Cherie’s was brilliant, look after a group of old rugby players with great professionalism, would recommend her to anyone visiting the Magpies.

Great local pub near to Liverpool St Station.

Had a nice day out and decided to visit Magpie for lunch. Loved their mushroom pie. 5 stars. And my server Juste was really helpful with recomendations.

I visit this place during my vacation and loved it. Felix was amazing and I loved all the tips he gave me! It's a place to come back to.

First time here in a long time, staff were great especially Dave. Back in after awhile still a great place for a pint on my way home, Dave is still there and still a top bloke

Had a nice hallumi sandwich for lunch and couple pints. Overall, would recomend visiting.

Went to this corner pub on a whim for a quick pint, didn’t expect much however the service and atmosphere was great for a small corner pub. The bar stuff were great in particular a young man named Felix who was very helpful and kind! Would definitely recommend

Been to the Magpie previously for their great selection of ales. This tome, I won a free meal through an Instagram competition and we were not disappointed. Great service, friendly staff . I had the vegetarian pie, different flavours and bery tasty, my wife had the chicken schnitzel which was succulent and perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend

Came in earlier today (monday) had a beer. Locals are friendly and welcoming as are the staff. We returned after some sightseeing to be welcomed again by the lovely bar staff. Beer was very nice, absolutely came from crystal clear pipes. We'll certainly visit this establishment again. Thanks to Abbey and Mauro for their hospitality and pleasant conversations. 🥰🥰

Great pub. Drinks prices aren’t bad at all for London. We didn’t eat here but had a few beers and it was great.

Nice standard pub with standing space outside (plus heaters). I suspect this is carnage in the summer but recommended if you are liverpool street and fancy a swift pint.

Popped in for a mid-afternoon pie and pint before catching the train home at Liverpool St station. Small traditional London pub off Bishopsgate, friendly staff and good beer and food, reasonably priced for London. Enjoyed the Nicholsons/St Austell brewery pale ale.

Excellent service and excellent staff especially from a team member from Felix. Would definitely recommend. We ate the fish and chips and the steak pie and it was amazing so credit to the kitchen staff too.

Went here for pints and dinner with the wife. Good traditional English pub. Had local ales and the steak & ale pie. Enjoyed it. Gets quite busy in the evenings.

Meh. Ok pints but crap service and disgusting loos Edit service is ok but despite the refurb loos are still dirty. God knows what the kitchens / cellars are like if they foh looks that bad. Edit Feb. Good boozer but still mining loos

Shouldn't really post this as it's a smallish pub and it can be very busy and I wouldn't want it even more busy, but great staff, great food and a nice relaxing atmosphere

Not a huge beer selection, but well served by friendly staff. Worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy a pint.

Came here for a drink after work with some colleagues and the atmosphere was buzzing, great bar staff and overall vibes. Would recommend for an after work pint or stopping in new to the city of London

Great pub with good beer. Good private area upstairs also.

Staff serving youngsters JD/Vodka cokes who clearly had way too much of the same in previous pubs, causing one of them to spend 35 mins in the toilet throwing up at 3pm. All this made even more cringe by the armed police car parked outside watching these youngsters waiting outside for their friend with his head down the toilet. A surreal but entertaining clown show.

It looked like a nice pub staff were friendly and welcoming. While I was there staff served a group of youngsters who looked quite intoxicated who ordered doubles while challenging each other who could drink the fastest. One of these youngsters was unable to hold their drink and spent at least 30 mins in the toilet with their friends waiting outside the pub. Staff didn't seem to care

I hired the upstairs function room for my retirement do, and so glad I did. It holds up to 50 people, and whilst I never had that number here all at once, there was enough room for everyone to move round comfortably. The staff were friendly, engaging and all round excellent....in fact they really enhanced the experience. There is a full selection of drinks available - unlike function rooms in other places - with two staff serving....ensuring no one was waiting around to be served. The food was good too - something others commented on as well. In summary, I'm so glad I chose The Magpie Thank you

We had a re-union and met for lunch. The food was excellent, I recommend the fish and chips. The service was very good. We stayed for 4 and half hours. Very enjoyable.
