Margots At Trevisker in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Stopped for afternoon cake and cuppa. I always like doggy friendly scoff shops but this one has really nice staff, the cakes are very nice so what else can you ask for. Next time I'll be there for breakfast.

Thought it was called Maggots for a second, which was a strange name for a restaurant I thought. 😂

A pleasant enough cafe, the food options are many and reasonably priced for the area. The staff are very friendly and efficient, it can be a bit canteenish.

Private Function - excellent food and atmosphere. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Exceptionally clean. Highly recommend.

Food is fabulous, why bother trying to eat in Padstow. This offers much better food and nit to pricey, 5 mins from Padstow harbour

Having visited the restaurant last week for a Sunday carvery, I think that the standard has dropped off from previous, regular visits.

Great little Garden Centre with a fantastic restaurant well worth a visit plus little shops selling clothes, kitchen equipment plus a pet store. Good selection of plants and pots will definitely be going back soon 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Not great. Used as a last minute takeaway option. Sounded great but - overall - a disappointing experience. Fish and chips spoiled by way too much batter and oil. Pretty much all you could taste was the oil. Chicken curry was a bit of a redeemer. Very tasty and loads of chicken. Would we go back ? No !!

Stopped for coffee and cake. Good choice of home made cakes, unfortunately we just missed the hot food offerings. Service a little slow, understandable with staff shortages, which seems par for the course in these times.

Met family for lunch while on working holiday in Cornwall. Even though cafe was a bit understaffed they were amazing! Great service, dogs allowed so got to see my dog while away and reasonable prices. Food are 1st class, chips were unreal too

Full English Breakfast. 2 of everything and beans for £10. Thought a bit expensive to start. But well worth it absolutely delicious. Would definitely go again. Café clean and tidy plus staff were happy and obliging.

People got served before us sat waiting 45 minutes for the food to arrive then it wasn't cooked properly chip tasted like it was cooked in dirty oil

No car park. The Car park next to it has a 90 minute limit.

What more could you ask arrived too late for breakfast menu, but I explained that it was my birthday and they organised a make fry up and it was amazingly good.

The fish and Chips take-away was superb. Quick and efficient, really tasty fish.

Second visit here on our annual visit to Padstow. Again the service & food was excellent. Will definitely call in again for our farewell breakfast on leaving Padstow

It was a great place to go for a quick stop . Cake was lovely . But while we was sat waiting for our coffee we noticed that two tables near us had been waiting a very long while for there breakfasts . It was jot busy at all so can't understand the long waits . Think I might wait to come again .

Very impressed that there is a gluten free fish and chips option! The staff were lovely and service was quick with a limited takeaway menu running at the moment. Would definitley recommend if you're passing with the family!

Staff was over run. Food took very long to arrive and was missing vital components. Requested 3 times . ...still waiting. Rather take on fewer customers but do it right. I am sure it was just a particularly bad day but unfortunately that experience is now imprinted

Great place! We stopped by on our way to Padstow to grab a bit and feed our little one and we really enjoy our meal and the vibe around. Also staff were excellent and the food came out very quickly.

Fish and chips were beautiful. So tasty and fresh. Recommend child portion if your not a big eater as adult portions are big.

Nice welcome. Plenty of space. Spotless. The menu is over-reliant on breaded or battered and/ or deep fried items. Shame but menu a bit (sorry, very!) dated. Good coffee!

Top top top quality ingredients. Chef cooks the best egg by far.

Overall OK. Food OK but not outstanding. Service a little bit slow for us. Prices a little steep but not outrageous. Spacious place. Staff friendly and obliging. Covid precautions a bit lax - tables not wiped down between customers. Menus not cleaned between customers. Staff not using any PPE. But there are plenty of customer hand sanitising stations.

Evening meals available in garden centre cafe. Wide menu choice, curry options, burgers, stir frys, pizzas. Very good wines but at a price.

Attended for a new year's meal it was very supportive of me and my family even with my granddad that has got dementia would help and support us throughout the meal including giving an eye on grandads when he slipped away to speak to other patrons that he knew a beautiful few food by the chef and the team and wonderful waitress service

We recently went for an evening meal at Margots what fantastic food we had and the chef and staff were so friendly and accommodating to all our requests( and there were a few) but nothing was to much trouble. Definitely comes highly recommend from us !

Trevisker is a garden centre just outside Padstow. So you would be forgiven for expecting soup and jacket potatoes but you would be wrong. This is a proper restaurant serving fantastic food and because it's not in the heart of Pastow you can get a table. I had hake which was absolutely delicious and my husband had a fantastic Goan fish curry. We would absolutely recommend Margo's to anyone x

Food was good it was all good till we went to leave. And a female member off staff was by the hot tub swearing about another member off staff while children are about.

Great food! Didn't know what to expect in a garden center, but the food and service was brilliant. The day was windy with the doors open but the conservatory construction mattress the restaurant bright and warm. A really good afternoon.

Had breakfast before travelling home. Usually very good but disappointing that day. Everything very greasy and looked as if it had been kept hot too long.

Visited for breakfast and had a lovely experience. The lady serving us was really helpful and accommodating of our dietary requirements. A really nice atmosphere as well.
