M & S Café in South Gloucestershire

Never considered writing a review on a cafe but honestly outstanding service from the staff especially Lilly. Lovely cup of coffee too

Omg, I love the tuna toasted sandwiches here

The cafe was in the middle of the m and s upper level and was in a pretty small space. The seating was cramped and crowded, and as we attended a busy time, it was difficult to get a seat. The staff seemed run off their feet and service was slow.

The food . The lunch was not what I expected . Not, home food feel . I was not impressed. I think tea and cake appeared more appealing . I will return and try brunch and cakes .the place is lovely and the prices are very fair.

Busy cafe many things missing off the menu which should be marked up on the board as making a decision at the cashpoint makes people feel under pressure.

Unfortunately they ran out of the food we wanted. Soup was cold and young girl tidying up was only doing half-heartedly.

Not too many food choices but the quality is good. The manager is friendly too.

Coffee and food always good. Lovely staff. They need more staff first thing as often a queue waiting while they are still trying to set up.

Always such a long wait ...the staff however are friendly and efficient but are run off their feet.

Can't complain, really. Ordering food was quick, and it didn't take long to be seated. Service was relatively quick, also. Food was the right temperature and good value for money.

Great coffee. Limited selection of cakes at the time of my visit. Really friendly service.

I don't very often go to the M&S cafe because I thought it would be overpriced but I was pleasantly surprised when a slice of cake and a cup of tea came to approx £5. The service was really good. I was feeding the baby at the till and the lady offered to bring my drink and cake over. A chap brought it over in the end but he was very thoughtful and got me some sugar too! Will definitely be returning.

Sooooo slooow!!!! The coffee making was so slow the woman making them really needed to speed up!! The tables were all covered with dirty dishes!!!

Good quality food, but not a place to relax and enjoy a treat. Service slow, and atmosphere functional.

Queued for 25 minutes for a coffee and some toast. Toast took 15 minutes and then no jam. Paid over £7 for that.

Varied menu and exceptionally prompt service!

Need to open a 2nd till when busy, less talking amongst the staff and more customer service!

The cafe at M&S is a great place for a good selection of snacks, tea and coffee. The staff are welcoming and efficient. Good food at reasonable prices.

On here, your cafe opening time states its 8am. However, once in the store, the cafe opens at 9am !!! Incompetence on the part of management that you don't think customers check here before they leave home !!!!

Lovely cafe. Very friendly helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Very clean and tidy. Delicious Mushroom & Emmental sourdough toastie. Best one I've ever tasted. Very refreshing pot of decaf tea. Throughly recommend this cafe.

Very busy when we went. Staff were doing an excellent job serving people and making coffees. Food was delicious, but tables needed to be cleaned and tidied so more people could sit down.

Busy but staff served as quickly as possible. Food hot. Clean surroundings.

M&S food, M&S prices. Good though, service was a bit slow, but it was busy. Sadly didnt leave much time for browsing in my lunchbreak.

Good social distance, menu is minimal but good, winter flavour drinks available.

Always liked this place for a coffee nice to take a break when shopping.

Rest in peace. Slow service, awful coffee all served in a warehouse. Wonder why this business is struggling so badly.

Good soup and does some gluten free lunch options

This M&S café is not as good as it used to be. It is looking a little tired and dated. Table clearance is slow. Some staff are a bit pushy, giving their names asking for you to complete a survey about your visit. This makes them very slow serving at the till and queues start to form.

Lovely food and ambiance. The staff are very attentive and give very good service. We held a birthday dinner there on a Sunday afternoon which was a large group. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a very enjoyable occasion.

VERY Helpful staff. I used to fit M& S clothes but either I have changed shape and size or they have. Fortunately the staff collected different sizes shapes and Lengths for me and sorted things out.

Nice shop, lovely little cafe, good food court

The foodhall is fairly expensive with a small range. Quality is not that much better than cheaper supermarkets these days. The clothes side is typical M&S- quality, but aimed at the older crowd. Not exciting

Disappointing compared to the superb M&S store in Weston Super Mare

Great place to shop, lovely also to have a tea or coffee,staff so helpful, can buy almost anything there, brilliant.

This is food court easy parking, easy access on ground floor. Definitely access for wheelchairs/prams. Has lovely cafe section with good snackie menu. I found groceries well stocked & always fresh. Good variety of chilled, wines, bakery & regular foods. Also has clean toilets with wheel chair access.

Very slow. Tea cups dirty. Tables dirty. Layout means staff have to squeeze past customers with trays continuously.

Excellent coffee healthy tasty salads. Such a pity that there's no view of the outside from the cafe and nobody appears to have bothered to complete the ceiling. But helpful and friendly staff

Good stock and cafe love cheese scones. Addicted to them with coffee.
