We visited here for a Father’s Day lunch. Luckily we could just walk-in, as we hadn’t actually booked a table. The cheese toasties that we had were so good. They were so buttery and crispy. The sweet treats were also amazing. I had a kinder bueno cookie which I very much enjoyed! The only negative about this place was that it felt quite dark inside. Obviously it’s a barn, but it felt very enclosed not having any windows or another door to see outside. It looked as though they were building an outdoor area when we visited, so it would be nice to go back in the summer.

Great stop off for a cuppa and snack. Excellent selection of cakes and savory pies. Nothing too much trouble. Nice clean comfortable environment.

Sausage rolls, cakes and cuppas were excellent, as was the service. Friendly and welcoming. But do not trust your satnav on the postcode!

A lovely place to visit, food was beautiful, I had a cheese toasty so filling. Loved the teapot and little milk bottle on the wooden tray.

Such a lovely little place with friendly and accommodating staff. We were really hoping for a milkshake and despite the fact it’s not on the menu during the colder months they were more than happy to go out of their way to make two delicious milkshakes, one strawberry and one raspberry and white chocolate. Both were delicious . We will be back again . Thank you

The entrance is very inviting which lures you in. Such a great selection of fresh, local and also unusual foods. We didn’t realise there was a seating area outside at the back until the end which was a lovely surprise to sit and have cake in the sun (any excuse) - we were all happy, full and satisfied with lovely food in our bellies and with a bag of goodies to take back away with us

Best breakfast I have had in a long time and I have quite a few!! It is hard to beat Rick Steins breakfast but I have to say as breakfasts go this is up there!! Hot plates!! Old school catering at its best. The ladies were lovely. It is a bit rough and ready in the cafe but that’s what gives it character. Food was all piping hot so you could take your time eating it. Not like most places trying to be something they are defo not!! Lovely!! X

It still doesn't explain why the staff were rude and miserable,. even before the said incident! Your staff definitely need to learn a few social skills!! And I don't need to read your rules!! I am quite aware of them. But do object to staff coming over a wagging her finger at my daughter and the drink in question was mine and I am 67 years old. !!

Terrific friendly caffe with good selection of food for take away and sit-in at sensible fees. Always welcoming with a smile, the Australian manager is great finding time however busy to greet and chat with regular customers and deliver excellent service to new as well. Highly recommended.
