Makatcha in Camden

Realmente disfrutamos el almuerzo hoy, la comida era excepcionalmente buena. El tamaño de la porción era tan grande que tuve que quitarlo. El chef fue muy amable y vino a comprobar que estábamos contentos con la comida. Me encanta el hecho de que es halal. Tuve el Mee Goreng que recomiendo encarecidamente.

Fui a Curb West India Quay hoy para almorzar rápidamente. Había 3 clientes en línea y esperaron casi 20 minutos para que les sirvieran un curry precocinado. Sin reconocimiento o "lo siento por hacerte esperar". Cuando llega el curry 10, la caja pequeña está medio llena, 4 piezas de vegetales. Después de una espera ridícula mientras observaba a tres personas detrás del mostrador, una incluso revisaba su teléfono en lugar de servir. Lo siento por los otros vendedores de Curb porque cuando se trata de una larga caminata desde la mayoría de las oficinas y luego recibe un mal servicio como este, le impide volver a probar otros.

Visitamos Makatcha Bang Bang (Colindale) por primera vez hoy. Increíble rendang vegano y el brócoli quemado es para morirse. Porciones decentes para un total de 14. Recomendado.

Vivimos en el norte de Londres y venga a frenar regularmente. Comer a menudo de esta cabina en acera. No te creo que los turistas o estaban dándole a menos de la mitad de porciones de £8 para todo el mundo y no aceptar la tarjeta de Camden. Muy mal comportamiento. No sé por qué te sientes la necesidad de hacer eso? Una verdadera decepción.

Fui a la ventana emergente en el hall de comida bangbang mamparas en Colindale. Gran carne Rendang - enak sekali. Habiendo vivido en Indonesia más de 20 años fue increíble genial para un recordatorio de los sabores. Muy bonito también.

The Vegan Rendang will blow you away, even meat lovers. It is simply moreish, and the rendang flavour is spot on. The lady who served me was very friendly too. Highly recommended.

インドネシアンカレーのストール。チキンとビーフどちらも食べましたが、ココナッツがきいてて美味しかった。スパイスとココナッ ツが絡んで絶妙な味、スパイシー苦手なのでよかったです。長時間煮込んでるのか、お肉がホロホロ柔らかくて美味しかった。

I rarely do anything spur of the minute but was on London's Southbank and wanted to grab something quickly and chanced upon the Southbank Centre Food Market. Spoiled for choice I took a punt on the slow cooked Indonesian chicken curry from Makatcha and if it wasn't one of the best surprises I've had! It was, quite simply, stonkingy good! Rich, spicy and wonderfully moreish. For someone who adores coconut it has an amazingly punchy coconut flavour and I would happily eat it every day of the week. I will definitely be going back to try the beef and vegetarian options!

The best £8 I have ever spent on food at a music festival! I recommend and if I ever see them again I will be the first in that queue! I chose the vegan chickpea, spinach and garlic curry which was served in an eco friendly take out container, with carrots, chillies, cucumber and white rice. It was delicious, filling and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Plus the team at the stand seemed really into what they do and were really chatty which is a bonus. You can pay a lot more for some truly unappetising food at these places but Makatcha was an overdue and welcome surprise for my taste buds. I don't know if they'll be in Hyde Park for the rest of the British Summer Time Festivals but if they are you need to try it!
