This is a lovely small place with good vibes and delicious food all freshly made up. Staff is very friendly, welcoming atmosphere .. authentic South Indian taste. My kid loves the chocolate dosa which they customise it every time for him with icecream toppings etc.. 😊 Recommend it totally !!

I came here with my family and my partner for their birthday meal, as my partner loves Indian food. It’s safe to say we were all very impressed by the food! It was so incredibly fresh & warm and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be coming back here. :)

A Hidden Treasure in BROMLEY. "I discovered this place MADRAS ACCENT during my travels and was so impressed by the quality of food and the attention to detail in every dish. The flavors were exceptional, and the staff treated us like family, especially Peter suggested mutton curry and biriyani, which was extraordinary. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!"

Stopped off on my way home (1.5hrs drive away from restaurant) because I fancied a dosa. Hands down the best dosa I have had in the UK… very authentic South Indian cuisine, very tasty, nice people. Absolutely recommended - a taste of Southern India in Bromley.

Found it by chance when feeling hungry on our way out and looking for Indian restaurant. And it hasn’t disappointed at all. It’s a tiny restaurant so not much for an ambience but Peter is absolutely sweet, calm and ready to help and I was surprised to see how authentic and tasteful the food was, I have not had such flavoursome sambhar in a restaurant for a while now and dosa and uttapam were perfect too. Will definitely recommend for South Indian food lovers to try. Remember, it’s not cheap though.

Disgusting service when ordered via Uber eats. They didn't send the full order, and despite calling them 3 times to send a non-spicy chicken for children, they've sent something that's way too hot, floating in oil, and fit for the bin. The picture says it all. Called them and not even an apology - I have just been asked to call Uber eats for help. Never again.

Tiny place. Food was good like many other Indian restaurants. The service was appallingly slow. It took them 10 minutes to even pack our leftovers. I think they are quite short staffed. Prices are way above average and the quantity is almost half of what you get at other places. Overall, there is little value for money and the overall experience is poor.

Deliveries from here 3 or 4 times. Food lovely. So diabolically slow to arrive. This time it was an hour and 40 minutes for a takeaway for 4, I thought I’d collect thinking it’d be quicker. Diabolical service from staff. No apologies. Sadly this is the last time. I’d recommend Copper Ceylon for a similar type of South Indian.

I ordered food twice on UberEATS. Both the time food were good enough. Thus, decided to dine-in and spent a disappoint 50 quid. Food was really disappointing. The lamb biriyani had old chewy microwaved meat in it and the chicken in chicken biriyani had weird smell. Not fresh food at all.

Everything we ate was totally delicious! We had dosas, fish curry, and vada. Will be coming back very soon.

Poor service, average food, unimpressive ambience , above average prices! Went for dinner with a group of 5 and had one of the poorest experiences in an Indian restaurant as a regular Indian restaurant visitor The worst part of the experience was service which included in-compassionate attitude towards a child and their parents in the group, not getting order together (my order came in three parts; sambhar first, then dosa and at the end masala) The food was average; some items tasted alright, some were decent and some could be done better The place seems cramped for space, resources serving tables are low and lacks a sense of professionalism Other South Indian places around have great service and better food Recommendation: Skip!

Food is good but the service is so bad that you would want to leave without your food. The food arrived after almost 35/40 mins with multiple follow ups . We didn’t have water on the table after good 20 mins. I have a 2 year old and I get his home cooked food at every restaurant because of he doesn’t eat food outside and that’s what I prefer. They denied my son his dinner and forced me to buy something for him from the restaurant itself. This is the most bizzare attitude I saw at any restaurant. My child doesn’t but a child can have many allergies and parents can choose to give them home cooked food.

Great food. Be prepared to wait for ages for your food to arrive!! Why don't they hire one more person and build a better goodwill?

The food tasted decent, but I am appalled by the portions. For a dish that is over £11, I would expect more than 3 mouthfuls. I am referring to the tiny circular containers. I would suggest looking at the few other Indian restaurants in the Orpington / Sidcup area.

I recently dined at Madras Accent and was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the staff. The food was exceptional each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the Mayosre Masala Dosa, which was cooked perfectly, and the Mini Idli's was a Hot , comforting start to the meal. The staff were equally impressive specially "Bharat". They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Madras Accent is a delightful spot that offers delicious food and fantastic service. Highly Recommend.

Sambar was not hot enough and didn't taste good. Dosa size was not appropriate , high pricing. Chutney taste not authentic. Starter came after main course was done. Cutlery not appropriate for south Indian cuisine. A complete transition required by the Chef to prepare food. Arya bhawan and sarvana bhawan highly recommended.

The whole experience was amazing 🤩 We was advised on our menu choices and they were so very good. The staff were super friendly and explained and answered all our questions about the food. Had great food and a lovely service during my lunch at the restaurant. I'd previously ordered takeaway delivery from this restaurant but was passing by and decided to stop to dine-in. Glad I did. Enjoyed the rasam vadai, and a uttapham. The restaurant was accommodating with my request to make my uttapham with vegetable oil instead of ghee. Looking forward to dining in here again soon.

We went Monday eve. It was quiet and only one staff present who was doing everything. We ordered dosa which was delicious. Mango lassi was too sweet. Sambar and coconut chutney was good.

The Paneer Butter Masala and Butter Chicken were bursting with authentic flavors, beautifully balanced with spice and richness. We appreciated that the restaurant was accommodating in adjusting the spice level to our preference, a gesture that made the dishes even more enjoyable. Last night ordered idlis. The delivery was very quick (less than 30mins for ~5 miles) but the idlis provided were stale and upset my tummy.
