Maisie Thai Restaurant in Elmbridge

I’ve just had the most amazing party, with the canapés provided by Maisie Thai. These were the Mixed Starter, as well as the Bag of Gold and others, presented in a canapé format for 20 guests. The whole experience was attentive, personalised & reliable - fantastic! The team is an exceptional family, who combine enormous passion and integrity with total professionalism, and it was truly a joy to work with them for my party food. Huge thanks to Nok, and all her family, for such a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.

The food here is excllent. The starters and mains are great portion sizes and very tasty. Great Thai resturant.

I gotta say that the starters are very good and i really love the chicken one that I had(I don't remember the name) but I have to mention that this is my first Thai food experience and I really love it. The service was perfect and the main course was on point. Finally, I was stunned by the dessert. I mean the picture speaks. So you can have a lifetime experience trying that one.

To start with , the fish cakes were perfect. The seasonings and herbs blended together beautifully, making these some of the best fish cakes I've ever tried. Next came the fish and prawn dumplings which were equally impressive. The dumplings had a thin, tender wrapper encasing a flavorful mix of fish and plump shrimp. Every bite was a flavour burst. For my main course, I had the red curry, which had an incredible depth of flavor. The curry sauce was rich and creamy with just the right amount of heat. It was chock-full of vegetables along with tender chicken ,shrimp and veggies. The rice soaked up the flavorful sauce perfectly. To finish, I tried the mango sticky rice which was the ideal light, sweet ending to the meal. The fresh, ripe mango paired perfectly with the sweetened sticky rice. Everything from the food to the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, polite, and helpful in describing the dishes and making recommendations. I left feeling completely satisfied and excited to return again soon. This meal was worth every penny and more. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Thai cuisine and an amazing dining experience.

Must try the Mango Sticky Rice. Gonna be a regular here just for that!!

Some of the reviews seemed really positive but this seems to just be for eating in. The pad thai we ordered was dry and like it had been cooked hours ago. Very sweet abx rhe prawns are overcooked and tastless. The delivery driver was shouting on the phone for us to him come out and meet him on the street rather than come to the door, really weird behavior. Real shame as we were excited about trying this place.

Outstanding food, really great to eat in or get takeaway they always really well package the food so it stays fresh. Lots of lovely options at great prices, staff very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic evening to celebrate our anniversary. Being a Monday, the service was very rapid. The food was very good. Mixed starters tasty and good portion. Green curry was wonderful we are just back from Thailand and it was better than anything we tried there. Pad Thai not so good, stodgy and bland. Rice as should be. Then the sticky rice and mango served with coconut ice cream- wonderful. Best ever !

We ordered take away diner through uber delivery and was pleasantly surprised! Delicious food, full of flavour and taste, generous portion of seafood, very freshly cooked 👌🏻 Juicy coconut rice and softly cooked chicken with vegetables, would definitely recommend! Chicken green curry is my top of the list, Tom Yum Goong was super tasty too

I get takeaway from here at least once a week, the tofu yellow curry and pad Thai is my favourite here. You get the best prawn crackers from here

Great food, good service, surprising lack of customers for a Saturday night, which meant it was lacking in atmosphere. If busy, it looks like it would be a great place.

Was expecting the food to be good, but only ever eaten in. Got food delivered and it was really not good. Genuinely disappointed. I'm sure it's a delivery thing, but I can't understand how the food was so below standard just because it was delivered. Flavours were not pleasant, fish tasted a bit off.

Delivered late and cold by UberEats. After reheating, I wished I hadn't bothered. Chicken was strange texture. Not pleasant. Meal was very watery and totally lacking flavour or heat. The rice was just awful. Not recommended.

Extremely rude staff!!! Did not follow the instructions as mentioned while ordering. Received cold food at the table. Too overpriced. I have had really good Thai food around the area and this is not even close to it.

Disappointing. Food was ok but service was very slow. Main courses came out over about a 10 minute period - so you either had to wait while your food got cold or start and be nearly finished by the time the last person on the table was served. Kitchen clearly couldn't cope - possibly because they are trying to do takeaways too and can't manage those dining in as well. Expensive too. Not great.

Had afternoon meal at this restaurant in a large group celebrating a birthday. I am very used to Thai food and have eaten a wide range of dishes at a number of venues. This was my first and sadly my last visit however. I was told the Maisie mix platter starter was the one to go for but I found the food tasted bland like it was reheated. Not fresh. My mains course was the Sizzling Tiger meat and noodles however after an error with the order which was quickly rectified I found the meat to be overcooked and rather dry. 2 Other people had the same dish abnd felt the same as I did. We reported this to the waitress and she apologised but no further action was taken. The restaurant was not busy and usually I would have expected a personal touch for a birthday like a small cake at the end etc but nothing like this was done. I feel they just need to tighten everything up in all areas of the service. The staff looked very miserble all the time and didnt engage with us at all. Could be a really top place if they just remember a few touches here and there.

It was inconvenient because there were drink/dessert menus that were on the menu but could not be ordered, but the main dishes were all delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was quiet, pleasant, and nice. Was the bathroom newly built? Very clean haha

Cold on delivery. The saddest looking 'mixed platter'. Small portions which are overpriced. Most importantly the curries tasted like bowls of sugar syrup with a hint of Thai spices. So sad I spent my money and calories on this. There are better Thai restaurants/takeaways in the area

We ordered a takeaway on New Year’s Eve via Uber eats. An hour after ordering it was shown as being nearly at our house, then the order was suddenly cancelled! I called the restaurant who assured me the order had not left yet and was just about to go. So we waited another 40 minutes and nothing. Call back and get told our order was cancelled an hour ago. Absolutely appalling communication with no remorse or willing to rectify. No one has a clue what they they are doing It’s now 9.30 on NYE and it too late to order from anywhere else. Thanks for ruining our NYE Total inept restaurant avoid this place!

Absolute rip off. £43 for a tiny portion of curry, rice and a pad Thai. Wouldn’t even serve 3!

This was a really nice surprise, courtesy of the eat out to help out scheme. Normally our of our price range, but you get what you pay for. Food a cut above the usual Thai restaurants we go to, a really nice atmosphere in a converted Inn, and the people are so friendly. We've been back again, and really enjoy it.

I have to say although the food was nice and a decent sized portion, it was rather over-priced. Disappointed with the 'prawn' toast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Perfect service, beautiful food.

Went just before xmas. Starter served with a side of hair. Waiter apologized. Stupidly decided to stay. Main course hair was so big that my friend nearly vomited. Waiter tried to fob it off as my fault. Luckily i don't have long black hair. He kept trying to blame us then back tracked n said he had poor English. Suprised we didnt get food poisoning. Highly recommend AVOID

My nephew took me there and just as he'd said before hand, the starters and main course was deliciously out of this world. The different sauces particularly stood out for me. The service was first class. I hope to visit again with my friends soon.

The servings sizes from this restaurant are laughable. Take away containers are a third full and the rice servings tiny. Customer service poor when we rang to enquire. Very low value for money.

Just ordered delivery from there and the duck spring rolls were 100% off. The duck was absolutely vile and my pregnant wife and I had to spit the duck out and rinse our mouths. Inexcusable.

We had a nice time as a group and they have a good beer selection but unfortunately the restaurant was very short staffed, the Pad Thai tasted of tomato ketchup and had to be returned and the chicken in the green curry was not properly cooked/defrosted

Very nice, very accommodation -especially as there is a lounge area by the entrance, was good for baby to stretch her legs before the meal. A bit more expensive than my local thai, and no better.
