At this location staff members are constantly touching their faces, touching money and scratching themselves without sanitizing their hands afterwards. There are also staff cleaning, who seem like they want to be helpful and step in to hand out orders, but they are doing so immediately after touching bins, mops, and brooms. I have even seen a person who handles the fires grab them from the top constantly brushing their hands to the top of the fries. This is very unhygienic. Shockingly, hand sanitisers are not situated throughout the kitchen as a reminder to staff to remain hygienic. Today, my order was given to me on a tray when I ordered it to be taken away. The person working the counter was touching the fries at the front with his bare hands after touching several other things. He was baffled by my request to change the fries, which he didn’t honour. When I insisted again, he put the fries I received immediately back in the display, (THIS is indicative of a lapse in training from management and has many implications that management should explore). Then he got me another fries again touching them face on. I think another employee told him to throw those fries he just put back in the bin. (He should have done this already, in his head it was acceptable to give contaminated fries to another customer). I was frustrated at this point and just left. I threw the fries in the bin immediately upon getting home even though I was looking forward to them. The aloofness of this employee is also indicative of an unsuccessful training program.

right so basically, a took ma beltur of eh burd to mcds to celebrate 2 months and when I got my fish burger, It tasted less fishy than ma burd so a sniffed it and found out one a them wee lassie workers rubbed there cheesy flaps on ma fish o filet . NOT HAPPY..

Worse place to eat so far in Glasgow. A place for junkies to hang around. Awful staff as well. 3 stars is ok. Later when you reach 2 stars please closedown your shop.

Been in a few times during the past few weeks and have noticed how rude some of the head staff are to the other employees below them talking about them and making them feel little and let some staff away With murder and being horrible toward one’s they don’t know personally as it seems just wondering how to put this through to McDonald’s personally because a think it’s one of the managers of the shop thanks

My kiddos and husband Mark were very hungry after shopping at our weekly morrisons yesterday after school/work so i treated them to a mcdonalds! Not had one in a while so it was good fun. Chips were a bit soggy but other than that it was amazing ! Will try to go more often since my kids want their toys from there happy meals to make a collection lol

This is going to sound unbelievable but it's true, Visited this place on the 12th of November and was harassed aggressively several times by a member of staff over him having an issue with where I was standing to wait in the restaurant. Even though I was standing quiet with my daughter minding our own business but we moved several times just to keep the peace but guy kept following me, In the end had to raise my voice and told him to get lost, Thought I was about to get into some kind of fight with this guy, Which was shocking it escalated from just wanting to order some food into this incident, Also had my young daughter with me which made it worse. I've visited McDonald's restaurants all over the world and the staff have always been so positive and friendly but the Sauchiehall street branch is a whole other world. I don't know where they found these thugs. I would 100% recommend avoiding this place unless you're ready for an actual physical fight with the angry staff. I'm disappointed that I unknowingly had subjected my young Daughter to this thug member of staffs extremely strange behaviour. Disgusting place. I did complain to McDonald's and requested they watch the security footage and they replied apologising and sent some free meal vouchers and said they had a word with management. So not all bad ending was just such an unnecessary escalation.

Toilets were really grim and asked to use upstairs ones but told I couldn’t - when I explained that I couldn’t use these ones as they were filthy the operative sighed and rolled her eyes - I asked if she could come and check as she claimed they were clean - eventually I got to use some clean toilets upstairs - on a seperate occasion my daughter and I popped in before travelling home and again the top floor was being closed - when I asked where we were supposed to sit I was told it was for ‘security reasons’ There were easily 40 people and one table for 2 people !!! So my daughter and I were left wandering around looking for somewhere else to eat - NEVEr AGAIN

A problem free breakfast. Easy to use computer ordering system. Meals ready within a few minutes. Tables all cleared and clean. One of the better McDonalds

Walked in at 23.30pm, sober and calm. I’m a 48 year old female who wanted a bite to eat and a cup of tea and the security staff (actually only one man who wouldn’t identify himself) was rude and treated every body like they were drunken troublemakers. I would not want to go in here again and have no doubt that he will be the cause of most problems. Food was average as you expect.

Used to frequent this McDonald’s pre-pandemic after nights out and there was a good buzz and quick service. However, over the last 2 years they’ve clearly pivoted to a “JustEat” model where customers who are actually at the bricks and mortar store are made to wait outside as the kitchen prioritises online orders, letting 1/2 people in at a time. Waited for 30 minutes in a line of no more than 15 people - not exactly “fast” food anymore. I understand that online orders are bigger business these days, but I’d like to think they shouldn’t be of detriment to customers on your doorstep. A farcical way to run any business, never mind a fast food place.

I ordered a meal decide to have a lazy day on the Sunday spent £15.00 and at the time my app was showing delivered. So phoned up mcdonalds which gave me instructions to phone just eat and to tell them the incident, I was been told it was going under investigation and they will reply to me within 48 hours. Which they never done went bck and phoned mcdonalds and spoke to manager they said there is no much they can do. Which means I lost out and they gained so I said to manager youve to ask yourself where the meal went?? They replied the driver is under investigation aswell

Breakfast food for 2 was more than 25 mins late so we were late for work! This was ordred with Just Eat but the issue was with McDonalds as the Just Eat rider had to wait. Very poor!

A typical chain restaurant doing fast food. Always very busy with long queues. I always do takeout as the tables and floors don’t look very clean.

No real shock to find the same food and seating as most MacDonald's. Going down the automated route like most of them which doesn't make things any quicker. On 2 floors.

Very disappointed with the “freshly made” “wrap of the day” with rotten greens inside which is supposed to be put in bin .. shocking ..awful experience..☹️😟😟

Like a Normal McDonalds Its Got Food. My Favourite is 5 Chicken Selects and I Highly Recommend It To Anyone Looking for Something to Order There! Great Food and I WILL ALWAYS GO BACK THERE WHEN IM HUNGRY

Its a busy mcdonalds but this review is more for the staff who do a good job and never had any issues here.

Excellent breakfast and we received a very warm t "welcome to Glasgow" from the staff. Not sure if they were open all day or not.

When my order was ready employee found the ticket with the order number on the floor and put it on my tray. So unsanitary and disgusting.

Standard McDonald's fare....however...the shop is now split into 2...one half for orders...second for server.....works very well despite being very busy on a Saturday night.

I hadn't been here for a long time and was disappointed that the upper left was closed off during refurbishment. It was very difficult to find a free table and I felt under some pressure to finish my meal quickly so that others could have a table.

We go to McDonald's regularly because they sell the best tea and coffee around at a reasonable price. The doughnuts are nicest anywhere. The premises are well kept, and it just ticks all the boxes when you want something quick and easy

What the hell made me go in here. Tainted, smelly burgers, processed chips that must be 90% salt and a dingy kip full of vagrants and pram faces force feeding their unwanted offspring with toxic food.

You can't beat a cheeky McDs from time to time.The food is good as it can be. McDs is better than Burger King. Defo check McDs out.
