Went in Mariner's after we had be on a boat trip. We had a chicken and bacon sandwich which had loads of tasty filling and then a lovely piece of homemade fruit cake. Friendly service and the food arrived quickly.

The best place for breakfast and brunch in Exmouth. Excellent location, nice food, big choice, good service. Sausages and ham are homemade. Chips are tasty. Cooked perfect, you can’t taste or smell oil. Cakes and drinks good as well

The whole experience was very amateur We ordered breakfasts and coffees Coffee arrived no saucers, food took over 35 minutes for basic fry up Obviously untrained kitchen staff, the ingredients were cheap as chips When chasing order told it would be next, had to press to even get it. Toast was supermarket sliced Overall what a waste, fabulous position but let down by both FOH, and untrained kitchen Surprised also that I failed to see hygiene rating any where God help them when season starts

Excellent simple food and charming service. The Lardy Cake was superb. All food beautifully prepared on the premises.

We stopped at the cafe for a coffee and to warm up and decided to have lunch. I had the all day small breakfast which was excellent, the bacon was really tasty and everything was cooked perfectly, not greasy at all. My wife had the Tuna melt panini which she said was the most delicious food she had on holiday in Devon. The service was friendly and quick and everything was spotless.

Car broke down on the Axminster bypass: when fixed I had lost the will to drive another 4 hours so checked into the George Inn. In the middle of an outrageously good Halloween party, the staff were never the less attentive, sympathetic and checked me in quickly. Recently refurbished, the hotel is really and very well furnished and decorated - super comfortable, super clean, super cozy. It’s a little gem, with parking - great value too!

This is the pub we always go to when holidaying in Exmouth. Good food, pleasant staff. Only downside is it can be a bit noisy sometimes.

We visited on a bright November afternoon, walking in, we were greeted by a lady behind the bar wearing a coat! It was cold in the pub and we were shivering by the end of our visit. The pub is light and bright and well decorated. Beer is well kept but over £5.50 a pint, diet coke is £2.50 a can! We did go back to eat on another afternoon, cold again, bar lady in her coat! The food is mediocre to say the least, if you like microwaved food, tinned new potatoes and instant mash you will enjoy it, we ate it because we were hungry but gourmet it ain't! The lamb shank swimming in gravy with peas and instant mash at £18.95 is way over priced. They are missing a trick here, if they served fresh food, they could corner the market with the nearby caravan park. Disappointing.
