200 Degrees Coffee Shop in Nottingham

The person who introduced himself as the manager came to my table 3 times in 20 minutes, saying that I had to order every 90 minutes, even though I had ordered coffee.

Checked in for a really good matcha latte (veg). Staff was nice and waiting times weren't too long despite the place being packed. Recommended:)

I visited here for the first time today with a friend who recommends and loves this place so much. From the get go I absolutely loved the decor and the vibe, and a really lovely member of staff named Rio helped us so much and was so generous and super kind with my order today. I bought some coffee beans which I cannot wait to try when I go back to Japan! I cannot recommend this place enough, it was so delicious!!! Thank you so much for an amazing day!!!

The gingerbread latte was much better than I expected. I much prefer 200 degrees to Costa and Starbucks. Worth the money. The carrot cake is so good as well. Craving it again now😆

Been meaning to come and get a drink for a while, glad we finally did! Smoothie was delicious as was the milkshake, and prices weren't outrageous. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Super friendly staff and possibly the best quartado ever had! To get a pattern on top of it also, even with oat milk, super impressed!

Went in for a simple decaf Americano, paid and took a seat. Wasn't very busy but I couldn't see much activity behind the counter or by the coffee making station. Caught the staff looking my way a couple of times but none seemed like they wanted to prepare my drink. After 25 minutes of this I decided to just leave as I didn't want to cause a scene.

Really disappointed. Unfortunately have to leave feedback as I’ve been a fan of 200 degrees from their original shop but the flat white I ordered was not up to their usual standards, bitter and sharp with no depth The service felt rushed as it took around 20 minutes to make (short staffed??) and the barista seemed stressed and annoyed when I said that the coffee wasn’t good but offered to remake it. The second cup was only marginally better. While I was waiting I noticed another customer was getting a drink remade and when the barista said sorry about that, their colleague imitated and mocked them. Really unprofessional

Honestly the nicest coffee I have had in a long time. It was like drinking silk. And the almond croissant I had was still slightly warm 😋 delicious

why offer table service if I have to get up. I ordered a coffee in a takeout cup as I wouldn't stay the whole time with my coffee, I am on my own working on my laptop . The coffee came without a lid and when I requested one I was pointed in the direction of where to get it- the waitress then got someone else's coffee from the same place and gave it to the table next to me. I came here based on the reviews of good table service once ordered. I beg to differ. Also I asked for my coffee extra hot- if you like luke warm, then come here

Great service and enjoyed sitting in the comfy seats at the back, but disappointed with the coffee we ordered. Both arrived at our table luke warm, however the waiter did make us fresh drinks. I have a heart condition and cannot tolerate caffeine so I asked for decaf, The drink I had definitely wasn’t decaf as within 30 minutes of drinking it I could feel the effects. My heart was racing and I had a job to get home as I was experiencing palpitations. This is quite serious for me. Won’t be visiting again if they cannot get a simple coffee right.

My first visit here - the coffee and cakes are lovely. Great service- they bring the order to your table and the staff are very friendly. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. Only criticism is that the doors were left open so it got quite chilly inside especially if you're sat up front. The cakes are a bit on the sweeter side aswell but perfect for sweet tooth cravings. Great place to meet up, or to bring your laptop along and work with coffee and snacks to fuel you up!

Really good coffee but the service is slow in the mornings. Having one person to take orders and make coffees isn’t enough. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

Average at best. Coffee was luke warm and had to wait 15 minutes for drinks when it wasn’t busy. Staff member on the till was rude and not very helpful. This place seems to be style over substance. Not one to recommend unfortunately.

Love 200s coffee. It's such a nice cafe, too. Service was very slow, though. Took 15 min for a cappuccino. No food ordered.

Really disappointed with the service received here. We were sat on a table drinking a latte and cappuccino and there's an A/C fan above us DRIPPING dirty water and it splashed into our latte. When I raised this issue with the staff, they refused to offer to swap the drink and only offered a 25% discount on another drink, so I still had to pay AGAIN for a new drink when it's blatantly not our fault. What issue is there in just making a new drink?? We couldn't drink it and bearly touched it with most of the latte untouched. It was contaminated with A/C water. What a disgusting service. Won't be returning and severely lacking in any customer service skills. He took the contaminated drink away, discussed it with a colleague and brought it back to us, like we were expected to keep drinking it...absolutely VILE! We were told the manager on shift at the time was Mikey when I asked for their name. I simply cannot understand how we weren't offered a new / fresh drink!!!!!

Really great coffee, I’ve been in a few times when I’ve been out shopping and whatnot. It’s a shame that the staff are always rushing around and looking tired, friendly greeting or not.

First time visiting this branch, was easy to order and they bring your drinks and food to you. It is always packed whenever I visit a 200 degrees shop, so many people with their laptops but aren't eating and drinking which does mean it is hard to find a seat. The drinks are always 100% though and it's really amazing quality.

Staff rushing about back and fourth constantly. Know its busy time of year but they look overworked af. In there most days and always the same

I used to be a regular at 200 before I moved out of city and was really excited to come back. But it seems something has happened to the staff, coffee was still good as always but whereas the staff used to be quite upbeat but now they seem quite stressed and tired. I have been in a few times since returning but seems this is the norm now. Pretty disappointing as the atmosphere has gone downhill :/

The place is understaffed and the staff is overworked. It was a nice place, but it looks like incompetent management messed it up.

I ordered my latte extra hot, it came deliciously hot smooth and creamy. A pastry on the side was a treat. The cafe was buzzing with a great atmosphere and table service once ordered. I sat at the window as I like to people watch and enjoyed 30mins relaxing. Great place to meet up.

Go here quite often. I usually order on the app and get it sent to my table as it’s easier to grab a table first. However on this occasion, the member of staff slammed my coffee down on the table with my laptop on it, spilling some of it on my laptop. Then as I looked up towards the staff at the coffee machine, they were all laughing and looking at me? I wasn’t rude to them at all and always polite when I go in as I work in a coffee shop myself. I didn’t say anything because it gave me anxiety and didn’t wanna cause a scene. Worse thing was, think it was either the supervisor or manager that did it. Imagine being bullied by staff in a coffee shop when you’re minding you’re own business 😅 terrible customer service and the coffee is better in the other shops, as they don’t burn your coffee

Great coffee. Decent food. Too many people on laptops with an empty cup from an hour ago, makes finding somewhere to sit for 20 minutes to have a bite to eat and a drink, really difficult.

A bit expensive but wouldn't stop me going again enjoyed it 👍👍.

Always busy but that's because it's so nice, we sat outside and they brought our food and drink out to us, would recommend a long black and the banana and chocolate bread.

I have been a regular customer to this branch since a year. The staff are not friendly at all but I thought okay as long as I get my coffee its fine, I will just mind my business and just sit in a table and enjoy my time. However, a month ago or so I got harassed by a man, he came and asked me if someone is setting in the other chair of table, I told him no because it didn’t cross my mind that he would sit down, but he sat down. I was shocked and told him he can’t sit here since I’m occupying this table. He told and so what? The chair is empty? I told him there are many empty tables I don’t feel comfortable please leave. He was so rude and just sat down. Then I just moved to another table, but some customer was nice and stood up for me and argued with that man, you can’t do that to her. Then he went to the staff and told them what happened, the other guy made a scene and rise his voice and was very rude then he just ordered his coffee. The staff literally literally did nothing, even tho there was a guy among them! And the man went again to his table. I felt very upset I couldn’t just focus on my laptop I felt like crying and I left. I don’t know what to call this, if I wasn’t hijabi would the staff have done the same thing? They were rude to me many times, that’s why I’m here to look at other’s people reviews in this branch if somebody else had the same experience. Yet it was just a very few comments. I’m not coming to this place. So disappointed..

Came with family from manchester but had a bad hot coffee which was cold .

We took 2 coffees and hot chocolate but they weren’t hot at all. They were just slightly warm.

I’ve been a regular customer here ever since it first opened but last week I was extremely upset by what I witnessed. A man in his 40’s forcefully sat down next to a young girl sitting alone at a table, despite her politely telling him she wants to be alone and that there were other tables available he could’ve sat at. He ignored her and sat down next to her and bless her, she got up and sat at another table. I stood up for her and told the guy it was not nice what he did and then went to inform management about it. Unfortunately management didn’t seem to do much about and allowed the guy to get along with his drink. I’m sorry but I can’t keep on supporting a place that enables such harassers and creeps to get away with intimidating women. I do really hope that they took some sort of action but until I hear otherwise I will not be their customer anymore. I write to them over a week ago and still heard nothing back.

Our favourite coffee shop, we don’t go to a town/city if there isn’t a 200 Degrees!! The Milton street one is our new favourite, easy access with the pram for our baby. Everyone is friendly, lovely chilled vibe. Could stay for hours on end people watching. Never had anything wrong with any 200 coffees, been a loyal customer since 2015. Thank you!

NOTTS CAFE REVIEW SERIES Good vibes, nice food, nice baristas but they add a lot of macha powder and I wasn't a fan of the turmeric coffee (it was nice to have that option though!) Overall I'd say go if you're looking for a relaxed nice experience and chat with friends.

Opening at 8am this place is perfect for me it has Good service and good coffee! It is clean and well layed out and very well decorated, my only criticism would be that the door was held open on what is a very busy street so the road noise ruined it for me a bit. Other than that it was great and i will definitely be back again.

Lent on a customer barrier and it more or less collapsed, and I could easily have gone backwards and smashed my head on the floor, and staff not really that bothered

200° walks the line between specialty and convenience perfectly with service you'd come to expect from bigger chains, but with taste that of a specialty independent. this has become my daily coffee shop for a before-work coffee, or, where I pickup fresh roasted coffee for espresso at home. the staff are always friendly, welcoming and lovely to chat to; Alex and Bel always remember my order too and are a welcome face when sleep deprived before work! couldn't recommend more highly:)

Nice coffee served within a few minutes. Tables were being cleaned quickly as well.

There of us went in for drinks. The black coffee was the only warm drink. The latte and hot chocolate were both lukewarm. When asked if our drinks were ok, we obviously said " no they are only just lukewarm." He just took my cup and walked off. Won't be going back.

The best coffee place in Nottingham - by a distance. The quality and consistency of the product makes it stand out. Never had a drink there that wasn't great. You know exactly what you're getting every time. The staff are brilliant too so why go elsewhere?

Good products Poor customer service When the waiter brought my coffe to the table, he asked me if I could move to a smaller tablet (which is understandable being alone...) but the only free table was next to the door and it was cold. I told him I was not comfortable there and he didnt make provide me with any other alternative (apart from the fact that the new table was cover with dirty napkins from the previous customer and he didnt even clean It up) Suggestions Close the door (it gets very cold and noisy... I have been to quite a few 200 stores, whilst they all serve great coffee, the service in some of the stores is a bit lacking. Fortunately, this one isn't one of them. I frequent the store regularly and always have brilliant and polite service, even during the busy periods.

The barista was so incredibly kind yesterday. Such a genuinely nice and caring person, best service I've had for a long time.

Love this place, dark and atmospheric! No big cups of coffee though, just standard but really v nice. Had espresso brownie which ranked amongst the best out there and a nibble of a sourdough fruit croissant which was gorgeous. Go if you aren't mega thirsty!!

It says on Google that you open at 9am on a Sunday but when I went earlier I was told that it's actually 10am. This is disappointing, could you please change this?

Coffee is just perfect! Temperature, texture, taste… amazing!

I’m shocked my the customer service in this place. We sat at the one of the few tables that were free (this was the fire place table) our drinks arrived yet there was nowhere to put it (as they did not clear the old pots - even though we were there for 10 min). While sitting there the red bright light from the fire started giving me a headache. The chairs are quite low and the bright light was right in our faces. I turned the light off at the (very accessible) switch for a few minutę just while we drank our coffees. The member of staff came and was more concerned about the light being off and was very belligerent that the light is their logo and it has to be on than if everything is ok. He was really rude and did not come with solutions, sarcastically said you can’t just turn all my lights off and that this light must stay on because it’s a logo. We then had to move, and he had to clear another table (because they hadn’t been proactive at clearing them). Imagine being more bothered about a lightbulb logo being on than about customers being happy. The next customers sat there also sat squinting and quickly left because of the bright neon fake fire too. A thought: maybe if the logo is so important don’t put seats at eye line directly in front of it!
