I am from Singapore and I wanted to eat Hor Fun and Kway Teow, dishes you get in Singapore hawker stall. I spoke to the lady and asked her if they could make it for me even though it was not on their menu. I told them all I wanted in the noodles were, prawn,eggs,vegetable with extra chillis. It was made exactly how I requested it. When I ate it. I was transported home to Singapore, it was so delicious. So authentic Singapore style noodles. If you are a Malaysian or Singaporean looking for taste of home, this is the place to go to. You will not regret it.

Best Chinese Takeaway in South England. EVERYTHING is cooked fresh, vegetables are amazing, food tastes great, never had less than awesome in the 5 years we've been going. Better quality than most restaurants.

I love this takeaway, best Chinese in Reading, lovely food, lovely staff, I order roughly ever 2 months and they know its me on the phone just by my order. Try the Ribs, Szechuan Beef is incredible too!

Have problems finding delivery drivers therefore wait 80 minutes from phone call to delivery. Unfortunately young lady that delivered our food was extremely unapologetic and rude! I will avoid in future!

The food here is absolutely fantastic and every person who I've ever spoken to, or have had my food delivered by is just so lovely. It genuinely makes me happy every time I call up for an order as they are so nice and friendly. It also helps that if I forget something I am reminded by the lady on the phone if I've left any of our 'usuals' out. Never had a bad dish, always delivered within the time given and just such a gem of a take away. Every time I've ordered for friends and/or family, they comment on how much better the quality of the food and the flavour is than their 'local'

The staff are real nice people. I'm a very fussy eater and tend to complain a lot, only ever had to once and it was very quickly resolved. Also tend to ask for unusual changes in the menu, they try hard to please. Not a palace to look at but the food is cheap and very good. Personally don't like the chips, my family say they are fine.

Magic Wok is Chinese takeaway at its best. Yes, its cheap, which would make you think its not going to be a great meal, but no, its absolutely delicious. As the previous review states, they have no problem with you asking to omit an ingredient, its always freshly cooked and the flavours are perfect. For a great priced delivered meal you really cant go wrong with this most Magic of Woks. I highly recommend the Chow Mein and the duck. Hell the whole menu is one highlight of taste after the other! You'll be spoilt for choice!

I'm surprised that Magic Wok hasn't been listed before now. We love Magic Wok, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious too. For around the £20 mark, you can get a starter of their moreish Spring Rolls, Two mains including their tasty Mixed Meat curry, rice and chips. If you don't fancy something in the main dish, ask for it to be removed- they have no problem with this at all. All in all, a good little take away

Been coming here for years despite living in Wargrave.. It's the best Chinese takeaway around Reading that we've found. Food is always spot on, always cooked fresh and the most reasonably priced Chinese out of all that we tried. I can't recommend this place enough.

The food was priced competitively before but recently they increased prices across the menu and reduced the time they open to till late, I would check happy garden b4 you buy as they might be cheaper
