Wow !! We are not vegetarians at all but could be converted with their chef!!! Food was beautifully presented and the spices and flavour amazing!! What an absolute gem of a restaurant so authentic!! Amazing lovely friendly staff !!! Thank you 🙏🙏🙏 We will be back

So much choice on the menu and all the dishes we had were very well prepared and presented. The food is delicious and even my non-vegetarian partner enjoyed everything and we’ll definitely be back.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant - vegetarian/vegan. The menu had a good range of choices for the more adventurous. We chose mushroom Korma with plain Rice, naan and onion bhaji. The korma was so tasty - we could choose the spiciness - the mild had a hint of heat (just enough for me). It was creamy and the mushrooms were very tasty. The staff were so lovely - fitting us in as we hadn’t booked. Everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend Mango for a visit.

Mango has an understated, casual feel tucked away in a quiet Wetherby street. The food was truly superb and one of the best curries and Indian food I've eaten. Service was good and very attentive. Would definitely recommend and will go again soon.

My only complaint is that when our mains arrived we had to wait for the rice to arrive But this was just a hiccup on our table as on tables next to us it all arrived at same time But the food was excellent and will be going back. The staff are a credit to the business and I hope the owner reads this and passes it onto the staff We did thank them on our way out, But getting it left in a review proves it. Thanks again.

Staff is very helpful very good. All the staff members are very kind. Atmosphere is also good but it’s all about staff. Their customer service is really good. Their greetings is also very well Hope the main staff also respect them and their work as well.

Home cooked, authentic and delicious. I had the lunch thali and not only was it a work of art, it was also full of flavour. The kids gobbled up their food and loved the mango lassi. Lovely service too, it’s slow, but it’s freshly prepared with care and hey, good things come to those who wait :-) Only critique is the prices are very high - could do with being 20% less, then I’d be back frequently (and it would probably be much busier).

My daughters, both vegans, decided we should go out to celebrate for my birthday, and I had the task of finding a suitable resteraunt. Having read some reviews for the Mango vegetarian resteraunt, I thought we should try it out. This turned out to be an excellent choice . On arrival, we were welcomed into a warm cosy resteraunt by friendly staff . We chose from the vegan menu, and we're not disappointed. The food was wonderfully tasty, I would recommend the Mango and will certainly visit again.

we went as a large group and were delighted to see the extra kitchen staff , a change since our latest visit, and this really made a difference. Food was as good as ever but arrived more promptly after ordering. had lovely dosa as always, goodrange of starters and perfectly pleasant white wine. very friendly and still Wetherby’s finest. one of are number is from India and rates this place better than any south indian restaurant in Leeds or surrounding area and I would agree with that.

Fantastic meal here for my fiancé's 30th. The staff where all very accomodating and considerate. The food was all delicious with no one having single bad word to say about anything. Thank you for everything, highly recommend!

Was driving home through Leeds, traffic was crawling with potentially two more hours at least of driving ahead of us, saw a sign for Wetherby and turned off because thirteen years ago I remember having had an amazing meal there at Mango. What great decision. Same family, now with their lovely daughter hosting too. The food is exquisite. Service is delightful. Won’t leave it thirteen years again. The food is fresh, cooked to order as you like it, and beautifully presented. I am a huge fan of South Asian cuisine and Mango is a great advert for its wonderful flavours.

Ate here last night for the first time. The food was superb and service excellent. Its great to support such a genuine family business and we will for sure return.

My wife recently placed a single order for takeout from Mango. While the quality of the food was ok but too sweet, I can't help but feel that the total cost of £32 before applying a 10% discount raises concerns. Especially when considering the seemingly meager portion of paneer priced at £17, which arrived in what I can only describe as the tiniest container I've ever encountered from a curry house. Additionally, the £5 charge for a pickle tray, £3 for two petite popadoms, £3.50 for a pair of chapatis, and an unexpected £4.50 for a roti that wasn't even part of our order. When I reached out to express my dissatisfaction, I found that the staff's response, while polite, didn't quite reflect a genuine interest in addressing my concerns as a valued customer. After my conversation with the manager, I decided to do a quick Google search for an A La Carte Indian takeaway in Kensington, London, to compare the pricing of a paneer curry. To my surprise, I found a restaurant offering a paneer curry for just £10.95, and they even boasted a Traveler's Choice award. I've attached a picture of the bill that shows a total of £32 before applying the 10% takeaway discount. This significant price difference has certainly given me pause for thought.

Simply outstanding food. Slightly slow service tonight - super-busy Friday evening - but everything was totally worth the wait. Delicious!

A wonderful evening. The food was delicious as always. We introduced two family members who wouldn't think of eating vegetarian!! But - guess what, they loved the food, and will definitely return on their next visit!

Relaxing catch up with friend, our second visit and just as good as the first time. The food is fresh, light and very tasty. The staff are polite and friendly and is reasonably priced, would definitely recommend.

This lovely little restaurant is too unique for Wetherby types. Please come to Leeds! The chaat platter was delightfully fresh and both textured and filling, worth sharing to sample everything. The vegan mango lassi is a must and the waiter was really pleasant. Wish I had gone straight from starter to pudding but was just too full.

I can't believe how long it's taken me to finally go to Mango. I've known about this place since it opened, and for some reason I've never been. My husband and I just visited for his birthday, and it was amazing, I get the hype. The staff were really nice and friendly, and the food was so so good. Full of flavour and, as someone who doesn't really enjoy meat, I appreciated not having to worry about what I would and wouldn't like! I recommend the sharing board to start as you get 4 options, so it's reasonably priced to get to try a variety of starters. The curries were so good as well. I think we'll be regulars from now on!

Well, being a carnivore I rarely eat at vegan or vegetarian restaurants, but glad my friends talked me into going to Mango's. The food was amazing, the flavours just cannot be put into words. So would recommend this to all meat eaters just for the experience, will it stop me being a carnivore no, but having a veggie meal like the ones at Mango is going to be a regular thing for me.

This restaurant is a wonderful place and no mistake. Every time we've visited we've been blown away with the food. The staff are super friendly too. Service was always attentive but never over done. The papadoms are the best I've had, full stop. I had the special aloo chat. Always. It's an amazingly tasty thing. The shared starter platter was also excellent. Mains were dosa pancakes. They're a mighty thing, and delicious. All in all, love it!!!

Fabulous meal served by friendly staff. We had the sharing platter for starters and we honestly could not decide which was our favourite. All the acompaniments were home made and super tasty. We both had the dosa which did not disappoint. Would highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed my visit to Mango. It's a very small restaurant serving an authentic Indian vegetarian menu. I specifically chose this restaurant as my wife is Coeliac (gluten free). The service and cooking was very good though I've only given it 4 star because the menu was very different to the normal Bengali style Indian food I'm more used to. Nevertheless, I would recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting something a bit different

Authentic family run home cooking. Another brilliant independent. The best part is they can do pretty much everything dairy free. For my lactose intolerant wife this makes ordering much easier.

I went to Mango's for the first time a few nights ago and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious, cooked to order and arrived quickly. The service was excellent. I will be returning!

Visited midweek as a group of 4. This is my second visit to Mango and still the nicest curry I've experienced. Please don't let the vegetarian menu out you off (as it did me a little before I visited). You won't be disappointed for a truely unique and delicious experience! I've been to Mango twice now and both times have been brilliant experiences. All the food that I've had has been 10/10, absolutely delicious and so fresh tasting! The team who run Mango are always so friendly and helpful. It's a wonderful place to eat and we'll definitely be back!

The staff were attentive, the food was amazing and the prices are reasonable. They also hold cookery classes, the food is proper authentic Indian food. I can’t recommend this place enough. I didn’t even notice it was a vegetarian restaurant until I’d left, the flavour makes up for it and you don’t notice it’s all meat free.

We visited for an impromtu dinner with friends and as ever, we weren't dissapointed. The food is fantastic, a great varied menu, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Mango is quickly becoming our 'go to' Indian.

Fresh, delicious, incredibly moreish. Some really interesting dishes that you won’t see in your standard Bangladeshi/Pakistani ‘Indian’ restaurant too. The service was also great. Not just good service but also genuinely warm and welcoming. We’ve been meaning to visit Mango for ages and am glad to say that the wait was worth it. I’m already looking forward to our next visit and only wish we lived closer! We’ll done team Mango, keep it up!

Simply the best Indian food you'll ever taste!

Delicious food. Used a separate fryer for my gluten free starter, and in general had excellent provision for coeliacs. Would highly recommend.

Lovely staff, lovely place, food was missing something, trying to be special but missing the mark. Had a lot better elsewhere on the market and cheaper restaurants. A little expensive for that missing ingredient. But it was recommended to us so what do we know.

We visited Mango last night, it was honestly the best Indian meal that we have experienced for a very long time. The fact that it was Vegan was amazing, and each dish was filled with so much authentic flavour, I would definitely recommend.
