Madisons in Chesterfield

Madisons was shut. Wednesday 1:30pm and it was shut. I'll give it another review when I arrive at a time more akin to breakfast time.

Great food served with a smile will always go there

Breakfast is fantastic cooked to perfection and well presented sandra is really friendly and nothing is to much trouble

I do like this place for a good breakfast. The breakfast is well priced and plentiful with other options if breakfast isn't your thing. Every time service is quick and food choices are great for a cafe menu.. . Great service, good price even if the sausages are a little lacking in flavour but we'll worth a visit

A lovely, friendly cafe with great food and friendly staff.

Me and my work mate's came in here for a end of year breakfast, couldn't fault it at all service and food was excellent, had to wait a short time but that was NO problem as it was busy and all the breakfast's was cooked fresh.

Found this by accident after local pub was closed. Staff could not do enough to help three weary walkers! Massive chip butty (with butter!!) and the fish finger cobs were smashing! Recommend if you’re looking for that little gem of a traditional British cafe!

A medium cob, absolutely small, very little bacon which was fatty and cold when received. Definitely will not return...

Great breakfast excellent value for money! Service is fabulous and they are so friendly and welcoming. My favourite place for a breakfast!!!

Just been for a sausage/bacon cob and a coffee and a cheeky slice of cake. Plenty of sanitizer and they were strict with it and taking contact details. Service is a little abrasive but perfectly friendly. It's a straight forward cafe run with efficiency, it's not a polished chain set up and nor does it need to be. Food was spot on, drinks very nice and service was quick. We will go again for sure.

Absolute shambles. A woman in there was so rude no manners at all, if you want to be treated with respect like a human should this is NOT the place for you, on top of the rude service also had to wait 20 minutes for a simple meal.

Absolutely amazing! Shame about bad reviews from people who dont understand why they couldnt take a card payment and have no grasp of basic economics.

Never again! How insulting, it takes time to cook so I order so it can be cooking whilst I go post office do may daily jobs and get some cash out since they have no competence to take card. Oh you have to pay now, oh well I need to get cash out despite coming in 4 times in the last few weeks and also bringing her other customers this is how you repay people who offer their loyalty? No wonder cafes are not surviving if this is your attitude over £6, absolute shocking. Maybe it is just discrimination since you did not mind when my friend did same other day nipped to cash machine while you cooked, told them to never go back too abysmal, absolutely stunned it is your own fault you do not take card to avoid tax no doubt.

Had many breakfasts/ dinners here. There is a good choice of freshly cooked and good quality food served by friendly staff.

Fabulous and friendly staff. Just called in for a quick lunch and had to have one of the homemade lemon puddings with custard. All delicious, will be back for some cheesecake. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic place to go if you are looking from anything as little as a latte or a full fresh cooked dinner with pudding lovely and clean and very helpful friendly staff

Decided to pop in for some breakfast, waitress was really helpful food was delicious made to order. Not a long wait for food, very clean and tidy

Visited this little cafe many times , and never been disappointed !! Bargain breakfast at £2.99 is perfect, and a great cup of tea to go with it. Always friendly staff !! Nice and clean, welcoming and homely!! Recommend to all :-)

tasty stuff here called for a butty ended up with the full English and couldn't leave a morsel really tasty stuff

A lovely little cafe with a good range of food on offer. I frequent this cafe with my two children (usually for a breakfast). The staff are always friendly and there's plenty of seating inside and out. All of the food is reasonably priced. High chairs available :)
