Popped in today for a quick Sunday lunch. Food was plentiful and tasty. It was like having a home made roast without having to make it yourself. This place is always busy and does more than just carvery. Good breakfasts, steak nights and pizza nights. If you’re in the area pop along.

I use this cafe regularly and normally it is spot on, a nice fresh breakfast with decent quality ingredients but it does depend on who is staffing the place. The lady from March Meats is awesome and friendly but there is another lady who is abrupt and officious. Woe betide that you get there a minute after 12 because you're not getting a breakfast - lunch menu only. Even if you are the only one in the place

What a wonderful little gem in this litte village in cambridgeshire. My friend lynda who i have been friends with for 40 years booked a table for 1pm today for us all. We travelled from newmarket and it was well worth the petrol money. The staff were all polite ,friendly and welcoming. And as for the carvery well it was amazing. We had a piece of every meat and roast spuds yorkie pud ,pigs in blankets and stuffing and creamy leaks ,carrots, parsnips and cabbage and gravy and crackling. The plate was piled high and as my partner says its better to look at it instead of looking for it. Well done to every one who helped create our wonderful meal. Cant wait for us to try your steak night. X

The butchers is great if they haven't got what you want then they will get it for the next day for you , then in the restaurant side they cook great Sunday lunches but remember to book .

What an experience . First time I've been given, on a carvery, more than I can eat and everybody else .first class dinner . Cafe is a cafe and not a restaurant but it is clean , functional and pleasant . Being belong to a butchers you would expect first class meat but it is all first class . Pleasant staff who can't do enough for you . Looks like a shop from outside but give it a try . You will be back for more .

We were told good things about Cassano's unfortunately they didn't live up to expectation. £17 each for an over cooked Sunday roast and frozen veg isn't acceptable! You are offered 3 meats which were cooked OK as was the gravy the rest was rubbish, I can honestly say it was the worse cauliflower cheese I've ever had, army food is better and that's saying something! The place was packed all I can assume is that the people of March have really low taste. The owner is taking the Mick out of his customers and must be laughing all the way to the bank! At that price we were expecting it to be a bit up market but it was akin to a works canteen! We won't be back, I'd rather go hungry! There must be better in the area.
