Mala Indian Kitchen & Bar in Tower Hamlets

Vivimos a cinco minutos a pie de este restaurante, pero esta fue nuestra primera visita. Empezamos con el dúo tandoori y las chuletas de cordero Adraki, ambas excelentes. Seguimos con el curry de langostino rey malabari (no es mi favorito, pero a mi esposa le encantó) , Punjabi bhindi, Saag bhaji, arroz pilau y naan. Lo disfruté mucho. El servicio fue excelente. Una carta de vinos muy pequeña pero suficiente

Mala Indian Kitchen & Bar en Canary Wharf hace honor a sus excelentes críticas. El excepcional pobre de langostinos era uno de nuestros favoritos. Cada plato era delicioso y muy bien presentado. El entorno sereno de la ribera del restaurante era precioso al atardecer. El servicio atento, lo hace destacar. El propietario Vinny aumenta el encanto al interactuar con los huéspedes, asegurando que todos se sientan como en casa. Mala es perfecto tanto para cenas informales como para ocasiones especiales.

Este fue nuestro restaurante indio de barrio durante nuestra estancia en Londres. Cuando hace buen tiempo, sentarse afuera con el Támesis en compañía puede ser bastante mágico. Los interiores son bastante limpios también. El propietario/anfitrión cuida de sus huéspedes personalmente, lo que es una gran ventaja. La cocina en vivo, el vibrante bar y la excelente música completan la experiencia gastronómica. Muy recomendable.

Tuvimos una cena maravillosa y muy sabrosa aquí! (Hace aproximadamente 2 semanas) No teníamos una reserva, pero el personal era muy servicial y tan atento! Nos sentimos en buenas manos! Los propietarios / gerentes que somos tan amables y nos felicitaron por nuestro embarazo y generosamente nos dio dos cócteles / cócteles en la casa! Muy impresionado con el servicio, y por supuesto la comida es muy deliciosa! Preciosas vistas para ver la puesta de sol sobre la ciudad y el río. Gracias Mala equipo para una noche encantadora!

Muy buena comida con mucho sabor, hermosas vistas, personal muy amable. 2a visita aquí. Sin duda merece la pena una visita si te gusta la comida india, con una diferencia. No te decepcionarás

Had a really enjoyable experience. The customer service I felt was incredible. They were there for everything. The food was delicious and with beautiful views.

Yummy smoky taste in food. Well cooked and spiced up. Wonderful and quite romantic location right at Thames. Serene place, a bit away from the crowded city.

Went with anticipation but food was tasteless, and quality ok. Would not recommend. Menu was dated....something from the 80/90s.

I have tried this venue 4 or 5 times since they opened (and once more, before, when based in St Katherine’s Dock). Location is nice with good views of the river and a lovely outdoor seating area (in summer). However, I find the food just average and therefore, bit pricey for what I eat. Service is just correct. Nothing specifically wrong but nothing particularly remarkable either so I don’t think I will be coming back.

Location is great and that is about it. Very average tasting food. Naan’s had part of tandoor clay stuck to the back and were sandy while eating. Apparently the chef said becaus they are cooked in tandoor that is how they are meant to be! Chilli chicken was half cooked and tasted raw. Cocktails were mediocre. 2 Vegan options on the entire menu! I do not think it is run by professionals. Very poor customer service. Would not go there again.

Ordered 4 dishes none of which we finished between the 3 of us. All dishes came with same watery mint side sauce lamb was smothered in a green paste with no taste , lamb was chewy . Chicken was slimy and wet inside no flavour , Naan bread garlic had zero garlic - we paid £130 for 3 incl £15 service fee which was laughable - equal to the very worst food I’ve had in London. Do not go if u hope to get Indian food , this is far far away …

We popped in for lunch just after Christmas and enjoyed a beautifully spiced Mushroom Bhajia Tawa Masala and a generous board of (tapas) Potatoe and Aubergine Thali! Delicious!

Just moved to the area and needed to find a new local Indian! I need look no further! Staff very friendly and attentive from the waiting staff to Vinnie the owner, cocktails were delicious, the food was amazing, freshly cooked and really tasty we had too many dishes between us to mention but everything was spot on! We finished our drinks downstairs in the bar area and got a complimentary dessert and shots from Vinnie, Thank you! A perfect end to a perfect evening, they have themselves a regular!

Birthday meal Food overall 7/10 Prawn puri 7/10 Chili cheese nan 8/10 Garlic nan 4/10 Butter chicken 8/10 Lamb shank 8/10 Can of soft drink was £4.50 Food was a bit over priced. @sheikh_babz

- The meal & customer service was 10/10 ✅ - The portion was exceptional ✅ And the location offered a spectacular view of the river Thames. A very well done to the restaurant owner, Vinnie and his colleagues. We absolutely enjoyed dining at Mala, for the first time. I would truly recommend it for intimate settings or if you are feeling to be fed and fulfilled ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is our first visit to Mala since it moved from St Kats and it didn’t disappoint. Delicious food, fabulous cocktails, great service and a beautiful view. I would highly recommend. Can’t fault this restaurant in any way and I am so glad the the quality of food has remained exceptional as it always was in St Kats. 5 star.

Popped in for a drink and snack . Polite staff . Nice cobra lager . We didn’t like the samosas as the filling was all mushy and not to our liking . Quite expensive.

Ghatiya. Butter chicken and pan we makhani made out of hienz tomato soup, dal was bitter in taste. The food is absolutely useless and will strongly recommend anyone not to go there if you any f about food. It’s just the location apart from that the food is absolutely useless in terms of taste and price as well. It’s tasteless, just mixing everything together with any timing in it, not fried , food very greasy, naans not well cooked etc. I have moved across the world but this is only taking advantage of peoples alignment towards Indian food and India. Can not be so much selfish at all in this world. Food is tasteless so either you can go there for a drink but food is at all avoidable. If the owner or anyone is reading this review I would suggest serving them dal makani made today to anyone coming to the hotel and ask for an honest review. It is over marinated and the butter has got sour due to which the dal is looking “khatti” . This is the most ghatiya food ever hand in my life and would request for a self introspection of the person preparing it and serving it. Could be some Youngsters who don’t know anything about food serve them as they would digest anything and everything of the world but this food is not at all edible.

The food here was very fresh and tasted delicious. Good menu choices and reasonable prices. Service was excellent and friendly. And great river views. Definitely worth visiting if you are looking for high quality Indian food in the Canary Wharf/Limehouse area.

Great lunch on a Sunday, good service, fantastic tasty food, will be returning. Need one to open in Wimbledon!
