Best chippy in area. Cheaper than most places and massive portions! Been going here for 15 years or so and never let down. Old owner Gary was better though

I have recently moved to the area and tried this chippy over the Christmas period. Absolutely best fish and chips ever … also had other food from there which was lovely. Staff lovely and very clean premises. Definitely be using this chip shop all the time now Emma …

Ordered a large chicken chow mien and the large salt n pepper box. The food here is delicious, not greasy and of great quality. Portion sizes are huge too. Although they aren’t online, it’s easy enough to phone through an order for collection or delivery. Highly recommend!

Ordered a banquet for 3 people, the ribs had leaked all over everything else which had to be wiped down before we could eat, the kids wouldn’t touch the soup far too much salt, ribs tasteless and very fatty, chicken and beef in the meals was very chewy, got given a free bottle of pop which was the nicest thing they gave us, won’t be going back again !

Went last week to celebrate a friends birthday. The lunches were excellent , service was really good and a comfortable place to enjoy a meal and very reasonably priced. Can highly recommend - will definitely visit again.

came for food as online says kitchen closes at 9pm, to be told kitchen is closed at 8pm spent about £20 on taxis to get to this place for not to be able to get what we came for. spent a lot of money in here in the past, very upset and will not be coming again. if it closes at 8pm update online the times you are open til.

Stopped there recently for a quick drink whilst travelling the East Lancs. I used the rear entry. My god I was horrified by the state of disrepair of the building. The whole place should be demolished and rebuilt. The window frames are rotten and falling to pieces and some of the windows have no glass. It's a disgrace that this unkempt dump should be serving food. I wouldn't eat anything there. They can spend money on their wacky warehouse but fail to maintain the building in a satisfactory condition. But the sad thing is they charge over £6 for a pint of Peroni as though the place is a premium establishment. Its nowhere near. This is like London prices in a shabby area of Merseyside and a shabby building. Who are Greene King trying to kid. With management like this it's no wonder tgat they are laying off so many people at Bury S E. Avoid at all costs. Even the parking lot is shabby and full of potholes etc. Close your wacky warehouse and refurbish the whole building to an acceptable standard. Keep driving past.
