Madonalds York in York

Hadn't had a McDonald's for a number of months and fancied one while on holiday in York. I am visually impaired and have difficulty using the on screen menus. There were no staff on the shop floor who could assist me, so after a few mistakes I manged to order 2 meals. Before sitting down I found someone in a side office and asked where the disabled toilets were and was sent upstairs. When I received the meals they were cold the chips were soggy and rubbery, still no one on the shop floor. Had to leave the meals as they were inedible. Overall a horrible experience and waste of money.

Harry- assistant manager Needs reassessing! Rude! Making sarcastic comments after I’d waited 20 minutes for a happy meal. I politely asked if it was ready as the number had disappeared and numbers after me had got their happy meals. I got a reply of ‘yeah great’ When i finally got my food and said that his response was very rude he then became very angry and loud shouting comments at me. Would never go back again! Visit if you want slow food, to be humiliated and shouted at!

Ordered online for delivery, having done so previously with no issue. This time could not be more different. Drink spilt, ruining ice cream. No straw to drink what was left in the cup. 2 portions of the chips, the nuggets & burger were cold, and all of the dips were missing. The only things that were hot, edible and delivered as ordered were one of the chips & the chicken burger. Called up uber who made the delivery and was told that as it was delivered within advised time - tough luck. Mcflurry would be refunded as spoilt by spilt drink, but that was it. So, I've just binned over £20 of food. We are visiting York on a leisure break, so I can't even pop cold food in microwave as staying in a hotel. I tried calling branch but no response. To say I am angry is most definitely an understatement. This experience has put us off ordering food for delivery again. Mistakes happen, staff are human & can make errors - it is however, how the firm handle the problem that marks a good company from a bad one.

Food wasn’t hot, and server didn’t seem interested. Didn’t have to wait long though, and it hit the spot. Prices keep getting bigger but still very affordable

We went here today for a treat to our child the food was cool , chicken sandwich saver the breads were curled up , table upstairs had what looked like super glue on , fries were cool only thing hot was hot chocolate

Visited this McDonalds in York as we wanted something quick to eat and a lot of the resturants were full. Staff were very young and seemed streessed as place was heaving.They got our order wrong.Chips were stone cold .Coke tasted like soda water.ASked for crunchie mcflurry got oreo which i dont like .It was a complete waste of money threw food in the bin was disgusting.Dont bother viditing this McDonalds a lot of nice eating places in York .Keep walking round till you find a better place than this !!!!

Food was as good as McDonald’s food is and the young lad who served was fine however the female toilets were that disgusting I ended up not using them. The sanitary bins were overflowing and most of the toilet seats were dirty

The man behind the counter went out of his way to put caramel/toffee syrup in my tea as I like chai lattes! Bagel with cream cheese delicious. So cheap and just as good as Nero Starbicks et all

I visited the drive-through of the branch near Acomb and was appalled by the service, attitude and the way I was spoken to by two members of staff, mainly a girl called Jess... She couldn’t even be bothered to walk to my car window to pass me my food I had been waiting for... She needs retraining and I wonder if her future is in a customer orientated job.....

Visited with granddaughter on visit to York. Needed a quick lunch and McDonalds provided the solution. Despite being very busy managed to get a table and food was provided relatively quickly considering how busy it was. The food was ,as always, the same McDonald standard with good value.

Words can’t even describe this place. Been here multiple times just because nothing else is open after I finish work and am really hungry. So dirty!!! Also really big queues and not very friendly staff...

Called in for a quick bite to eat very slow service and waited 25 minutes to be served Then had to try and find some where to sit time we got are food it was nearly stone cold

Typically after my drunken shennanigans i am always very satisfied with the MacDonald’s staff, really friendly and helpful even at the ungodly hours of the morning. However, the bouncer at the door, although very attractive, we cannot ignore the fact that he was watching brooklyn99 on shift. Even though it’s a great show 10/10 would reccommend, i felt rather unsafe against any other drunk people trying to steal my food. Hope his attitude changes cuz looks aren’t everything hunni!

Nothing out of the ordinary in this run of the mill fast food outlet. Good for an pccasional quick coffee or McMuffin. breakfast

Mientras compras en Nueva York fui por mi almuerzo. En lo particular no me gusta el nuevo sistema de ordenamiento donde pagas y luego ver una pantalla plana para su número para venir diciendo que la comida está lista, demasiada gente se situó en la parte frontal no lo dejan. Cuando finalmente me dieron mi comida no había mesa disponible, así que tenía que levantarme y comer, mucha gente había terminado la comida, pero aún así nos sentamos en las mesas. Además, no me gusta que estaba lleno de adolescentes que arregláramos ruidoso pensamos que o k para usar lenguaje horrible. No volveré de nuevo a menos que es tranquila y se puede sentar. La comida debe ser más caliente que la mía estaba fría.

Visited this store today and it has the new order and collect as the one in Scarborough store has . When I visited the store today I ordered a Mcflurry because it was a warm day and the service at the tills because there was two members of staff and when I got to the collection point there was two people shouting out the order numbers out as well as collecting the the items for that order.

Me and my wife stopped here for twenty minutes for a drink and a snack while walking around York. If you frequent McDonald's you will know what to expect. The free wifi was useful. Food was hot.

It's okay - a fairly standard McDonald's. far too many scruffy kids/teenagers hanging around at all times of the day though. Also the toilets are far too small and there isn't enough seating. But McDonald's is tasty so can you really complain?

They served me limp greasy fries. and the Big Mac was put together wrong. They did replace my order, and it was much better. Most McDonald's give you free refills, not here

Se sentía como estar en Argos hoy. Contador enfoque, lugar para luego se emitió un recibo con su número y esperar a ser llamado. Se puede colocar una orden utilizando una pantalla remota. Normal, padrão Mc Donald`s, exceto a grande quantidade de pessoas. Tivemos que esperar para conseguir um local para sentarmos, e o espaço deles não é pequeno. Minha filha adorou o brinquedo e o material para desenhar.

Pretty standard McDonalds here just in case anyone was wondering haha!! Glad to see they've incorporated the touch screen orders and messages around the restaurant to encourage recycling and not sending everything to landfill.

City centre, location. Within easy reach of the shops, theatre and the Minster Nothing to say about it really. You have seen one, you have seen them all !

Food was OK but near us there was a group who were singing along to the music and mimicking YouTube videos in a very loud and offensive way. Avoid, if you fancy the food go to a drive through.

My husband and I popped in here for a quick breakfast roll this morning. They had stopped serving breakfast but did say they had sausage and egg mcmuffins left, we ordered two of those and coffee but were told they were out of hash browns and could take a fruit bag or chips instead, I opted for the fruit bag which was put on my tray and when I looked at it the sell by date was 4 days ago! Not checking dates on their food much!!.

Sólo he ido dos veces (aunque yo vivo en el centro de la ciudad) y las dos veces me dieron el orden equivocado. Pedí café dos veces y las dos veces me dieron leche aunque soy alérgico y una vez pedí un filete de pescado - o - sin queso y me dieron queso de todos modos. Siempre es muy concurrido y no limpio.

Después de un viaje de compras dura, como último recurso nos cayó en Mugrientos D's como teníamos hambre. No mucho, pero sucia sucia D D, las mesas estaban cubiertas de comida y los pisos eran peores.

Básicamente cuando paramos aquí antes de viajar a newcastle y pedimos bigmacs y me tomaron toda la 2. 3 minutos para llegar, que es innecesario ya que sólo había alrededor de 12 personas en la cafetería. Luego pedimos 2 mcflurries que tuvimos que esperar unos minutos para "" y al final tardaron 3 minutos para servirnos. Creo que la espera de 2 y 3 minutos que la comida es mala y debe estar disponible al instante y no tome más de 30 segundos. Estoy muy decepcionada en MCDonalds

Food was excellent, floor needs cleaning however as it's in a bit of state BUT that maybe because it's open 24 hours I guess. Staff were excellent also.

Llevé a mi nieto de seis años para el almuerzo mientras visita Nueva York como le gusta el pollo Nuggets - ¡qué error! El lugar estaba totalmente lleno, gente empujando el pasado para intentar encontrar un lugar para sentarse, aunque podíamos ver chicas jóvenes sin comida teniendo mesas utilizando el WiFi gratis!

Een eigenschap van Mc Donalds is dat de hamburgers altijd hetzelfde smaken dus ook in York. De plaats was druk bezet maar de service verliep zeer vlot. Opgave bestelling via een scherm en vrijwel onmiddellijk kan je de bestelling afhalen. Men probeert de tafels proper te houden, kortom geen klachten.

I was on an early shift at work and decided to call into McDonalds for breakfast on the way.

Called with my ten year old grandson for lunch the service was rushed and staff are virtually shouting for your order has noise level very high I asked what the wrap of the day was , I asked 3 times and what calories it had and girl that served me shrugged her shoulders I don t know was her reply I explained I could not see the writing as I had forgot my glasses but she was not helpful at all so as she was rushing us I ordered chicken and bacon salad big mistake it was a bowl full of lettuce I did say to them I was not happy with it and the young lad behind counter just looked straight past me grandson meal was only just warm and husband meal was too hot as if blasted in microwave so won t be going into that mac d again

Go here all the time, staff are very friendly and quick and orders have always been correct. Have been here after nights out as well when it's very busy and the staff are all very efficient and a bouncer over sees everything

Popped in for a quick lunch. Asked for a double cheeseburger without cheese (yes, a double hamburger) it was delicious and didn't have to wait too long.

As McDonald' go this one is one of the better ones,it is central to the City,the place is clean,as are the toilets,the food is ok especially the Ice Cream

Aunque no soy un fan de McDonalds, en particular, es justo decir que a lo largo de los años he visitado muchos, en varios países de todo el mundo. It's Mac Ds. Large, clean and budget friendly. Staff are helpful, prices standard. Lots of seating for bigger groups.

Visité esta rama con mi madre, nos dieron la comida rápidamente, pero cuando fuimos a una mesa, nos dimos cuenta de que las sillas eran grasosas, cubiertas de comida e inutilizable. Las mesas no había sido despejada. Había una familia sentado cerca de nosotros tocando música a mayor volumen, y lo hizo sin problemas de los miembros del personal a nuestra consternación.

Visité para mi té de McDonald's y nos servían muy rápidamente. Tuve nuggets de pollo y patatas fritas y una taza de té. El personal es muy servicial, por ejemplo leche poner en la taza de té para usted si usted no puede manejar. Las instalaciones son buenas, con arriba y abajo con el aseos abajo tener un bebé cambia de instalaciones.

si uno va a un Mc Donalds es porque conoce la cadena y sabe que esperar. aqui se obtiene lo que uno quiere y a mi me gusta, sobre todo sus papas crujientes

We vist York regularly and called into the York McDonald's for a quick lunchtime snack...worst decision ever..apart from waiting 15 minutes to get served by a very dour service crew the meal eventually came and how long it had been sat there s nobody's guess it was like a limp salad...

Servicio realmente pobre. Servidor desconsiderado que era grosero y gritando en un espacio reducido. Me sentí presionada a la orden cuando yo no estaba muy seguro de qué bebida y comida que queríamos pedir. Todo lo que quería era una sabrosa hamburguesa, pero el escándalo y experimenté fue mucho más allá de el cubo. No volveré a este restaurante de comida rápida como me dieron un servicio lento e inútil.

It's areet, just a McDonald's really, only problem is that sometimes they get orders wrong but you can't fault them when it's busy really

Me asistir a este restaurante en una base regular para el café con leche o un extraño traición poco hamburguesa o 3 y a asistir a domingo 8 de la mañana me quedé sorprendido de la vitalidad de los camareros! Me olvide es un lugar 24 horas y cada vez que asisto a la tienda es limpio, presentable, hay siempre una sonrisa de saludo, personal cálido y amable.

Use this place regularly. Friendly helpful staff , good food, tables cleaned often all in all good Mc D's. Only downside does get very busy.

Does what it says on the tin. Fairly clean, but you can never be sure in these places, the food was well, what you'd expect really. Fast, cheap and horribly bad for you. Always busy, usually rammed with students :D

This is a city centre location (no drive-thru) and as such is usually very busy. It is a reasonable size but it is often difficult to get seated. As for everything else - if you's seen one McDonald's, you've sen them all

But the staff here seem more friendly and engaging then others I've visited :) The only problem I've come accross is the Fish-O-Fillet takes time.. though everytime I've ordered the staff do table service!! (and they don't forget as many other stores do)

Grabbed some chips as the are gluten free. Great for a midday filler. Service was fast and friendly.

not bad it's a macs so wasn't expecting much was busy and stood in a line for 10min or so only for us and other in the line to realise who ever was on till had just left and was no where to be seen so that was a bummer no signs to say seats upstairs as i happens we where noisy and found a seat so meh

8.00am, just off the rural bus, long walk to the hospital..decided to have breaky in Maccy-D's. 1st time in here, pleasant staff, served within 5 mins, good coffee, & tasty food.

This Mcdonalds is a very busy restaurant and the staff are very stressed out, this shows when they get your simple order mixed up most times! Avoid when busy.

We see the arsehoels fallen asleep many person, and they are hazard to themselves, and to ourselves. We ask them to wake up , unt they swear.They swear indeed to US security staff enlightened to preserve life!often they vomit, and throw mcflurries in rather drunken child way.Often they are urinating. and also threatned us to kill, stab or wound with intent. i have to say that herr lloyd said that one minute he was resting head, and then, he said asleep, he cant even remember can he. what is this english nonsense? do all student pupils behave as thus?

Normal outing with friends. staff good food normal but expected. Homeless man that stinks not great! I'm sorry he should not be in here he hasn't bought anything

Creo que puede variar dependiendo de el McDonald's que vayas, pero no me pareció que el servicio era malo en el lugar al que fui. Puede que no han sido súper alegre, pero fueron muy serviciales y me trajo en y fuera de línea muy rápidamente. Esperé a menos de 5 minutos a la orden y recibir mi comida. El lugar también estaba limpia, y parecía mucho más lujoso que las que tenemos en casa en los Estados Unidos. En esta nota, me habían dicho que la comida me gusto considerablemente diferente. No me pareció que para ser verdad. Pedí un gran y sabrosa comida, y pensé que no me gusto nada diferente que en casa. Las patatas fritas sabía exactamente lo mismo, que es lo que yo era la más preocupado. La única cosa que magníficamente era malísimo era no había cerveza, que es lo que siempre me dan con la comida de mi McDonald's.

El servicio al cliente de Matt es terrible. Él no muestra un deseo de progreso a través de la empresa, ni mostrar cualquier orgullo en trabajar para McDonald's, la comida es buena, manténgase alejado de este lugar porque es arrogante y demasiado grande para sus botas. 2 - storey city centre Macdonald's. Pretty much identical to all others. In York you are spoiled for choice for places to eat and this establishment has settled arguments with the kids where to eat. Unfortunately.

Bog standard McDonalds with lots of seating in a central location for York. Handy with 3 kids in tow.

Fui allí para una comida rápida pre-Tattoo. Pedí dos hamburguesas con queso, patatas fritas y coca-cola. he pagado en mi los servicios se entonces todo lo que pedimos estaba puesto en mi prueba en segundos, no creo que he tomado tan rápido en un McDonald's. La comida estaba bastante bien por lo que se puede esperar de un McDonald's y el lugar parecía limpia.

this place is always busy but the service is great and this is the cleanest fast food place ive been to . the hot drinks are fab and the milkshakes are devine and i always get service with a smile.

Not a lot to say as McDonalds all tend to be all virtually the same. The food was fine and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

Lunch dash in for chicken 'sandwich'. Meat limp. Lettuce limper still. Tea awful. And service questionable. Just not the McDonald standard you might have expected. Sorry because the chain does a great job - usually!.

Although in a city, the McDonalds is relatively small and you can be waiting 20 - 30 mins before you even get to the counter, and then have to find somewhere to sit. Not good for a Mc Donalds
