Superb Dab brioche bun - freshly cooked, very tasty and excellent value for money for a quality lunch on the go.

Tried this a few weekends ago. The original fishermens rolls used to be here but they moved to the entrance of the mineture railway and maggies took the halfboat over. Maggies rolls cost £1.50 more and for that extra 1.50 all you get is a toasted brioch bun and a single sheet of lettecue. In additon the fish I was given (place) was curled up and greasy. The servers seemed uninterest in serving me and it all had a very cooperate feel with branded t shirts ect... Luckly the original fish buns are still availbe at the minature railway that are much tastier and cheaper with freindlier people serving. Would not return to Maggies.

Having enjoyed eating at the Maggie Restaurant was I interested to try Maggie’s At the Boat. My Smoked Fish Chowder was mainly just potatoes and sweetcorn in a thin sauce – I think they may have made a vegan version by mistake. However, some of the other food we got (e.g. the Sweetcorn Chilli and Chive Fritters and the fries) we thought was quite greasy. The takeaway occupies a former net shop, which in turn is on half of RX40 boat (the other half is now the Half Sovereign Cottage). I really wanted to like this place; I just hope my Chowder was a mistake as otherwise I would be hesitant to re-visit.

So excited to see that Maggies has opened up a 2nd venture. Had amazing seafood chowder served with stout bread (10 out of 10) and then we had dabs in a bun. Never had them before. Really tasty. All very reasonable. We then sat by the fishing huts and watched the world go by. Perfect Would recommend

Maggie s have opened a take away Maggie’s At The Boat, Rock-a-Nore. Don’t get excited... Changing eat in restaurant prices for poultry potions of lukewarm food. A very small cup of chowder (watery soup) and tiny bit of dry bread £6.50, tiny buns barely filled £5. Hardly the quantity or quality expected at these prices.

Fab breakfast, real food, real prices! Not a chain not mega bucks, just basic decent grub. Lots of regulars and locals so must be good! We enjoyed it. Clean and tidy, tucked all my boxes

This place has god downhill. Very poor service. Guys handling food with bear hands, and wiping hands on apron. Dirty toilets. Tables not cleared or cleaned (sticky). High prices. What has happened to this place that used to be a reasonable stop for a snack. Avoid.

Disgusted by Lee Murphy's behavior tonight, a complete disrespect to this company. As someone who has spent a lot at this club, you have lost my business forever.
