Marine Bar & Kitchen in Sefton

Popped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of choice on the menu...we chose steak and mushroom sandwich with skin on fries, onion rings and cheeseburger with fries. Food was served quickly and was hot and fresh. The onion rings were fab! The chef (called Tiger!) brought our food out and was polite and friendly. Family friendly and dog friendly pub. Will be back. They show the footy too!

We have been here before and have always been disappointed with “just about” hot coffee and poor service Today we Decided to give it another go We only ordered coffee and toast and after the last few times of being served cool coffee I asked today if they could make it extra hot (which would be the normal temp for most places) Coffee arrived ..bit hotter than last time to be fair but far from acceptable waited for toast which never arrived had to prompt waitress and got it eventually But by the time it came the coffee was cold ….no offer of a refill or apology the staff just didn’t care If they can’t get coffee and toast right ,it’s time to throw in the towel or train your staff Shame as it’s a nice place We gave it another chance but Sorry to say we won’t go back

The slowest kitchen ever, food took an hour to come. And when it came, one of the orders, the pie was completely cold, gravy is a water consistency. Fish and chips are extremely oily to a point that is soggy. If I can leave negative stars, I will. Good luck if you ever order food there.

Really enjoyable visit today. Was really busy but the staff were very friendly and efficient. Best fish and chips I’ve had in ages, will be back soon. Special thanks to Danny and Natalie great service.

Asked for a G&T and no tonic water. Asked for a Madri. Only had Carling. Hardly anything on the shelves. People walking out. Looked like it was closing down. Terrible place.

Couldn't get beer we wanted, ' got none' no offer of anything else by the staff, just walked off to resume her conversation,so we left! Update 18/8/24: tried again, still not great service and it should be, it's probably the dearest pub on the road! And OMG, the smell in the ladies was putrid!!! No third try, enough is enough 🥺

Drove past here at lunchtime and decided to give it a try as it had a good private outdoor seating and really close to the marina. It has on street parking only so no disabled spaces. The place looked nicely decorated and it was a pay at the bar service so I thought I ordered brushetta for starters and stilton and mushroom burger for main. I also had half a lager and the bill came to £14.45. good deal. Food came out about 10 mins later but it instead of the burger and brushetta they brought out stilton and garlic mushrooms as a starter and also the brushetta. They only charged me for the two starters so to save the hassle I just decided to eat the mushrooms and in so glad I did as they tasted amazing. The best I've ever had in fact and I've had ALOT !!!!. Next came the brushetta and again it tasted amazing. Fresh and clean and perfect on a sunny day. One minor note Dutch the paper it sat on as it got soggy. I even grabbed to chef and told him how good the food was and I could tell he was passionate about his food. Ordered a coffee afterwards for £2.50 Also if you get served at the bar by Natalie the tattooed bar person call her Wendy as a joke as I heard an old guy call her that and I jumped onto the band wagon just for fun so let's see how many people call her that. Oh and Murphy's law I dropped my wallet in the bar and luckily enough they found it and put it behind the bar so thank you to them for that. I've seen alot of 1 star reviews for here. All I can say is personally the food is amazing and the outdoor space is good and the prices aren't bad. I'll come again just to say hi to Wendy haha

It was very busy and a hot day, so it was a bit edgy, but after some delay the food arrived....and it was GOOD.

We waited over an hour and a half for food. There was rats in the garden play area where the children were playing. Staff were very dismissive and abrupt upon asking were our food was. I would not reccomend this place. Stay in.

I had the worst experience in that place and wrote a review and got a response from ‘the manager’ that accused me of false behaviour and provided false information throughout. Let’s get the things straight as I will not tolerate false facts : 1. Toilets had no toilet paper or soap. 2. I never shouted or sweared. All I asked for refund as we haven’t eaten any of that awful food and wasted 1.5 hours waiting for it. You have CTV cameras, please do check again 3. ‘When you were eventually asked to leave the premises by myself it was due to the abuse and bad language that you were directing at my employees’ - This is totally made up. If that is true why didn’t you call police when customers insult your employees? I don’t ever even use bad language never mind abusing anyone 4. You are saying I have been given a refund for the chicken salad ? really? I can proof with my bank statements that you gave me nothing ! Please provide the proof 5. The steak and ale pie came back empty plated? Please do refer to your cctv cameras and you will just find out We haven’t touched any of our food you’ve been pointing into that steak and pie plate asking me what’s wrong with it. And last but not least you asked me to email you to discuss this matter which I did and waited a month until today for your reply and got no reply back! I hope this review helps people when they fine themselves in-this situation

This place has gone downhill since being taken over, which is a shame because it has so much potential. A guy was waiting 45 minutes for his food to arrive, only for it to arrive after multiple chasers...missing an item. I heard him call over one of the younger members of staff. He ended up asking for a refund because of the wait and missing items, and at this stage the new manager came over. The refund was refused, and he was spoken to like dirt by the manager. He was accused of speaking to young staff in an unacceptable manner which he did not as I heard everything that was said. They guy was told to leave without his refund. As he walked out, the manager sticks up two fingers to him behind his back. I felt sorry for him as he had done nothing wrong at all. Waited 45 minutes for food, and arrived incomplete. My own experience here is that some of the new staff here don't have a clue when it comes to food service. My own food orders have on multiple occasions been incomplete, and the food quality is no longer worth trying in my opinion. Pub is generally a nice place when busy, but it has a lot of work to do with general service, having staff at the right level of experience who care about their job, and the food situation needs sorting out. Other pubs are thriving around this area, and unfortunately this one is having a bad time. Feedback in general recently should be taken onboard and some thought around how to make this a better place.

i. ordered a linguine.with roasted vegetables the other day and it was absolutely disgusting it tasted like it was smothered in hp sauce and tomato sauce with a hot spice through it, when the plates where taken away the waitress said how was it. I said it was absolutely revolting she said if had have left it she would have refunded me. but I been reading another review stating that she complained also, and they said we don't give refunds so what is going on my friend she wasn't happy with the sausages with mash and peas to me they looked overcooked I myself think something should be done about the cook he is hopeless 😔 I should have looked around at how fewer people where in this place never again its ok to drink there but no I I wouldn't ever eat there anymore

Friendly staff, bright comfortable environment. Wide choice of food and drink and a great outdoor seating area. Across the road from the beach.

We had a roast and it was lovely the 3 kids had kids meals and the the value was brilliant all the staff where lovely xx

The service was nice enough but they unfortunately got the order wrong, once it was rectified I've got to say it was the worst roast I've had in a long time, the chicken on the roast was coated in garlic and the beef was so tough I gave most of mine to the dog, we had a side of pigs in blankets which had clearly been deep fried and the extra Yorky just never arrived. The staff were really friendly but the food standards massively let it down.

The service in here was disgraceful, 1 member of staff on behind the bar when we first went in here had to wait at the bar for a drink as the bar staff were downstairs changing barrels, the toilets absolutely shockingly minty, sat outside as weather nice, dirty seating area cobwebs all over the seats. Ordered food waited up to nearly an hour without being told of any delay, unsure of why as other people seen coming in after us yet eating before us & when the food finally came after going up to the bar couple of times to ask where our food was the mixed grill was shocking, tasteless only warm & not hot & the steak was only mildly warm left the lot & walked out. Absolutely shocking would never go in here again never mind eat.

Had a disappointing family birthday meal here about a month ago. They neglected to tell us when booking a table that about half of the menu was unavailable, then my meal came out with no Yorkshire pud or peas, when I questioned it was told they had no Yorkshire pudding but had peas, which came out later after I had finished eating. My Niece sent her burger back twice before they got it right. All a bit chaotic and unprofessional, felt like the very polite young staff had been left in the lurch, poor management.

Aoife the new landlady and the team are amazing! New chef is amazing! Sunday dinners are fresh and so nice!! 😋 will definitely be back soon!!

We visited the pub when we visited friends in the are overall a nice look and well looked after pub the staff where friendly and helpful we met the lady lady a lovely Irish girl the food was good opted for the usual burger and chips and have no complaints. We would visit again when we are in the area 5 star

We visited the marine for our tea recently. They had an inchs cider tap but when ordering we were told it's not inchs really it's strongbow. But no problem we ordered bottles instead so that was fine. The young lad on the bar was sound by the way I got the impression he was only new and he was very pleasant. Then we ordered food. So there was 4 of us, 3 adults and 1 child. I ordered fish and chips which when it eventually came was very nice although the mushy peas were like soup and there was no tartar sauce which while not really an issue they should have said if they didn't have any or asked did we need anything when they brought the food out. The baby had sausage and mash which she liked so all good there, my step daughter had loaded fries and chicken which she liked so good again, the only real issue then was their meals came out and mine and my Mrs meals came quite a while later for some reason, so they'd well finished theirs when ours turned up with no explanation why. Now I've said mine was nice but my Mrs had ordered hunters chicken which to my knowledge is a whole chicken breast and bacon covered in cheese and BBQ sauce, and was meant to have chips and salad with it. What actually turned up I can only describe as regurgitated chicken bacon cheese and BBQ sauce with a bit of salad. It honestly looked like it had been eaten once already. And no chips. Now this is bad enough really, but when she took it back and asked for a refund the attitude from the manager was disgusting, saying it's normal standard hunters chicken and there's nothing wrong with it, eventually she refunded the cost of the meal but without any sort of grace or professionalism whatsoever. Needless to say that's the last meal we'll be having there it's a shame really it used to be a lovely pub. They need to put table numbers outside as well. The bar staff as I say are sound though no issues with any of them at all

We eat Sunday. 1 hour wait for the food.ok but management should let people no so you can have choice. Food average at best. Staff didnt even look like they was awake. So we got 3 roast dinners with extra potatoes. We had cup of tea firstly cold. Then when Food turned up no extra potatoes .they turned up at end of meal. I mean from a business point of view its poor why didn't the management come over an offer a cup of tea or an apology really poor management

Second visit in the space of a month - first time order was wrong was told they have a new chef and they didn’t know the menu properly it was their first day. Fair enough, order was rectified and staff was accommodating and apologetic. Second visit - waited 50 mins for food to be told id only been waiting 30 mins. Place was empty and Food was wrong again. Steak and chips missing peas and onion rings that’s advertised on the menu. Ordered southern fried loaded fries. Received sweet chilli chicken loaded fries 🤣, I really don’t know how they can get an order wrong. Sadly won’t be visiting again. Can see by reviews other people are having the same issues

Food was good service was appalling. Never known anything like it. I never leave a very poor review but this place absolutely deserves it.

Absolutely outstanding Sunday dinner today, all fresh and perfectly cooked - the new management are really putting their heart and soul into the place - would definitely recommend and will be returning regularly

My starter arrived with my main meal minus the sour dough bread for my starter and cauliflower cheese side with my main. While I waited for the missing items I resorted to eating my main as it wasn't very hot. The food was tasty and well cooked but was obviously sitting for a while. When my husbands dessert arrived it was minus the Belgian waffle. Our server was a lovely young man and the bar staff were great.

Popped into The Marine Bar & Kitchen today for a spot of lunch as we had heard great things about the food. Me & my husband ordered 2 scampi and chips from the lunchtime menu which was absolutely phenomenal. The lady behind the bar Sophie who had taken my order could not do enough for us even though the pub was busy. I will definitely be returning again.

Awful! Dirty toilets, dirty glasses and cups. Waited over half an hour to be served at the bar even though wasn’t busy. No please or Thankyou. Staff argueing behind the bar and observed them shouting at customers who where all complaining about the food. (Observed at least 5 couples requesting refunds) I asked for a clean cup to be rudely told ‘they are all like that what you want me to do’ used to love it here. Never again.

Great service a lovely bar staff, Lauren a Natalie were absolutely fantastic and catered to all our needs as my younger brother Stephen is disabled. He really enjoyed himself while shadow boxing during the Live boxing that was shown on the tele. Very welcoming, would definitely come again.

Shouldn’t be 1 star frankly!! Like many other reviews, ‘new management’ means nothing, youd think they’d make an effort as recently took it over but nope. Ordered portions of chips and some bread.. waited 40 mins, went and asked and the (likely underpaid rude young girl on the bar) said it’ll be out in a min just been made… waited another 5-10 mins so went back in and asked for a refund.. ‘oh manager said no refunds for food already made’… worked in hospo for years and wow.. no refunds for food already made… so why aren’t you bringing portions of chips and bread out hahaha! So angrily the same girl brought them out and put them on a table, one portion cold one portion newly made.. you know it’s bad when you dont even want to complain out of sheer shock and disbelief. We weren’t rude to her as I actually felt sorry but man she was fuming. Don’t bother, whoever the manager is.. they’re terrible at hiring as everyone was pretty bad at their job. But can anyone be arsed working for minimum wage these days so I guess we shouldn’t blame the minimum wage staff, maybe the owners.. but they’re never to be seen are they.. anyway I’d avoid until it’s under new management again in the next few months lol

Waited for our food for an hour and a half, we tried to speak to the bar where we had placed our order who told us to speak to the kitchen...the kitchen staff were then very rude and said go back to the bar. When *some* of the food did finally arrive it all came and different times, each time 1 plate came out we had to go back up to the staff and say we were still waiting for the rest of our order. The 'waiters' didn't seems to know what food was supposed to go to what table and took the food for a walk before finally brining it to us 😅 We had been giving the wrong food twice and a chicken meal was given to a vegetarian after being told it was the mozzarella. I'm not sure if the 'waiters' were back of house staff or training but you could definitely feel a lack of manament and organisation and these poor kids seem to be getting the brunt of the frustration. The food was okay but your probably better off just going to spoons 😂

We’d been for a walk down the beach and got a bit hungry so we popped in the marine for food and a few drinks. The pub was absolutely chocker everyone was ordering food but we got told there could be abit of a wait but we didn’t mind. I did notice a lot of other customers were told the same and said that was ok but then after 10/15 minutes where up at the bar moaning at staff? What do people expect on a warm day? The staff were doing their best they should all be ashamed of themselves and I wouldn’t mind non of them are locals that travel down when the suns out I suggest they stay at home!

I have been in the UK for many years, but it is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Waiting for hours for the food, the staff speaks very badly, the food is very bad and the cleaning is the same. We waited 2.30 hours for the food and when we asked he told us if we don't wait We can go. We are 3 adults, 3 children and a baby. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE

Very good service in the work place there was a lovely young lady behind the bar with pink hair would really recommend lovely food and really clean please to eat

After a stroll in Crosby, me and my partner went here for some food, the classic fish and chips. As young as the chef is, food was amazing, polite and service was amazing as the kitchen was closed when we got there. The price is very reasonable and the portion size was spot on. I would highly recommend it.

I was in last Sunday with my wife just as a break from the sun the staff were lovely. One of the glass collectors with red hair, think his name was Louie was especially helpful as we were lost of how to get back to the city centre. Will visit again when we are back in the city.

Went in on Saturday for some food and a few drinks. Girls behind the bar gave good service but waited about 45 minutes for food and it was still pretty early. The missus ordered mozzarella sticks that came out rock hard then she had a chicken salad which was missing cheese and croutons. I had gammon and eggs, the gammon was barely cooked and the eggs were black at the bottom. Decided to have a look into the kitchen to see only 4 lads no older than 20 all in montirex clothes😂 I couldn’t believe it, me and the missus starting laughing. It’s a bit worrying that a boozer in a good location by the beach on a very warm day had kids running the kitchen. Good place a for pint and to watch the football but don’t bother with the food until they invest in a decent kitchen manager and some chef whites😂

Its lovely to catch the sun in both beer gardens and honestly cant recommend the burger anymore the sauce is amazing

Very disappointed in service Ordered 1 chicken tikka masala which still didn’t arrive 45 minutes later. When I went to ask at the bar I was told I’d have to wait for her to find out where it was and she would come to the table and let me know. 5 minutes later she still hasn’t checked so I had to go back up and ask meal to be cancelled. There was no apology. All I got was ‘do you have to go'. I then stood for another few minutes before she came back and I was handed £13 again with no explanation or apology. I could understand delay if it was really busy but it wasn’t. More upset with customer service than anything else. We came to support local pub on relaunch night but unfortunately will not be coming back again. I hope management takes this onboard and improves service before more customers are lost. Also not sure why I was charged £20.29 for chicken tikka (£12.99) and a pint of strongbow dark fruits. Either the strongbow is £7.30 or some till training is also needed?

Booked a table 3 Days prior to going when we arrived we were told there was no food as oven had broke that morning, no apology bad attitude won't rerurn

A complete waste of time and money. We arrived at 1pm and ordered promptly at the bar from the lunch menu…we were not informed of any wait for food. At 1.45 one of the dishes arrived…my husbands tinned soup. After a further 15 or 20 minutes later the other two dishes had still not arrived and he had finished his a while ago. When we enquired with a waitress who was clearing the table next to ours…which had also had diners at it that said they weren’t coming back after waiting over an hour and getting their food in dribs and drabs….she told us that we could get a refund for the other two meals so we could leave…we had somewhere we needed to be and to be honest would not have ordered if we were told there was a long food wait in a fairly empty establishment. Manager refused to give us a refund as they said the other dishes were on their way out of the kitchen although as far as I’m aware only one dish was ready and no sign of the other. The manager also stated that we had been told about the wait which is just not true. The surly waitress told me that the reason she only had one plate is that she can only carry one at a time? I’ve been a restaurant owner for many years so I understand that these things happen but you should keep your customers informed and we should certainly have been refunded for the meals we never received as that’s just common sense customer service. Ended up grabbing a subway sandwich to eat on the train. Never ever again

We waited an hour for food. The place was pretty empty so it was not like they had a rush on. One meal eventually came with no cutlery. We were looking around trying to catch a member of staff to ask for a knife and fork Waited again two more meals eventually came. We actually got cutlery for those. Waited some more the last eventually came. Steak and ale pie upside down burnt underneath it wasn't steak and ale at all. A frozen pie in a box would have tasted nicer. All four meals were what can only be described as poor. Nobody came to ask what we thought of the meal I am not surprised because it was a disgrace. We ordered ice cream for a four year old it tasted foul she wouldn't even eat it. My only advise would be to walk right past this place. I would never go back again.

Came for food after a walk down the marina with the family, food was excellent, staff where very attentive. Beer garden had a climbing frame for the kids so we where able to relax. Overall a positive experience. We will be back.

Service poor, when taking orders, if it's not available, then say so a the time of purchase, not ten minutes later! To do this once whilst ordering the mains can be forgiven, but to do so again more than once after taking the desert order is extremely poor! In the end, cancelled the desert order. This could have been a bad day for them, but I would think twice before I would eat there again. The only good thing was the pint of John Smiths.

The experience at this pub was dreadful, i ordered food and waited over 2 hours to the see a two skinny boy behind the bar poured drinks and then take it back to the kitchen. The cooks obviously drink on shift. I witnessed staff sniffing coke in the toilets, after this and the poor service by the manager I had to leave. No wonder there aren’t people going to this pub. It’s a joke

We celebrated a 60th birthday at the Marine Bar this weekend, we were given a good space to accommodate 10 adults & children in high chairs. The service was great & the food was also good quality & value for money. The sport was on & the restaurant had a steady flow of customers - there was also background music which created a nice atmosphere. Would recommend!!

Terrible. Don't bother. Waited over an hour for food and it wasn't even that busy. Wasn't even worth the wait. A chicken and bacon salad had 4 baby gem lettuce leaves, 4 cucumber slices and a bit of chicken and bacon for 11.99. Rip off Burger looked less appetising than a carb board disc.. won't go back.

I used to come here at a 4 year old with my grandad in the 70’s, it’s changed a lot but still feels familiar good service and food, worth a visit when in the area:-)

My mother booked a table for mothers day for 11.45. We got to the restaurant and they weren't even open. There were people walking around inside, ignoring us as they 'weren't open'. Finally got someone's attention for them to mouth '5 minutes' through the window. Didn't even have the audacity to open the door and speak to us in person. My mother was distraught and she went home, crying her eyes out. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Disgusting behaviour!

Great looking pub but just lacked a bit of atmosphere. Football matches turned off after we got there for Rugby which nobody was watching. Serious lack of bar staff. Would love to run this and change it to suit the area.

No kitchen on and awful pint of Guinness poured badly

Nice place, staff friendly, ordered drinks, went back to bar with food order, then told they were not serving food today (Friday evening) would have been nice to have mentioned that before selling us drinks.

Such a warm welcome straight from the start I had a beef roast dinner today and managed to catch the name of one of the chefs "jay" from what I recall it was amazing there were another chef working today bit didn't have chance to catch a name but thank you so much you really made my day thank you to all the staff great value for money defiantly worth popping in for some food and drinks I will be coming back!!

The dj on a Saturday night is absolutely awful, just shouts on the microphone he thinks he's in a club. Plays/sings Liverpool songs when there is no reason to at all. Know your audience, no wonder there's never anyone in there.

Lovely setting food was OK but slowest service I've ever had in my life 45 mins for burger and chips and the place was empty.

Considering it was very quiet the food was not great, microwaved mash which was over nuked in some parts, microwaves peas and Yorkshire puddings which where frozen in places and portions sizes where small however veg sausages where nice. The staff behind the bar where lovely and friendly.

Had a Sunday roast here and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Staff were lovely especially holly and manager Sharron who made our visit lovely. Would definitely recommend. Lovely beer garden for hot weather aswell!

Food is obviously out the freezer but its not bad no worse that weatherspoons or hungry horse. Staff very nice pleasant girls . Manager is also a nice lady. Good atmosphere can take dogs in with you which is a positive. Generally customers of good stock . Food slightly over priced for the quality and i think if was lower more people would eat here.

Roast was fabulous, no mash as described in the menu on line but still great. Will definitely go again. They mention on the web page bringing family together in the Sunday menu, but a child's roast isn't on the menu! Shame, but the grandchildren still enjoyed their lunch. Can we have a child's roast on the menu please?

Waited nearly an hour for bits of food and when it turned up it was well over cooked

Me, my wife & 18 month old go here all the time. Food is absolutely delicious and the staff are always very friendly & helpful. They also have a kids play area outside which my 18 month old loves.

When my 9 year old was down to his last 2 slices he was alarmed to find an incinerated fly on his pizza. I showed a member of staff who protested it hadn't been there when she brought it to the table!! No apology but she offered to have a fresh one made - no use at all when my son was already full. I should have demanded a refund but instead asked her to at least let the chef know about it, something I'm sure she didn't bother to do. Even if she did, the chef didn't come over to offer an apology. Said member of staff also preferred to stand and watch when people were waiting to place orders at the bar. There are so many places to choose from close by we won't be returning here.

The Marine Pub is a great establishment located close to the Waterloo Coastal shoreline off South Road Waterloo. A great stopping point for refreshments and a place to rest after a good stroll along the Waterloo coastline or the Marine lake or parks in Waterloo. At the Marine you can wine and dine from a choice of excellent foods and drinks served in a warm bright clean and friendly environment both indoors or in their spacious outdoor eating areas. Here you can simple stop and relax whilst enjoying a drink or two before continuing on your journey or continue with your shopping from a variety of shops situated along South Road. If visiting by car there is free parking along the stretch of road adjacent to the Marine parks or park your car on South Road itself. Public transport is available via trains or buses as South Road Waterloo is on a major route.

Popped in here after taking our dogs on the beach, very dog friendly, the waitress brought them a bowl of water over soon as we arrived. Service was brilliant and quick, good choice of food, everything was delicious and fresh and the pub itself was very clean and tidy. I had the chicken tandoori tacos which were the nicest things I've had in ages!! So tasty. My partner had a chicken burger and chips which he really enjoyed. Also had a lovely coffee. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Friendly staff and good pints but often stop food service early… it’s now 19:35 and the menus are on the table and website says 9pm but they have stopped. The other day the decided to stop early and one day they didn’t even serve food all day🤷‍♂️

Long wait for very poor Sunday lunch. Would not eat here again

Good food, just there is no service around the area.

Waited for over 40 mins for food even though the place was dead. One of the items ordered was a 4 cheese dipping dish with a selection of breads. Came with 2 slices of toast. Lots of grease and deep fried food and over cooked chips really need to improve on the food front. Toilets were filthy and won't be returning any time soon.

Very slow service, food items were missed off the order and food was bland.

Excellent, food very hot,. service 10 out of 10, will be going back next week. Also before we eat we always inspect the toilet s and they were also excellent.

Lovely place very clean, staff are super friendly however the food was disappointing my daughter's burger was dripping with grease and my hunters chicken was very dry overcooked and the bacon was burned black and dripping with grease, the menu was on a piece of paper and has been for some time. This is a real shame because I love this place and like I said staff went above and beyond to help and please, the venue was spotless ... just a shame about the food as it used to be one of the best on the street so if that is improved the place will be perfect and well worth 5 stars

Great atmosphere in a lovely place, we had lunch there as well which was excellent as well and very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend

Roast dinner with 2 meats, the Pork was lovely, the Beef was tough. All veg was poor, all pre frozen and chewy. Nice place but more care needed foodwise.
