Madina Curry Take Away in Calderdale

Poor service all round.. Ordered take away at 7:58 didn't arrive until 9:52. Chips cold once again chicken a little chewy.. Massive jump in prices £10.20 to £13 hike of £2.80. Best part of meal was the can of coke.. Not worth it..

I had a lamb karahi, one of my all-time favourite dishes, and one I've tried from many many places. The only slight criticism I'd have with the curry is there was a little too much cinnamon taste in the sauce, which was slightly overpowering, but apart from that, a lovely curry - not too greasy, rich and full of flavour. Chapattis and bharjis were top-notch!

Can’t fault anything, food come fast and hot, very very large portions, not sure who was in charge of the bajis but defo didn’t need 10 lol overall would go back as a safe clean feeling takeaway is always positive, bajis for tea for a week

Ordered and within half an hour the food was ready which is exceptional to say a lot of takeaways in the local area during the pandemic have taken so long to get food ready. However, the bhuna we ordered didnt taste much like a bhuna and was very sweet however all other food was delicious. Will be back.

First time ordering and can only say the food was rank! Ordered a rogan Josh, came tasting of gravy with some spice but was really sweet. It’s had never seen a rogan josh! Didn’t eat any of it. The cheesy chips were cold and had obviously been left standing for some time considering the cheese was hard and moulded to the shape of the box so when it was tipped out it was solid! Yuk! The salad was horrendous, mint sauce was watered down. Needles to say it all went in the bin. Will never order from here again!

In happy never got my free onion barji. Half a popperdom. The massala was not right. And the pattia I didnt get .had something dif..so seems like wrong order. Not good

Me and my husband have just ordered two curries with extras from Madina. Being a vegetarian I asked for a Saag Aloo (spinach and potato) but left a note and asked if I could have some vegetables in the meal and that I was happy to pay extra for this. My meal came and included lots of vegetables and I was not charged any extra. It was lovely to have some vegetables in my dish and made all the difference; it was clear that as a customer I was listened to! The curry was excellent! My husband had a chicken tikka masala (regular) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meal also came 15 minutes earlier than expected. We will definitley be returning!

Waited an hour longer than told for a delivery last week. Sent me chapatis instead of rice this week then wouldn’t answer the phone when I was trying to get this rectified. Ended up binning the curry, won’t be buying from here again.

Food was just under an hour late. When it arrived most of it was cold and some of it was missing. Really disappointed. Will not be ordering from here again!!!

ordered potatoes with my curry but didnt get them other then that great meal really nice and arrived on time.

Never disappointed with our food. Chicken balti is full of flavour and would also recommend chicken Rogan josh. The tikka naans are a firm favourite too. Staff friendly and helpful.

My notes I add when placing a order doesn't seem too be read! I ask for certain things and doesn't happen . Like sauces and only been sent one or wrong one . Asking for a different flavour base and getting original

Chicken in mushroom pakora for vegetarians. Tasteless Pathia. Salty balti. Uncooked naan and no rice turned up!! Shame because it was nice the first time around.

Donner meat was stone cold .. and on receipt there was till amount for the meat but not the pizza and got over charges from what got told by the girl on phone .: Always order from this takeaway but last couple been down

Asked for the mild masala and it was definitely not mild. blew my mouth of so cant even eat it. waste of money will be thrown in the bin.

Usually had really good experiences but this time was very poor. Staff were rushing about and our order ended up being completely wrong. I waited ages for the order so couldn't be fussed going back with it. What we did receive was edible but not that nice. Won't be returning.

Food was nice really enjoyed the onion rings! No fault other than forgetting my cream on my cake and was really looking forward but other than that was decent.

Bit cold also paid for extra chickpeas with the masala but never got them.

Become a regular here, the lamb rogan josh was very nice, all the food we order has always been very good.

Always order from here .. but getting bad for not listening too notes! Ordered chilli got sent with none ( said NO ONIONS ) always riddle in onions! If I was allergic they would be in trouble as I sent strict instruction to none

Very disappointed. The notes were not read again so the entire order was wrong, couldn't ring to let them know as I was out and my daughter didn't realise she could ring to tell them .

Need to make sure good carton shut right..It had leaked out and when I took out of bag it went all over as leaked...Not impressed

By my own mistake I ordered the wrong curry, when I rang them they explained the difference between the curry I thought I was getting and the one delivered. They offered to make me the curry I wanted and delivered it for free very quickly! Outstanding customer service!!

Way too hot for a bhuna, normally bhuna's aren't red. The chapatis were cold and the side salad tasted like it was pickled.

IGNORE ALL STARS! The food never came, gave them 20 mins after delivery time confirmed then called, they were then closed! Not a good first impression at all. Very Disappointed!

First time visit, called on my way home from work. A small takeaway, but everything is smart, modern and clean. The kitchen area is visible from the counter area, which is good, and there's a seated waiting area. Service was ok, reasonably quick. There's no menu on display, had to pick up a takeway menu to read. The menu offers standard fare, and for an extra £1.30 they will provide a larger portion. I asked for this, but only received the standard portion. I thought the food was good; chicken rogan josh, rice and a plain naan. Just one thing to watch for; they takeaway food was placed in a paper carrier bag, which allowed the curry to leak through, leaving a curry stain in my car. Still, I enjoyed the food and will go back again, but will take my own plastic bag in case.

Lovely fresh food. Delivered in good time. Only negative was we ordered a medium spiced curry and it was very very spicy. Far hotter than normal! In fact I couldn't eat it all due to this!

Amazing! First time going after the re opening it looks spectacular, staff members are very kind and my grilled chicken burgers were ready on time, this has to be one of the best burger I have had in brighouse chicken was tender and the burger was filling, keep up the good work.👍🏽

The curry was nice but the kebab order was wrong, it came with sauce and no salad, I ordered salad and no sauce. The delivery guy couldn't find my house, I had to meet him on the main road, even though I left delivery instructions on the order.

Food was terrible. Chicken tikka was slop on a soggy naan and my chips were rock hard. What a waste of money.

The starter was lovely! Korma beautiful but not as much chicken as normal, garlic naan was a tad burnt on the top.

The only complaint I had was the bhuna tasted like it had about a bag of sugar in it. Really put me off and couldn't eat it so wouldn't order again.

Nice food, good portions and speedy delivery

The food I got was really nice. But I didn't get all my food that I payed for. Then I phoned up about it and I was told I didn't order them. They said they would sort it and bring me the food that they didn't bring the first time. When they came the second time the food was still not right. Iv never had any problems with them before but this has put me off.

When you order a cheese burger you expect a cheese burger not a plain burger

Food was greasy and the naan bread was clearly from a packet, rice was also heavily coloured for no reason.
