Though we would try somewhere new for our family meal. Food was excellent, best curry we have had in a while, and the staff were so warm and friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will differently be coming back.

Simply the best curry house I have experienced. I base this on taste, variety and cost, along with the homely feel that the host, waiter and the chef offers everyone who visits the restaurant. They are all top friendly guys, who do their best to look after each and every customer. My mate and I visit at least 3 Thursdays each month, and that will continue. A great find indeed. Thank you Guys.

We loved our visit to Madras. The waiter was really friendly and the service was fab. He offered us a home made Masala soda and Masala tea on the house. The soda was not quite to our taste but it was good to try something new. The dosa was amazing and could have been a main course. The food was authentic and beautifully presented. We will be back soon x

Came here by chance when the other Indian restaurant we had booked messed up our booking. Warm welcome in nice, modern decor. Menu was full of quite authentic Indian dishes which the staff were really helpful giving their advice. There are the usual curry classics too. Had the lamb curry which was divine & other family members had a variety of dishes which they all loved. One of the best curries I’ve had outside of India, it was that good! This place is a real gem! Patchway is very lucky to have this wonderful restaurant.

Patchway’s finest Indian restaurant! The metre long dosa is a theatre piece of food. But more than that it is delicious. The staff are brilliant and service is swift but they don’t hurry you. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, they will happily recommend and explain dishes. Oh and try the ice cream!!

Delicious authentic South Indian food served in family friendly atmosphere. You enter Madras and feel like you've been transported back to a restaurant in chennai. We went for the special thali Diwali lunch and was blown away by the attention to us as a family and the absolutely finger licking delicious food served. Hoping for many more visits.

Warmley Waiting Room is a consistently delightful spot with lovely, friendly staff who make every visit enjoyable. It's an ideal stop when cycling along the Bristol to Bath cycle track, with a nearby car park off the A420 for those driving by. The outdoor seating and charming railway-themed setting add to its appeal. Highly recommend trying the tiffin and the bacon, brie, and cranberry baguette—both are delicious and well worth it. A great place to relax and refuel, whether cycling, walking, or just passing through.

Visiting from Canada and come here every time we visit Bristol. Locals don’t know how good they have it here. Had the special today which included a coffee or tea. Amazing thick slice toast supplied by a local bakery, a perfectly cooked over easy egg (with a beautiful yoke), a generous portion of english bacon and a sausage. Also included tomato and beans. We’ve travelled all over Europe in the past 5 weeks and the value for the quality and quantity of food is second to none. We were greeted and served by the owner and her staff who were friendly, attentive and efficient. We’ll be back for lunch tomorrow before leaving town. Thank you Riverside Cafe for your hospitality and kindness. So nice to have a home style meal away from home.

A warm and inviting experience here. The service was friendly and relaxed. A great amount of choice on the menu. We went for the tapas and it was all delicious. Special shout out for the meatballs! Great value for money too.
