff were very antagonistic and created such a scene that WE were then asked to leave the premises. I am flabbergasted at the attitude and treatment of customers. I have been to many other Lounges before and fortunately have never experienced such pretentious, abhorrent treatment. That first visit, I just put down to ignorance, but to have this on a second visit says to me that there is some serious mismanagement at this establishment. In all this, there was never at one point an apology! Not for the bad wine, the lipstick glass and the way we were misled (or lied to) about the food order. Nevertheless, I'm expected that this feedback will be completely ignored!??? I really hope some action is taken, very damaging to the Lounge brand!

Semi regular there, never had any issues and satisfied with the food each time. Service is more hand-off as you can predominantly order via a QR code, but it means you can customise your order to your specifications better and not run the risk of something being not quite right.

We have been there today and I saw there is free table upstairs but the waiter told us no empty table and asked us to on the table front of the door so we left , not good service at all.

Quite expensive. Coffee and toast was as expected!. Unfortunately Ocean Village is overrated for what it is now. It used to be the in place to go

Don’t get me wrong stunning views lovely garden for summer but the food itself just doesn’t always hit the right place, squid tasted undercooked batter was still stodgy, cocktail was overly bitter didn’t come with Prosecco shot as usual, usually love this place today was a miss

Great place for brunch and friends meeting. Beautiful decorations with great views. They have good choices of food for breakfast and lunch. The only problem is whenever they change their chef the taste of food is different. One of my favourite dishes is Shakshuka. Staff are always friendly and polite.

Situated overlooking the sea with beautiful views. Seating outside, ground floor and upstairs. Upon entering we were greeted and asked if we required a separate menu for any dietary requirements. Ordered via the link at the table. Food and drinks arrived promptly. Food was good but the cappuccino was amazing, lovely and frothy. Toilets available.

Love a Lounge and only marked this down because when we went there wasn't much choice when it came to coffee, only americano, and no fresh orange juice, my favourite.

First time visiting Maritimo Lounge and best breakfast I've ever had. The plate was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Bacon was perfect, no over cooked or under cooked. Nice and crispy😍😍

Really nice restaurant located in the Southampton Ocean Village Marina. Came here for brunch and it did not disappoint. Really good breakfasts with app qr code service. Noticed that they also host a quiz on Monday nights at 7pm £2 each.

Staff are all young and therefore don't care. Not one person in uniform, the girl behind the bar had cycling shorts and a dirty grey t-shirt on. We were told 15 mins wait for food, when we went to order it that doubled to 30 mins, so we walked out.

I was looking to book a table for 18 people, I had some questions before I make the booking, try to call the phone number but keep showing line busy from the morning, after 20+ phone call still line busy, I drive 20 mins to the restaurant and visit the store in person. I entered the restaurant and asking about the issue on their phone, the manager insist the phone is working properly, but I make another phone call inside the restaurant still showing line busy. The manager very rude and not willing to communicate, told me will not accept any booking or inquiry in the restaurant, told me to book online, then he walk away. Very surprise with these kind of service from a restaurant in prime location. (The time I visit is 2pm the restaurant is empty)

We were looking for a gluten free friendly place, as my doughter has coeliac disease. And Yes, we can defenetaly recommend this place. GF menu is really big. Interesting dishes to choose from. Everything delicious. Servis is very friendly. Place looks clean.

First time in Southampton. We randomly found this restaurant on google maps. We loved the food, the atmosphere and the location. Quite and lively. We were 3 people and ordered 9 tapas plates to share along with 2 flat breads and drinks. We loved all the dishes, but we had one favorite which was the honey whipped feta!

Staff handled questions about ingredients brilliantly and managed allergy issues with proper dilience.

Best brunch in Southampton. Loads of vegan options, and love that they are part of a chain that doesn’t feel like a cheesy chain restaurant.

Nice place to sit if having a long catch up lunch or drink. Comfortable to sit for several hours, loud enough to keep conversation private but not so loud you can't hear each other

My 2 x daughters and myself, nanny visited for lunch. Waiter said tables free upstairs. No lift. We struggled upstairs with a sleeping child in the buggy. No assistance offered by any members of staff. My eggs in the shakshuka were undercooked. I was told that is how it should be. Offered a replacement which had hard boiled eggs! I did not want to risk food poisoning and have had this dish many times with soft cooked eggs. Rest of the food was good.

A very quiet early evening visit. Speedy service with only a slight glitch on pay at table, soon sorted by pleasant staff. Food came out quickly and was tasty and satisfying. We love Lounges, this one lived up to expectations.

Arrived at the above address yesterday to do the Services we provide for them, I wasn't there for food, met the staff, and they were all very professional, Hard working on site, had to let the guy know I was there because he was on the computer, and obviously didn't see us, explained who I was, signed in and headed upstairs to the gents, lovely guy went above his job, and carried my heavy equipment upstairs to the Washrooms, #fair play to him. Lovely experience - coffee was great as was the breakfast.

Part of a chain of differently named lounges in Southampton. Although from the same menu the food here is a higher quality than that of Santo lounge in Shirley. The staff are polite but not overly friendly and the decor is that of an incomplete building. For me bare bricks and wire with random topic pointless pictures are not my thing. Main downside is the visible pipework its great to see all the dust ontop that could float down onto your food shaken loose by the slightest loud noise, But hey its only my opinion Decor could be to your taste so visit please its worth it. food and beer prices are reasonable considering other places nearby charge more for less.

Pop in every other Wednesday and the food, the drinks and the staff are amazing.

Nice place, split over 3 levels with a nice view of the water from the top floor! We ordered via the app and the orders all came out correctly. I had the Bombay fried chicken burger, which was ok but not as "Bombay" as I would have hoped - I'd have liked more spices and flavour! Churros for desert went down very well, and theres a wider range of interesting soft and alcoholic drinks too.

Great food, friendly staff and lovely view over ocean village. They offer free wifi, however it doesn’t reach all over the restaurant and the signal is poor in a lot of areas around the restaurant which causes issues when trying to order or pay on the barcode/online.

First time at Maritimo lounge and it was nice. The atmosphere wasn’t great but the service was good. You order by QR code only which can be tricky as not great signal around there. Food came hot and was very tasty. Clean and tidy. Maybe it was due to a Monday but still a nice place to visit.

Very busy due to football today. Had breakfast with my mum and grandson. Can’t speak highly enough about the attentive and friendly staff . Lovely food and I had a nice lager too 👍

Favourite casual dining spot and my go to for brunch or lunch in Ocean Village. Special thanks to the team today for looking after me/my friend who has had two knee operations. Very much appreciated! I nearly always have the lounge eggs (like eggs Benedict), but my friend who usually joins me always has a burger.. great chips too! Given the cost of living, Maritimo delivers great value for money.. it does get busy though so go a little earlier in the weekend or or around lunchtime.
