MAIZ Cocina Mexicana in Tower Hamlets

Another halal Mexican restaurant owned by asians, as usual the food does not taste Mexican, average decor & service.

The ambiance and interior was great, certainly what i would expect of a restaurant in London; the cocktails looked and tasted amazing however the food was a massive let down. To really improve, Boho Mexica needs to make fresh authentic food in line with its feel and ambiance. The Empanadas where over cooked and tasteless and the Enchilladas tasted like a freezer meal. Not good! The restaurant definitely has potential- shame about the food!

booked reservation online, confirmation email received. arrived and was told they do not serve food.... complete waste of time researching for a place to go what restaurant does not serve food. staff were rude would not recommend this place

Really enjoyed dining at Wahaca thanks to the £20 off voucher, we will def be returning! Shoutout to Pepe F who was a fantastic server - super friendly & attentive to allergen needs (which is always appreciated!)
