Me and a friend decided we were going to meet up for an orange hot chocolate and a chat I’ve never been here before only to do some shopping The staff were lovely the cafe was nice and clean and the orange hot chocolate was lush 😋

I think this is a wonderful store, I shop here twice a week, the produce is wonderful snd rhe staff are very very helpful

What can I say about this venue?It’s a typical M and S establishment, same food as in the store, which is good. We particularly like the Jacket Potatoes. The coffee is always very good, using pure coffee beans. I can’t say it’s particularly cheap, but it’s certainly same good quality food and drinks. You can get cheaper but not the same quality.

What a lovely apartment, very large with every thing there you would ever need, the decor is to a high standard.

Impressed they have Gluten free sandwiches, scones and soya milk so my partner was happy without having to compromise. My partner has celiac disease so this is very important to us to live a normal life. The fish finger sandwich was great very tasty and the coffee delicious. The air conditioning was a little overpowering but overall a pleasant experience for ladies who lunch

I visited the M & S cafe in Leigh on Saturday. I wanted to taste some good food since I had been working in Uganda for the last two months! The food was great as expected, as I've eaten there many times previously, and the service in the cafe was excellent. It's a tad on the expensive side, compared to some others, but worth it. All the staff were great but I'd like to pass on a special thank you to the lady who served me named Patricia for your lovely smile and happy helpful attitude. You helped!!

Although I've moved away this is by far my fave M&S. Good selection of food and drinks. Nice staff. Good parking. Not mad about the cafe, seems an afterthought to the design. Great store though.

Standard M&S cafe. Reasonably prices for sarnies etc. Less 'children running wild' than some of the other eateries on this retail park.

M&S Simply Food are all over London and conveniently located in most of the major train stations. This is my go to when I don't have formal dinner plans in London.You can pick up a sandwich or salad and put together a pretty affordable and healthy meal.

Cake after the gym! Why not. Generally pleasant & helpful staff in the cafe area, with an average selection of cakes & snacks for a small store cafe. Selection & range of food items is very good considering the size of the store.

Not been for a while following a poor experience. However, am pleased to say that at our last visit the service was good and the food up to M&S; standards. Pleased to say we will be back again soon.

Fui para hacer algunas compras y tomar un café, el hall de comida es muy bien diseñado, por supuesto con M&S; fue un poco caro para algunos artículos, pero también de muy buena calidad. El personal de la cafetería era muy amable y acogedor! La señorita que me atendió fue muy eficiente con mi café y siempre estaba sonriendo. El café era excelente y la sandwichera también era agradable.

Great for shopping food always very nice great deals on 2 for ten pounds with wine and the cafe is also very good food staff very friendly and helpfull

I ordered a mushroom toastie. The staff wanted to deliver someone else's order to me at the same time, then I discover the underside of the white bread is soggie, and not toasted(not a combination I appreciate). I know what not to order if I come again; will avoid it if I can.

As my wife is a regular shopper at M&S she always comes back with a delicious selection of food from the fresh stuff to the dine in for ten quid. Unbeatable value and quality.

Used to enjoy coming here.Not busy when we arrived. But despite this, had to wait ages to order. Our food was then given to someone else. It took so long for my replacement to arrive we'd already finished our drinks. I'd finished my food by the time my wife got hers. Shambles...

I found m & s cafe really nice in Leigh, the staff are so happy and friendly and very helpful.coffee great just what I expected and I love the current teacakes toasted. Great spot to meet up for a chat

You pay the money to get the quality. The food was brilliant and the tea was lovely, staff were helpful and attentive. Definitely worth paying the extra

After visiting Friday 1st July I won't be going back. Most of the staff are Rude and stand around chatting and ignoring customers, why other staff are trying to do three jobs in one. The decor is dull and there is no comfy chairs to relax in after shopping. There isnt much food selection at all.

I used to have Cappuccino's which are fab ! But with swimming and trying to diet have tea. The selection is like it's but that's the way they going nowadays, very helpful staff.

We visited the cafe on Sunday 5th June in the morning, it was lovely and fresh with very friendly staff. 3 lovely young ladies where behind the counter cleaning up and keeping busy. They where very helpful and friendly. The coffee was lovely and there was no wait on the food.

Lovely cafe with great choice of food. Well cooked and good coffee. Only let down is one member of staff who quite clearly does not like people! Everything appears to be too much trouble for her, even helping her own colleagues! There's always one! Overall a nice place for a post shopping drink.

Nice to sit on a sunny day as have outside chairs. Only thing is it was a bit pricy for what it was, it was in a bit of a windy area due to the location of the chairs(need a windbreaker!) and I didn't see any public toilets which I believe the nearest one is in Sainsburys

Been here several times and the food is good but then again it is what they sell in the shop so it should be.They do try and cater for most tastes with their choice of food but this can be limited depending on what time you call. I normally go for toasted sandwich and my wife the tomato and basil soup which is served with a couple of small rolls. Service is always good and always helpful.

Yes we would agree with the other postings , it can be cold , especially if it's cold in Leigh , this outlet is on the corner of a very , very large retail unit comprising of other retailer & gets the wind from the north west . The cafe menu is the usual standard good value selection The supermarket is brilliant full of goodies than were unavailable in Leigh from a food outlet , so thank you Marks Spencer for the investment -- saves all that hassle of driving to Warrington

Good selection but get there early for specials Cafe has no atmosphere and very cold inside, too near fridges and freezer stops us going in.Very basic and uncomfortouble . Is this because of the area?

Food is well stocked, fresh and displayed pleasingly. Staff are always helpful and friendly. A "gem" for Leigh and surrounding areas and "bridges that gap" of having to travel to other towns and battle with finding car parking and traffic congestion.

had breakfast here for the first time because sainsburys had a power cutat m n s you get 3 pieces of toast in my opionion it was too much the coffee was not as good as sainsburys, which is next doorin future i will be back at sainsburys cafe is a lot nicer the m n s in leigh is not the best one very badly laid out

Had lunch here last week. The first thing we noticed was how cold the place was, so we moved tables but it wasn't much better. They saved themselves though by serving a lovely lunch, we had a mixture of soup, jackets with great portions of fillings, sandwiches and cakes. Staff were really friendly and I observed how good they were with the elderly guests. Will def return but please warm the place up!!

For an M&S cafe the one in Leigh is certainly not what you would expect. Cafe area is more like a factory cafeteria with just temporary walls and pretty unwelcoming stuff hanging off the ceiling. Good coffee and friendly staff

Having used M & S for coffee at other branches, (Middlebrook, Bolton etc) i really did expect to received the same atmosphere, attitude and surroundings here as i normally get fro M & S, however we found the cafe area cold in both temperature from the air conditioning, the furniture and decor is modern & comfortable enough, but doesn't create any ambiance or warmth.Staff were indifferent and robotic, we were definitely a transaction and not an interaction.To grab a quick coffee here, great, to meet up with friends/family for a coffee and a chat... not so great.I really hope M & S have a rethink about this outlet.

Went in for the first time last week, the place is newly opened, I visited some friends and relations who were having a brunch outside in the covered restaurant area. The food served was first class and so was the helpful staff. Highly reccommended.

So, you have lived in a part of the world where the society appreciates a good coffee (Australia) because of work you find yourself in Leigh, where having tried just about everywhere locally you begin to wonder if such a thing exists. Then after a session in the gym you think I wonder what the coffee is like in here? Bingo..........at last a Barista who knows and understands coffee. Result a good coffee, well flat white anyway. The young lads name is Scott and he brews a decent coffee, get in quick before he moves on.
