Drinks were good, Chloe was helpful and kind and we had a really nice time and we found a nice new drink recommended by the bartender

Drinks were nice, Chloe was kind and drinks were cheap Accidentally bumped the table and she provided napkins almost immediately

Very cheap, but you get what you pay for. Went for Sunday dinner, granted it was 5pm but no beef or turkey, just chicken available. Fine let's go with that, only a tenner with a drink. What arrived was not fit to eat. A rubbery chicken breast, under cooked veg (carrot was raw), burnt roast potatoes and no idea what the brown mash was supposed to be. Super Yorkshire pud. Staff were very good, they brought new veg out, unfortunately it was more under cooked than the original. Offered free puds, but had been put off eating so one meal refunded and off to th chip shop. Stick to burger and chips. Good staff mean 2 stars instead of 1.

Very pleasant family meal. Staff very helpful when we needed reassuring they took food allergies seriously. Staff member Dana came and showed her understanding of our situation as she has a sibling with severe food allergies.

Came out for a family birthday meal, ordered a steak and paid extra for peppercorn sauce, which didn’t arrive with my meal, had to remind staff and wait 10 minutes for the sauce. Ordered a mac and cheese which stated it came with breadcrumbs, when this was delivered to my table I asked where those breadcrumbs were to be told ‘we don’t have any left’ something as a customer I should’ve been told before I ordered and paid for this meal. No side plates for any of the starters. And when desert was brought to the table, our plates from dinner hadn’t been collected. Paid £1.50 to play pool after our meal and the machine wouldn’t release the balls, told a member of staff about this he said he’ll contact someone snd left and after waiting 40 mins for an update I had to go and find out what was going on to which I was told ‘if someone isn’t here in 5 minutes I’ll take your details and contact you when it’s fixed to return money’ When we left, the man who wanted to take our details was no where to be seen. Overall very dissatisfied, and disappointed.

Amazing Pub, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Enjoy coming here. The new management are very welcoming, and I can see a good change already.

Met friends for lunch and wasn’t disappointed we were welcomed on arrival and shown where we could sit We ordered at the bar and I was helped with my allergies The food came out quite quickly which was nice as they were a little busy Friendly staff who came back to make sure everything was ok And the plates were cleared away and the staff member asked if we needed anything else Would recommend

Birthday dinner.. 24 dinners were done for a birthday bash.... a little bit quiet calling out the food order but overall service was good..

used to love the folly, until they started cancelling reservations just a matter of days before my big family meal, to make it worse ( i know its technically allowed) i just find it unproffesional to telling customers to give then a good review and giving free shots in return, again ill say it i know its not illegal i just think there are better ways of getting a positive review from the follys customers :( if you want cheap drink its the place to go but food wise i dont recomend.

Had a fantastic meal and when I enquired the chef is young at 18 ...Dana.... well done excellent roast beef, fast service, nicely presented. Thankyou 😊 without a good chef its not going to work so needs a mention. Our waiter was also fantastic. We came here as portway had run out of food am hour into service!!! Grotty pub, strong smell of urine. Food luke warm and not appealing. Small portions for Hungry Horse although couldn’t have eaten a bigger portion here due to state of it.

We haven't been here for a long time. But what a pleasant surprise. Staff friendly and service good. The food was excellent. Only one little problem was a hair on the toast of the garlic mushrooms.

Came for my 5 year olds birthday with 2 siblings and wife. Started badly waiting at the bar for 10 minutes to order food for then a queue jumper and their table of 18 to get in before me despite being acknowledged and walked past by numerous staff whilst waiting. Then when ordering half of the menu was not on, at least the things we wanted to order which included the birthday girl who was disappointed. Not to worry we thought, we can get them the kids activity packs. Which they had. But they had no crayons, so that was useless. I’m so annoyed I’ve written this before the food has been delivered. 45 minute wait largely due to that table of 18 queue jumper I’d have thought. Not family friendly at all.

We were the first ones here, so didn't expect a long wait on the food. After 35 mins we asked about the food and was told there is a 15 min wait. We said we had been waiting 35 mins and was told 5 mins. Another 15 mins and it arrived. My daughter who is 7 was given the wrong side. I paid an extra £1.79 to have toast with my full English and receive one slice of toast which looked like it was small loaf. I then had to ask for butter and said about my daughter's side being wrong. Staff seemed to be walking in and out of the kitchen not actually doing anything. The overall experience was disappointing and not the usual service you get from a hungry horse. Won't be going there again

I've had a fantastic night at the Folly tonight with my kids, we all loved the food and it was great service from Jake, Maddie and Dionne 😁😁

Mediocre lunch, expected the pub to be busy on a Sunday lunchtime but there were probably only 4 or 5 other sets of people in there (should have taken this as a sign!) No full fat coke on tap, no n mum anti chutney for the curry which we were only told after good had arrived & we asked for it. The sharing platter starter was pretty plain, wings flavourless, only 3 pieces of scampi & nachos were thick & few, no dips with it either. Asked for soured cream but staff member never came back! Left feeling disappointed & that we should have probably gone elsewhere.

We went here a year ago and the food was good but it was disappointing this time. We ordered the jerk chicken and ribs. The ribs were decent but the chicken tasted only of cinnamon. We also ordered hot chicken wings which didn’t have much flavour, it was just spicy. However, the waiters were very kind and helpful.

This experience at the folly andover was bloody brilliant I must point out the staff were awesome, aldershot lost today we all felt broken inside and the hospitality here enlightened our days thank you to the special place called our home aka [the folly]

Absolutely disgusting well to start off we ordered drinks and when we sat down with them the glass had all old Lipstick around the rim and well what you call food that was shocking one plate you couldn’t even put your fork in the chips to pick Up they were solid and overcooked, one of the other meals came out with sauces missing on the sizzler and the chicken New Yorker was inedible it was solid the chicken was way over cooked will definitely not be going back
