Food fit for the bin! The only thing worse than the food is the appalling customer service! Never again!!

After a failed Uber delivery from Zia Ul who didn't turn up with my order! I rang MAK halal spoke to a very polite member of management about the issue even though it was not an issue from their side it was Uber delivery driver he happily said he will prepare a new order for me to collect. Thank you so much for the polite, kind and generous service!

Prices are DIABOLICAL. How can you have no shame charging customers £10.99 for one burger, particularly the flamak burgers, NOT even a meal? Sometimes they change this to buy one get one free on Uber, but even then it's NOT free if you're increasing the original prices. No longer available on Just Eat so have purposely inflated prices on Uber. It's not even a big size or anything special, literally ELEVEN POUNDS for a burger no fries or drink. Have some morals. Also charging £3.60 to make it a meal is delusional. Nothing justifies these prices but I think whoever sets them knows this as they've realised they can get away with it. Don't make customers pay for the cost of advertising yourself on Uber Eats. DO BETTER

Despite ordering food 20 minutes prior to our arrival on phone. We were kept on wait for other 20 minute food is OK bt service is poor

They should stick to burgers and fries..... I ordered the chicken parmo. It was easily this smallest parmo I have ever seen. They just can't make them. I am comparing them to the original parmo in Middlesbrough. Do not recommend... Try manjaros if you want a parmo.

Got the smoked smash burger. Not a fan of the smoked meat (turkey rashers) but after removing it from the burger it was a very good smash burger. Would go again.

Allhamdulillah one of the best burger joints I go to. The brothers at the shop allhamdulillah give A++ service.

Best food iv tasted I went twice Mexican burger is the best. Service on the til the man was really helpful, accepted my.scottish note which was great as alot shops refuse. The restaurant is really clean and washroom too is very clean.

Total rip off merchant.. charged me £9.50 for a burger that wasn't even worth £4..when I complainted the owner did nothing . He just said what's wrong with it and walked off. First and last time theyre getting my service. Do not recommend at all. Horrible horrible experience.

To be honest, the food of mak halal is too scrumptious 😋. Mostly ,I like the vegetarian food. Also, the staff is very cooperative. The price is very affordable. I recommend everybody come and enjoy the tasty food.

My experience at mak halal was absolute amazing , it is a perfect place to take your family for a quick meal. Burgers tasted amazing and the staff employees were very helpful when helping me when deciding to order my food. The overall rating is a 5⭐️

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨DO NOT BUY - AVOID - DO NOT BUY Believe every review calling their team liars. Manager and their team are incompetent and lie to make up for it. They make mistakes and purposely lie to cover it up and not solve the problems THEY caused. They also abuse and exploit the UberEats special offers by using them for exposure BUT THEY NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE ORDER. I wish I was joking but they're scumbags and scammers at this branch. Even threatened me because their ego couldn't take the fact they're abusing the marketing.

The onion rings in the Dulce burger were quite smaller than advertised and were sort of unnoticeable when it came to taste. But other than that, the burger was very filling and was there when I needed it.

Ordered a couple of Pizzas and few different burgers Pizza tasted lovely likewise the chicken flamak and beefburger...

I just pop in the restaurant. Staff is extremely rude and not helpful at all. I personally spoke with manager. No name badge and his behaviour was not acceptable. So disappointed. I will never return here again. Highly not recommending this restaurant.

I ordered a mix flamack but someone at the front has hearing problem and gave me a mexicano. I went back and told them that they gave me the wrong burger and I am allergic to the nachos hence why I ordered mix flamack. But they said that's tough and didn't change the burger. Will be telling a lot of people about this. Also they said they gave me my drink but didn't. Just a bunch of liars. Very bad experience in this alum rock branch

We went for a quick munch with people with learning difficulties and the staff were very good 👍 definitely recommend it

The worker was rude also was proved a lier as a worker u should accept ur mistake if u did so also if u are given the wrong food u should be heard and not act like it does nor botber u I am sorry but ur staff if rude and domt kmow how to treat customer also there where not cooperative with us they where extremely rude would not recommend it

I orderd sumthing spent £40 they gave me another food i went back to complain the staff ddnt do nothing about it had to feed mykids food what they ddnt like was there regular costomer but not enimore not happy

Went for a quick bite and was not disappointed. Ordered a chicken sizzler pizza, donner box and beef burger. All items were very tasty especially the donner box. Only downpoint was we requested no jalapeños on the pizza but they were still added. Place is quite clean and makes a change to go to a place where toilets are decent and has toilet rolls available. Overall a good experience.

The food looked so nice but sadly was bland and no one enjoyed there food we ended up having to order food from another place 👎

The sriracha hot wings, smashed beefburger and spicy chicken fillet burger were all beyond amazing. Good selection of drinks, sauces, nice booths. The only thing I would say is the fiery smashed burger was farr too spicy, and unrealistic to eat, we took out some of the chilli and also left the jalapenos.

I have ordered many times in store and never been disappointed I ordered from Uber eats the food came a whole hour early. My food was cold and soggy I rang the alum rock branch they refused to Coperate and said it wasn’t their problem basically. I believe the food was pre cooked and delivered which is awful. After many many attempts they agreed to give me fresh food.

It is as expected however, I'd say it's just too cold to sit comfortably and eat. Five burgers took 25 minutes to arrive, that's just long!

Tried it 1st time, and I was not disappointed. They have affordable and expensive items on their menu , so everyone can try something. I will visit them again for sure.

The donner box is a let down. They spread a small amount of donner on the top layer whilst 85% of the box is salad and fries. Spoke to the staff who said that's just how it is and were not willing to rectify it

Order large pizza. What i order not got that. Staff charging me extra to pay. I repeated my order twice. Also they refused to give me pizza. Wasted my time and fuel for that.

Go-to place for fries whenever we come to Birmingham, nice & hot and quick service.

I ordered food for £26 and thats wat i have received, when called they said there is nothing we can do about it. I m done with mak halal never again

Nice concept, the place was clean, the food was OK... But the burger patties are toooo dry and flavourless. Tasted like I was chewing cardboard! That was a little disappointing. The equivalent would be something like Mahmoods... their burgers are succulent, juicy and absolutely delicious! However, this place the burgers were dryyyyy!

I normally order from here today the food was not good at all I ordered a chicken fillet burger meal and the the chicken was all read from inside

My driver was late and my food was freezing cold, also the pizza was disgusting and had the wrong toppings. Burgers was nasty and cold and fries was hard and cold.

The service here was terrible as the staff are so rude. Placed a big order and was told my pizza was made earlier and was freezing. Disappointed to say the least.

Consistent lovely food every time I come here

Really low quality food, the beef in the beef burgers were over cooked and burnt, badly seasoned and the chicken fillet burger was basic however it was hard to bite into since the crumbs were rock hard. I had gotten food poisoning from these so I'm sure that their food hygiene is non existent and their bathrooms were filthy and the floors were wet to the point my toddlers slipped. Would not recommend coming here ever for pizza or burgers or even anything else. Assure yourself that you're probably eating rat droppings.

Food is great but service is really slow, ordered for collection on just eat twice now and i always had to wait an additional 20-30 mins over the collection time for my food to be done and other customers in the shop are the same for their orders

The burger was delicious I ordered fiery chicken byrger. A spicy kick to it and overall excellent and tasty. The fries were meh could have been better, but the burger was the main thing and that impressed so il give it 5*

Really good pizza and burger place. Very clean good decor and atmosphere. Proper pizza, thin base with good char. Really good value. Large pizza, two chips and a drink for under a tenner. Two of us well fed and happy.

Happened to be shopping in Birmingham so stopped by to eat with family as I’ve heard a lot about Mak Halal but sadly disappointed as the food was pretty average. Burger patties were dry and pizza was also extremely bland as if the toppings were just put on with no flavour. Nachos were decent though.

Halal food and amazing taste... had to wait 15 mins to get my order, such was the rush there...

Although the food is good, it’s way overpriced and my £7.50 burger looked like it had been kicked around the kitchen a few times before it came to me. If we are paying premium prices for burgers then please make sure they look premium or at least presentable.

Took my kids here for a quick bite as we came to do some shopping on alum rock road and it was delicious. Have ordered delivery from here many times before and have never been disappointed. Absolutely love the food. Thankyou Mak Halal for great food

Was in Birmingham today and just so happen to pass this place. First impressions - nice clean environment and friendly staff. Had the mixed grill sandwich which definitely did not disappoint. Was delicious - seemed to contain lovely moist cheese burger patties, grilled chicken pieces with a lovely salad and sauce accompaniment. Could say the chicken could have been more flavourful and chips weren't very impressive. Also had the medium chicken pizza which did not really pack much flavour but was good with the sauces. Sandwich alone I'd give a 9/10 however overall I will give probably a generous 4 star. Worth a try if you're in the area.

Lack of understanding when telling them about how you need your food due to allergies. Wouldn't recommend if you have coeliac disease only because they can't communicate otherwise food is good

Makhalal was great but due to it rapid expansion I guess, They raised there prices far higher than their competitors. The food is till good but other places locally offer the same MacDonald and burger king halal food for almost half the price

Bad service staff is unprofessional n non serious about their services the guy said 10 min for only chicken burger single not even meal n forgot about it n i had to go to counter after 15 min passed then he went back to check n took another 5 to 6 min to get it i was on break n my whole time got wasted i had eat in hurry by walking back to place n burnt my mouth won't recommend this shop other shops might be more serious don't know

Good value for Money. Nice and tidy.

It was so nice I had to do it twice - only the second visit had me dying. Idk if the standards dipped, but the food finna weren’t the same. Dip selection was garbage, the double cheeseburger meal was pretty pathetic and fries were unseasoned. For a btech, but halal McDonald’s, I expected more considering it’s formidable pricing. Take a leaf out of McDonald’s fries- perfection.

First time trying this place and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered a flamak burger can’t remember the exact name but it had 2 beef patties and turkey bacon. Daughters happy meal only had 3 nuggets which was a surprise but in their defence she only ate 2 😂 may be too small of a portion for some children. Improvements Fries were a bit cold and staff a bit disinterested. Would return again.

Terrible service can't ever get your order right and when you call up to tell them they missed half of your order they are rude and evasive, need to learn how to provide some customer service, no offer or replacing food or even a refund what a joke, thanks Mac halal for terrible service

First time tried this place, and what a proper burger they do, and pizza is also very tasty, with fresh toppings, I'd recommend this place to anyone

We ordered a veggie pizza, chicken Panini and beef+chicken burger. Overall, decent food, clean premises, very friendly staff. Car parking obviously a problem on that road! The sauces are also very nice. NOTE: CASH ONLY.

Was a 5star review. But this time chips were cold and burger taste was not the same as the last 2 times going. Also CASH ONLY. Come on 2022 out here who has cash on them. Had to walk to cash machine.

Their pizzas are exceptionally well and they have good customer service. I live nearby and usually placed an order over the phone for collection and never faced an issue. Well recommended

Bought loads of different burgers off the menu to try. Mac, Marrakech, double - food just taste average, nothing special. McDonald's chips are better and fat twins. The wait was extremely long, considering it wasn't busy. Staff at the till was very helpful with advising me what to order. Wish Halal mak all the best, but it wasn't for us.

Vile raw chicken!! Have had mak halal in various other branches and never had a problem. Today I took my kids to eat in the alum rock branch and although the taste wasn’t too bad the chicken was raw, you could literally see the bright red blood as you squeezed it. I took it back to the counter and they said it’s a cooked vein. Honey, I know what a cooked vein looks like and it’s certainly NOT bright red with blood oozing out. They didn’t even offer a refund!!! Edit- cannot reply to owners response so here it is. No a refund was NOT offered so stop lying to save your self from embarrassment, you asked if I would like another meal, and I rejected it. As if I’m gonna eat another meal after the first fiasco. Secondly I can’t stop vomiting, and you have single handedly put me off chicken. Thirdly, the blood was at one section of the panini and that happened to be towards the end, you really think I’m vomiting for fun? I even showed you the blood. You have a lack of decency, instead of owning up and admitting your mistake, you decide to act like I’m lying. But that’s fine I have photos and have informed relavant authorities. Thanks for the food poisoning and undercooking your meats I didn’t realise that’s the latest craze. Please be sure to come to makhalal for raw food everyone!!

Worst branch ever, food was late, ordered a family meal deal which included pizzas all they delivered were thr burgers and when I phone to complain they hang up the phone and almost £50 for 3 burgers!
