Mala Malu in Nottingham

Love this place come every week, shots are great, milkshakes are delicous and the service is always exceptional. Highly recommend both in the day and on a night out.

Toilets 0/10 couldn't even lock the door, man opened a door on me sitting there + Looked like someone pissed the whole toilet. You can tell much about place from the state of their toilets.

I’ve visited here multiple times for milkshakes but only once so far for cocktails in the evening. Milkshakes are so good and very filling with lots of flavours. The cocktails are so good, as are the shots. Will visit again

This place looks cute, but took my daughter here for a milkshake for her bday and they were really not good, mine was too thick too sweet and v grainy and hers was quite bitter and full of chunks of sweets that just didn't work, for the price it was honestly v disappointing and the drinks were actually so bad we abandoned them after just a few sips. Not worth it at all.

I dropped into CookieShake last week as I have been meaning to try one of their Biscof milkshakes. All I can say is WOW! It did not disappoint! The service was also awesome and the members of staff were soooo accommodating! They even gave me an extra small milkshake with the remainder so as not to waste it! They claim that they do the best milkshakes in Nottingham and I would have to agree 100% with this very bold statement! I will be returning very, very soon! 🙂🙂

Came in here a couple weeks ago and I’ve checked the reviews to write about my experience and to no shock, I’ve had similar treatment from staff, specifically the brunette lady who gave dirty looks and overall seemed condescending when I ordered. However, when a different group ordered from her which were all boys, her behavior was a complete switch up. The attitude from her is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This isn't the first time people have commented on the attitude of staff. I used to love this place but now I just feel judged going in. Not a good environment at all

On a whim I came here with my daughter for a milkshake other than your standard McDonald’s We were overwhelmed by the hundreds of options they have, you will be stuck for choice as everything looks so good! The server was so polite and patient with our decisiveness, he recommended the kinda bueno for my daughter to which she absolutely loved. For me I got the lemon meringue, something I wouldn’t normally opt for but have been dreaming of since, so refreshing yet still satisfied that milkshake craving. Big thank you to Kieran for helping us out! The guy needs a raise for putting up with us 🙈 We will be back!

Used to looove this place! I don’t know if they’ve changed the milkshake recipe, it’s not as tasty as it used to be, seems thinner consistency too. Plus the staff are quite rude now, so it’s really put me off giving it another chance.

The cookie shots of phenomenal! Had the Kinder white, milky way and Diam bar shots as part of the £9.90 3 shots + dbl spirit mixer deal and they tasted bang on! Hats of to Steve and Sabina!

Been here a few times now and always had a shake - there are a wide, wide variety of selections (albeit I always have the same) and they are well made and satisfying. Unfortunately the attitude of the staff doesn't match - on the most recent occasion all three staff were stood around behind the bar just chatting whilst there were dirty tables. We ended up having to clean our own table as did several other customers as they arrived. Whilst the staff were pleasant enough to speak to they largely seemed disinterested and as if having to work was largely a hassle to them. This puts me off from returning again.

Delicious shooters all cake/Chocolate related and all very reasonable pricing.

The first thing to say about mala mala is that the staff are amazing. Super friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect for a quick cheeky drink or somewhere to relax and chill out. Good choice of drinks and cocktails. All at a fair price. Highly recommended venue.

Chilled out venue staff are friendly management seem opening and inviting

Been here many times and on previous times I have enjoyed myself, however today it was just a let down. Ordered a large milkshake to takeaway, and was overcharged for how much the prices were stated. Secondly the server who served us dropped our cup on the floor (didn't look the cleanest, but could be the aesthetic), and then proceed to use said cup for the drink rather than getting another. The drink then wasn't filled to the top like previous times. And lastly she tried to put the lid on and then gave up and just called it out, so when I tried to put the lid on the drink just spilt (so lost some of my shake). So when I mentioned it had spilt, she just seemed indifferent. The milkshakes are great, but the service today was just not what it has been (fyi not busy either).

Never been to the Mala Malu side of the venue, but Cookieshake is sooooo good. Been so many times and it’s always so tasty.

This was always my go to place throughout my teenagehood for a treat on the way to ngy youth club i popped in 2 weeks ago as i was craving a milkshake now that i turned vegan from being vegetarian since age of 14 i requested to try one of their vegan version flavours i tried the vegan milky bar and the taste was an absolute game changer and really delicious the customer service i received from this place has always been mint and efficient staff have always been direct and friendly and helpful when serving me they have any and all flavours you can imagine tailored to any dietary requirement what more can you ask for the best quality milkshake place of service in nottingham so grateful i found cookieshake and mala malu when i was a teenager i recommend for anyone to try out this place its the best place to go for a treat to quench and satisfy a sweet tooth rather than typical snacks and overall in general the only exciting general store and place that exists in nottingham that is special to me that i will always cherish and miss a lot when i leave nottingham thank you to this place a bunch with all my sincere appreciation for the mint service and for valuing me as a customer.

Love it here service is off the charts and they are so nice and fast with your order and the inside looks like a penthouse definitely recommend for a day out or a party or even a date
