Actually the worst food I've had in a long while.

Not cheap but lovely food and excellent service

Helpful, knowledgeable & friendly staff, food was good and plenty full, draft curtains around the front door is an excellent idea at this time of year!

Passing through and popped in for lunch. We were only seeking a light lunch so opted for the winter vegetable soup each and a slice of quiche to share. Drinks were a sparkling water and a fizzy orange. The soup and quiche were very nice and the service was good. The only negative was the price. At £36, I felt that it was expensive considering what we had ordered. We were unaware of the cost until we paid as the items we purchased were not on the standard menu and had no prices displayed.

What a wonderful place to eat. First impressions count and the place itself is beautifully decorated and furnished. The staff are friendly and kind and the food...well.... absolutely delicious. I had the mushroom puccia with a poached egg on top. It was stunning. The place gets an extra thumbs up as the toilets are beautifully decorated, and super clean. The owners of Main Street Kitchen obviously have poured their love into this place and you can tell. Would recommend a visit and I will certainly return with my friends.

We came before visiting a local farm to walk with Alpacas. Arrived at 10 as soon as they opened. Absolutely beautifully decorated, very tasteful! Even the loo! Spotlessly clean too. Staff were warm, friendly, attentive and professional. I had the cooked breakfast. Cooked exactly how I'd asked. Food was delicious. I will definitely be back. Really enjoyed it. Thank you 😊

3 prawns in a prawn pasta dish - cost £17!!! Sticky toffee pudding was dry. Expensive but of pasta

Simply superb! Always so welcoming, I went in for a take away when they were busy and it was no problem at all, even just to grab a take away coffee! The food is lovely the atmosphere is fab, my new favourite place

Last minute Friday CBA to cook. Headed into a warm evening in Frodsham and looking where to eat at 20:00. Really glad Artisan Green didn't have any tables as we crossed over to Main Street Kitchen. We had Natchos for 2, a Goats Cheese Salad and a Pizza with African Sausage, washed down with a couple of beers and a cocktail. Really great, fresh food, lovely space and good service and the owner popped over and sat down and had a chat. Now definitely my go to place in Frodsham for a meal, unless I *need* a curry.

We both had pizza's when we went to Main Street Kitchen, and they were so delicious! Both were beautifully presented with a cute pizza knife to make cutting easier. Our pizzas were like a pizza from the adverts on television as we had loads of stretchy cheese strings when we bit into a slice. We also had two cokes, one coffee, and two white chocolate and lime cheesecake, which was incredible....YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! This came to a reasonable ~£54. On top of this, staff were so lovely, friendly, and couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommend!

Really pleasant evening, food was delicious and fresh. The brownie was extra tasty.

I reserved a table and upon entering the Main Street kitchen myself and my family were greeted warmly, we were given the option to sit outside due to the warm weather. Our food was served hot, we each had a pizza, my grandson chose the children’s menu. All the staff were pleasant and courteous, the food was great. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Lots of different food options, the Salmon Blini starter was amazing! Staff were really friendly and prices were fair. Had a great time!

My family and I visited this evening and even though there was a wine tasting and we were driving so we couldn’t really participate (even though the menu sounded great) ,the staff accommodated us straight away and we had a fantastic evening. Thank you we will be back

Burns Night ! Food is spot on and great atmosphere, had an amazing evening out @ (86) Main Street Kitchen in Frodsham! Will definitely be returning and would recommend giving them a visit.

I've been looking forward to going to Main Street Kitchen for a long time and managed to secure a table last week to sample their pizza's. I found my ham and pineapple pizza and it was tasty. Nice atmosphere, nice staff and nice pizza. 👍

You may think..."nowt special about a cheese and ham toastie with some poached eggs". That's until these girls n guys serve you up a MAIN ST version. Jamie, James, Gordon, Raymond.....eat your Michelin starred hearts out!!! Oh, and served with an Americano brewed by the Gods.

Lovely atmosphere very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. A couple of us arrived early so enjoyed an apperitivo to toast my friend's upcoming 55th wedding anniversary. Great Bellinis! The owner took our order and he came back to check whether we were enjoying his recommendations which we appreciated. The Rosé was very fruity, the starter of chorizo in sherry & fennel so tasty and very fresh bread to mop up the juices. The pappardelle in the special cheese sauce tasted almost buttery and was complimented by the smoked chicken ham and mushrooms which added real depth of flavour. The chenin blanc was a great choice. Just had room for a hazlenut cannoli double espresso and a Cointreau which finished off the meal to a tee. Had a great catch up with friends before their imminent holidays. Felt really relaxed not rushed between courses and we even had a look at the garden for when the weather gets warmer in the evening deciding to book a table for next month so we can hear about the holiday adventures and hopefully celebrate a Liverpool victory!

This is a great place for good pizza and pasta. Service is friend and good, the surroundings are really nicely done, simple in some ways but with nice bits of style. My only real wish would be for a slightly larger selection of pasta dishes. In summary not a large menu, but what they do is very good.

Hadn't pre-booked, but seated straight away. Service was excellent and the food fantastic. Will definitely visit again. 🙂

Fabulous place. Lovely decor and ambience. Great staff who are really friendly and welcoming. Initially went in for coffee to check out the place and the menu. Coffee was lovely and menu looked interesting so went in the following day and tried the pizzas. They didn't disappoint. Freshly made and delicious. Definitely somewhere I will be going back to.

Good food, nice environment, but a little pricey .

Delicious Food - even if you do not want pizza - the warm goat's cheese salad was absolutely divine. I particularly liked the fact that i could taste that the beetroot had been 'homecooked', so i checked with the owner and he said they roasted all their own vegetables on-site. I love it when a restaurant has the foresight to concentrate on delivering a complete sensory experience!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Impeccably clean. The pizza was delicious, tasty light and fluffy. The service was excellent and very friendly. They kindly boxed up my son's pizza as we had to catch the train. Thoroughly recommend and we are looking forward to our next visit. Angela and Michael.

Lovely place with wonderful coffee on a very rainy morning

Great place, what a find right on the Main street. We went for breakfast and had bacon sandwiches. The difference was that the bread is pizza dough which made it really tasty! The coffee was good too and the staff were lovely.

Brunch for mum, dad and Teen. Nice ambience on a wer and dreary day, attentive, but not overbearing staff. The Menfolk went for the open sandwich with ham, cheese and poached egg. I had the bacon sandwich with an additional poached egg. I don't know how they make their bread, but it's flipping delicious. Simple food, served well.

Oh my gosh this was amazing. Delicious food, yummy drinks and oh the pudding. Oh wow I had a beautiful salami, pizza with goats cheese and Spinach oh wow the crispy edges, with a soft centre perfect to mop up sauce and the oil from the meat and cheese. Oh I was in heaven. The lemon possets were so fresh and creamy. Utterly perfect. I really REALLY recommend the house red wine, so yummy and so easily drinkable. I'd call in for wine and bar snacks any day of the week with my friends. The pizza is definitely a treat. As for the staff. Gosh they could not have done more for us. They were curious, kind, attentive and good humoured and put up with us a loud group. If I could I would go back in a heart beat tomorrow. And I can't wait for when I can Guys thank you so so much x

Had lunch here today and it was superb from beginning to end. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Great choice of pizza and pasta options. We had the Arabiatta pasta which had a lovely kick of chilli and garlic and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The chef also made garlic and mozzarella pizza bread which wasn't on the menu (it should be!). Not cheap, but certainly good value. Highly recommended

I want to be careful with this review, Main Street Kitchen has been open a while now and I am aware that it has proved popular and my wife and I had felt we needed to go following various positive comments from friends. Ultimately though we, ourselves, were a bit disappointed. Let's start with the positives the layout is very nice, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere good. The service was speedy but we were there early Saturday evening so not at its busiest. I will be honest though I have never been particularly inspired by the menu, the food sounds nice but nothing has really leapt out at me. We ordered a sharing starter of bread cured meat olives etc and that was nice. For mains I had pasta but the others had pizza again it was nice but we all felt something could have been a little better. My pasta was quite oily, the pizzas could have had a little more sauce. In other words my view of the menu proved correct. The food was okay but wouldn't have me planning a return visit soon. The major issue was the cost which I felt did suggest that there should have been more to the food, it seemed expensive for what we got- hence the three stars.

Food way okay. The desserts were lovely, but I had high expectations of the pizza and it came out a bit watery so all the toppings kept slidding off the dough. However can't fault friendliness off the staff.

Well presented pizza restaurant with a good menu. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Have been twice now and will definitely visit again.

Was passing thru the town and wanted a coffee and a pastry. Tried the Main Street Kitchen. Fantastic coffee and the choc brownie heated is amazing. The owner told me everything is cooked onsite and he is focused on buying the best ingredients. I hope this place does well.

Saturday lunch and peak time for diners on the high Street. We tried a few eateries but they had no availability, so in hindsight it should have been a warning as to why this venue was pretty empty. The food was, in my experience, overpriced. Pizzas- ok although very small. The caesar salad at £12, was served in a small bowl with literally a few thin slices of chicken. The dressing was quite nice although it had no anchovies in! So not quite a true caesar dressing either. They also don't sell bottled water which I found very strange. Service was lacklustre but was expected given the 2 young lads at front of house looked like they had been thrown in the deep end. Overall a disappointing visit.

The staff are wonderful here! We had early dinner and my two discerning companions said this was their favourite place to eat in Frodsham and that the pizza was delicious but not as good as the smartie topped ice cream!

Food is great. Staff friendly. Do they never answer the phone. Made several calls today and left a message on the answerphone to no avail. Customer lost.

Great pizzas and crudités. Garlic bread is good too. Recommended for lunchtime.

Amazing addition to the town, delicious pizzas, yummy lunches and very well decorated. as much produce as possible is sourced locally, we can't wait to supply local pumpkins at Halloween. And it's in the old bank building so they have kept the vault door as a feature which looks amazing. Will be back many times to support this great business
