Just had a super lunch here. Really good food and dessert! Friendly staff and atmosphere! Would highly recommend!

Okay, so we read a lot of good things about Madras Accent so we decided to give it a shot. Turns out, the non-veg thali was the only thing that really hit the spot. While the non-vegetarian thali was a highlight, the other dishes proved disappointing. The chicken biryani, in particular, was meager, featuring only a single piece of chicken and a boiled egg. The chicken chukka, though flavorful, was overly onion-heavy and contained a limited number of small pieces of chicken.** The dahi papdi chaat was also underwhelming. While the non-vegetarian thali offered good value, the overall quality of the food was inconsistent.** The servers were nice, but it took forever to get our food.

Wonderful Tamil (South Indian) restaurant. The food is very similar to what you get back home in India, so it's as authentic as it gets. My 3 year old loved the food too. We are vegetarians and had plenty of options to choose from. Overall, we had a wonderful, toddler approved meal

Good south indian food. We had a ghee roast dosa and brinjal curry with parotta. Dosa and parotta were yum. Brinjal curry could be better - I was expecting a stuffed brinjal curry instead it was a tomato onion based gravy with little pieces of brinjal.

Great quality food. Very less potato inside the Dosa (Abt 1 and half spoon). Had to eat about half just with sauce. Customer Service okay.

We had parotta, chicken Chettinad curry, mutton dosa and mutton biryani. Everything was amazing except mutton biryani was a little dry and tasted more of pudina rice. A little pricey for the quantity but would definitely recommend to people who miss Chennai food.

Best authentic south Indian food served with great service

DO NOT order from the restaurant- I collected my food and charged a service charge of £2! Then £2.50 per small popadom When I then queried the cost I was told everyone charges the same. I didn’t expect to be charged to collect my own food. The shop was empty and it makes sense why now! Shame the madras was full of oil and poor quality chicken. Won’t be going back again and such a shame. Staff didn’t have any customer service skills.

I placed an order for collection. My curry was almost £11. I was charged £2:50 per popadom (x3) and yet my bill came too £20:20. I challenged this with the staff and I was told that they’re charged me a £2 service charge for a curry that I’ve collected. And the menu online has the wrong price for a single popadom!! This was my first and last visit to this establishment. The staff were rude and dismissive. I feel their actions today were dishonest and fraudulent. Food - my curry was nothing special and tasted really similar to one that I’ve made from a curry kit. I will never visit this venue again!!

Very authentic South Indian experience. I know it’s not the same entirely but I lived in Sri Lanka for three months and this restaurant offered me the flavours that I cherished during that time of my life. Small, quaint and I recommend the masala chai to finish. If you don’t know what to order, ask for the waiter’s favourites. He’ll guide you well. (Just asked his name = Kamalesh) Enjoy

Pathetic service, ordered simple stuff, they were clearly paying attention to online orders not to the people who are sitting there. They should go cloud kitchen if they dont like people in their restaurant. So annoying!!

Old menu uploaded on google , I ordered one mysore masala dosa served with 1 GLASS of sambhar and 2 miniature size of white and red chutney@£10.99 + £ 0.99 for 1 gram of white chutni . Good taste but portion size was too small . No value for money !!!

Food was amazing. Best Indian around Bromley. Service not so much. Food service was slow and we had to constantly remind waiters what we ordered, and they still forgot items. Ask for water they bring one glass for a table of four. Ask for coffee at the beginning and get it at the end of my meal. I would order takeaway but not eat in here.

The food was tasty but the customer service really needed more training. The front of house was very slow, we needed to chase for cutlery. We ordered two pints of beer but they were served at different time when it took 5 mins to wait for the other one. Despite that the order was repeated at the table, the order was still mixed up. Staff needs to be more attentive. No apology was given when the order was made wrong. Also no clear communication on when the second one would be served. No itemised bill was given Appreciate that the restaurant was busy with online order but in-house guests should not be neglected

Good food. Very slow service . Took one hour to make curry and paratha. When it arrived, curry is almost like liquid. Staff are confused on what to prioritize and what can wait. If you are very hungry not a place to choose. Very pricey for portions offered.

Food was good! We loved the okra fry and golbi manchurian especially. Prices are reasonable too. Service might be a bit slow but understandable for it is a small family fun restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our dinner.

We attempted to dine at Madras Accent and were extremely disappointed. After waiting 10-15 minutes for a staff member to attend to us, we were told we could not bring safe food for our toddler with severe allergies, citing strict rules. Despite explaining our situation multiple times, they were inflexible and unaccommodating. This lack of empathy made the experience very stressful. Most restaurants we frequent understand and allow us to bring food for our child. These allergies are life threatening and cannot be taken lightly. If you need a family-friendly restaurant that can accommodate special dietary needs, I would not recommend. I know it’s the rules. But it’s definitely not a family friendly restaurant.

Just had the onion pods dosa and mysore dosa - delicious! Plus, Gobi Manchurian - very good cosy restaurant with lovely, polite staff. Highly recommend this place.

Definitely “don’t judge a book by its cover”moment! Absolutely fantastic food and amazing sense of Indian Music! The place looked so tiny and cute from outside, me and my husband peeped in as if we were at the wrong place! Coming to the point! We started with Samosa Chat and it touched all the ends of bliss. Very friendly Staff.. I would definitely recommend this place period.

My 7 year old son loved the food here especially idli sambar. Says its best of the best. We loved the chettinadu fish curry and was suggested to have with idli. Believe me that was the best combo!
