The service is very friendly and social the food is amazingly delicious and the atmosphere is decent and religious and also I'm gonna add that when I was ordering I asked what is the text above me and then they look up and went to the kitchen an asked what was that and then they just said it but I forgot what it was but that's kinda uhm....anyways its an excellent restaurant.

Best takeaway Chinese in Newcastle bar none...food is tasty and fresh and I've never ever had a bad meal.from here. Walker resident for 40 yrs and its the only Chinese I have reviewed as the rest simply aren't up to scratch in comparison

My local chinese take away, and my favourite in newcastle. The shrimp fried rice and curry sauce are amazing. Good size portions.

Every now and again you come across an establishment which is superb. This is one of these. Flavours were glorious. I must also express how great the counter girl was. She was so lovely, which complimented the take away. 5 stars from me.

I always order from this restaurant .you honestly couldn’t get better food. Tastes great. Fantastic service. I ordered the Manchy box with house special chow main. In all the years I’ve ordered from here I have not once had a bad word to say about their food.

Always enjoyed food from Magic Wok however recently portions are poor. Got King prawn chicken chow mein, it was embarrassing 4 prawns and slivers of chicken. Not sure if a one off. However don't think so as got gravy in chips tonight n it came in a very small container for £3.10 such poor value now. It's put me off returning

I must say the wok is very magical. Very magical indeed. It is the best tasting Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life, I don’t know what type of magical spell they have casted on their wok but it is a taste of heaven.

Amazing food but order was wrong 3 times in a row. When rang was told I had to wait 40 minutes. Then popped in again by chance and asked for large curry with chips, £4.20 was charged and my 9 year old would of eat this for breakfast. Definitely not large curry and chips. Really disappointed with the services recently as this place is normally really good. But I've now washed my hands.

Got house special chow mein tonight 5 pieces of dry chicken 2 pieces of shrivelled burnt char su & 2 prawns!! House special? Not at all, thought we had found a decent chinese takeaway but this was shocking!

Food was vile sweetcorn soup was like water noodles was like plastic to much salt in all the food wont be ordering again

Love Magic Wok and the house special chow mien is beautiful.....also the mixed grill is faboh and curry king prawn too....the list goes on lol a long established

It used to be one of my family's favourite Chinese take away however think it had went bit downhill the curry was very very hot nd staff not as friendly as possible but maybe wer having a bad day

Went here once found a massive black hair in the food and they insited there wasn't and the cook came around from the back and pulled the hair out infront of customers who were horrified certinatly wouldnt reconmend to anyone food hygiene is poor.

Magic Wok has been our 'go-to' Chinese take away for many years. That is because 1. The food is delicious 2. The staff are happy to mix and match and 3. On the single occasion our order was incomplete they immediately and without suspicion sent us the missing meal.

Pretty good.few mishaps.some of the order was missing now on 3 different ocassions.and their prices are rapidly going up.
