Good portions. Tasty food and great service.

If you like Korma their Murgh (or Lamb) Nariyal Malai Curry (which is similar) is unique and really amazing.

Came here for lunch the other day for a business meeting and the venue was perfect. Good food good company and a very good hidden location. Locals should come here and try the place out they won’t be disappointed.

Great food and delivery was on time however they forgot a part of the order..requested a refund which was prompt so made up for the mishap.

Very good quality food and a nice place to sit in as it had good decor. The place was full of friendly staff aswell so will definitely recommend for families to visit for occasion or casual. Worth it!

A wonderful family friendly restaurant - even the kids enjoy the food here - the meat thali is a must. We have been several times as it is also a lovely place to eat with work colleagues. The food is very tasty, especially the biriyani and the salmon tikka. Will definitely be back again soon!

I have been coming to Lime for a number of years, the service is first class and the food is amazing. They regularly add new and exciting dishes to try and the ambience is very welcoming if you want to have a drink at the bar. Highly recommended

I came across Lime Bar after discovering the restaurant online. Must I say they do the best butter chicken I’ve ever tasted! You have to go there and try it! I was well looked after from start to finish. The prices was amazing for this day and age. 5 stars from me!

I haven’t been here for years and I wish I had returned sooner! Excellent service, with friendly attentive staff who looked after us during the entire meal and were very efficient. The food arrived promptly and was wonderful - nicely presented and with excellent flavour and served hot (which can be a rare occurrence at some places!) Lime Bar is absolutely a place I’m planning on returning to.

I would never suggest this restaurant to anyone since the service was so awful. The waiter Cashim (who wore the uniform a black shirt and pants) was really disrespectful and staring at us as if he was prepared to attack us. I had never had any experience with a waiter like this before in my life.

It was our first time at that restaurant, and a waiter named "Cashim" was nasty to us, acting as if we were dining for free, resulting in awful service, also the food was below average too. We need to wait for a long time for them to come and refill the water. Is that what you call "hospitality professionalism"? I would never recommend my friends to come here as they don't want to feel the same as I had experienced. Please, try to improvise your service from now on.

What can we say, it was our first time in that hotel, and a waiter named Cashim was rude to us, acting as if we were dining for free, poor service but wonderful food.

Food was amazing, prices were decent - really enjoyed the meal. Mixed starter was lovely chicken tikka cooked to perfection not dry! Listens to instructions will definitely be ordering again!

Excellent as always, but I see they no longer offer complimentary chutneys or mint sauce.

Amazing restaurant, very polite servers, the owner is very friendly. Food 10/10 decor, ambience 10/10 parking lol 8/10 Restaurant is situated in Manilla street E14 very close to Canary Wharf. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place to dine in, I normally order takeaways from here but to eat in, food is whole new level and not so expensive. Passion fruit mojito is my favourite. All of my family really enjoyed the hospitality received from this place. I will most definitely recommend this place for any occasions. Will be back soon lads, keep up the good work.!

The food was delicious and so inexpensive. One of the best meals I have had since being in London. When we arrived there was no one else in the dining area (a little after noon) so we were skeptical at best. The man who seated us didn't say a word and we assumed he didn't speak English. We were deciding on what dishes to order when he brought us over lunch menus. We ordered the mixed lunch platters. There was so much food. Each dish had was delicious (salad was just a salad, but otherwise...) and we had leftovers to takeaway for dinner. The meal ended with a chocolate and a warm washing rag. Highly recommend.

The mojitos are mocktails, fair warning. But they taste good. The food was good too.

I visited this Indian Restaurant recently. The food doesn't taste good, far far from Indian taste! Worse the quantity and cooking is also bad. I ordered vegetarian thali and it was quite bad. Stuffed Parantha had no stuffings Pls skip this restaurant if going for true Indian restaurant. PS: Bar and overall ambience is good but doesn't help.

The food was poor and bland. The naan was wet and humid, the curry was tasteless and was not authentic, and the rice was microwaved. On top of that, the food was very late.

Long overdue review but OMG what an amazing restaurant. Went in off the cuff as a tourist and they did not disappoint. From the second we walked in we were greeted by the owner shown to our seats and instantly made to feel welcome. Our waiter Sammie could not have been more helpful in his demeanour and knowledge of the menu his service was outstanding and the food matched it in every way. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend *****

Me and my partner ordered take away with my partner as we were craving Indian and we were in the area. Gotta say, I was pretty dissatisfied and disappointed in the food that arrived. Everything was way too sweet, the curry was sweet, the sauce given was sweet; it’s like everything was cooked with just sugar and not even a pinch of salt. The mixed platter was very mid, and I think the prawn was a bit burnt. Furthermore, the biriyani wasn’t as good as I expected it, frankly it didn’t even taste like biriyani. Have to admit, this was a waste of money that could have been used on something much more flavourful and tasteful had I known.

LIME is a great Indian Restaurant in Canary Wharf. The food is excellent as are all the staff. The boss is very accommodating, if you have a special request. They also have a great bar area. Highly recommended.

The food was fantastic the service was the same the waiter we had we fantastic also had a great knowledge of the food and was good dwith suggestions me and my partner couldn't fault it in any way and we didn't even have the best bit which is supposed to be the tandoori even the owner was very polite and friendly will defo be going back again .

Visited on the recommendation of a friend. We tried the hyderabadi biryani, chicken jalfrezi, mix grills, garlic naans. Highlight was the biryani. Very good food in general. And the waiter was very pleasant too.

Great food, generous portions and really helpful staff. I’ve tried loads of delivery curries round E1/E3/E14 and this is the one I keep coming back to. Exactly what I’m after, every time. Fantastic.

Good option for quick drinks and snacks. Went there to celebrate successful completion of a work project for a friend and really like it. The ambience is good, good snack options as well Not too crowded as well, and lovely service.

This is a nostalgic review for I have visited this restaurant maybe 100 times over the years. I remember when it opened with myself living in a nearby tower. The food, the decor, the ambiance, was entirely different level for the time. It was a tornado of fresh air that needed to sweep through the Indian restaurants in the area. Fusion! I eventually moved away but still make a point of stopping in when I am working in the area. I still particularly like the onion bahji’s, the tandori mixed grill, the tandoori butterfly prawns, the tandori lamb cutlets. The tikka, biriyani, curry’s and all the standard dishes are exceptional. I also love the round tables seated areas with their high backs which can comfortably fit five or six people in them, making them great for a fusion feast over a couple of drinks and a lot of laughs. Oh, and I don’t drink anymore but… I used to love the Irish coffees to round the night off.

Service was very bad and unprofessional. They don’t know how to do good behaviour with customers. Also the behaviour of owner was very rude. He was always besides of us.

My partner and I were on holiday and we were staying nearby. We walked by the restaurant and decided to go in. We were immediately greeted and discussed having takeaway. The gentleman behind the bar took care of us like we were old friends. My partner wasn’t keen on trying anything new, but our new friend showed him some options and we spoke about anything and everything for about an hour. It was such a lovely human experience that I hope many more get to enjoy! The food is phenomenal as well!

They have a wierd policy where you need to pay 75p if you want to have drinks and starters. They insist on getting 1 main-course per person. Secondly, the food does not taste Indian at all. The above photo is their so called 'Platter' which is 6 inches in diameter.

I ordered a lamb curry and was delivered chicken.

The manager is actually the rudest person there is, two times their delivery driver delivered to the wrong address & then manager accused me of lying about not opening the door to the driver. I had to go looking for the driver and he apologised for going to the wrong house, which made the food come 10-15 mins late both time, so i complained both times about the delivery time & the horrible manager. This time I tried ordering and the manager was so rude again, what’s wrong with him? How can someone be that rude for no reason? He doesn’t realise his delivery driver doesn’t have much of brain & isn’t good at directions hence why he orders to wrong addresses. & the manager is just a short tempered little man

Worst food ever, tried for being a so-called Indian restaurant. Inspite of asking for a proper Indian food i was served with sweet curries and for the namesake of indian spices it was just full of chillies. I won't ever recommend it to someone. Only 3 stars due to delivery

I stayed near this restaurant when I arrived in London. Fantastic service and manager. I’d say fresh authentic Indian food. And I was able to tailor the dishes also which was nice. Relaxed environment, all in all it was always a pleasure to go there. It became my local.

Lamb biryani was ok. mix grill ok but, the lamb chop was inedible, chewy and full of fat and the chicken curry was very very bad. Base sauce mixed with chicken pieces. Tasteless. Bland. You used red meat base sauce too! Only Caucasians would like the chicken curry, no offence. Just can't be bothered to complain any further...... sorry chef but I did ask for desi style.....

The food was good. Murgh Makhani didn't taste authentic but nevertheless it was still good. The Karahi Chicken was significantly better and it was a good treat.

We work all over the country and this place was recommended by a lad we work with in Liverpool...absolutely spot on, best Indian I've had for a while, I got Chicken Tikka Chilli Massala with lemon rice. It was flavoursome, the chicken was tender like someone actualy cared and pride was taken in how it was cooked and plenty of it. There was the right amount of peppers and onions, nothing worse than just getting chicken and sauce and on opening, you couldn't help but to immediately eat with your eyes!!! Other lad loved his meal, something I've never heard of but that was lovely as well...take a bow lads, exceptional!! A couple of scousers really happy with full bellies 👏👏👏

I ordered dinner online using Just Eat website. I had the following based on the reviews I read about the restaurant: 1- Hyderabadi Biryani, Chicken: the rice was OK. nothing special at all about it although the reviews says it is their best. I did not like the raw onion on top (Whenever I had Biryani it is usually served with crispy onion not raw but may be this is different recipe). As a matter of fact, the egg was OUT OF DATE!! this was horrible absolutely wrong and should not be happening. the moment I smelled the egg, I spitted out. 2- Tarka Daal: very salty daal coloured water and the few daal here and there with a couple of Chelies. Again, it was mostly water added to the Daal. I think they Poured a little of it in the take away container and added water and plenty of salt. Really bad. 3-Chicken Tikka Masala: surprisingly it was sweet. Unlike any other Tikka Masala I tried, this was not savoury as I like it. the chicken was covered with a bright red sweet sauce, No masala spices I can taste at all. but I can taste sweet coconut flavor and the bright red colour was so artificial. both Biryani and the Masala were so different from anything I tried in my life and I do not mean that in a good way. If I was in the restaurant, I would have returned the food back to the kitchen and left. I do not recommend this place to anyone especially for TAKE AWAY or ORDERING FROM HOME, such a waste of money. It is unfortunate that people write good reviews and post good pictures on Google when the reality is something completely different. Maybe it is because I ordered the food online and was not physically at the restaurant, so I was served the out of date food or that of a poor quality.

Just had an awful experience. I asked if the menu outside the entrance was the correct menu and I was told Yes by two staff. When I ordered I was charged a more expensive price than advertised, Mohim the manager advised this was the new menu price. When I asked why we were being charged more than was advertised he cancelled our order. Very disappointed and no doubt breaches trading standards too. We have had ok food before but our last order disappointingly oily and a bit tasteless.

Passed by this restaurant as my son and I were staying nearby. The restaurant was quiet for a Friday night so we were seated straight away. Staff were attentive and friendly, efficient and fast. Started with Poppadoms with chutneys and they were delicious and fresh. I had the Naga lamb which was spicy as advertised but not overpowering. My son has the chicken Jalfrezi, only comment I would make is the chicken 'strips' were not the best we've seen - maybe I'm not used to it. We shared an onion rice and garlic naan between us which was ample. Note there is a policy that you have to order one main each. drinks (330ml Fanta) about the norm for London @ around £2.65 each. Food was pretty good value. Overall impressed, impeccably clean and appeared to be well run. No added service charge, so free to tip if you wish - I only had a card and wasn't given the option to add when paying. Sorry guys ! Better than average without being exc optional. Whilst I wouldn't go out my way to revisit, it still gets a solid 4 and if I were in Canary Wharf again, which is fairly unlikely, I would happily go back

Disappointing First of all we waited 1h30 min to get delivered (and we are near Canary Wharf!). Then when the food finally arrived it was average. The food is rather sweet and tasteless. The restaurant was recommended on a Facebook page for Canary Wharf residents but seriously I have no idea why. Will not order there again.
