Friendly attentive staff the sort of staff you just don't normally get in chains. Made my morning just that little bit better

The Asian manager here is great. He remembers your previous orders makes jokes and connects with customers. The problem is this place stinks. You’ll get smoky food smells on your clothes. They need an open window or extractor fan above the oven

One of the friendliest coffee shop services i have received. The team were friendly and efficient and gave a service with a smile and it was nice to be spoken to whilst waiting for my order to be prepared. Highly recommend

The place needs a good clean. We had to sit on the last available sofa & chairs situated next to the counter, which was absolutely filthy along with the floor. One member of Staff needs lessons in public relations as a 2 year old with us was accused of making a perfectly round (drilled) hole in the plaster board above the sofa & telling us it would cost a lot to repair it!! Her two approaches to us were handled very bad and accusingly.

Staff were great here. We only had coffee, which was good. One guy (possibly the manager or team leader) welcomed us as we came in, talked to us when we sat down, and was also chatty as we left. He is a star. Thanks :-)

Another reminder of why I hate Costa so much. The armchairs are worn out and filthy. I asked for a wet latte and checked they knew that meant 'no froth" what came out was frothy. I explained that when I said no froth I meant no froth. All I got was a blank look. Use your local independent. Avoid Costa.

Very nice pigs in blanket toasties. Service could be improved as a bit slow.

I ordered vanilla iced latte . It was too mad . There is not even a hint of vanilla in there . Last time a lady made me same latte and it tasted so good . Eww I left whole coffee like this. Zero star to coffee

Definitely one of the better Costas out there! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and make a decent coffee! It can be pot luck as to whether you get one of the "comfy" chairs or not. Not an issue for me personally but just Something to be mindful of if that's what you're hoping for as it's always busy! As it's not the biggest Costa and combined with it usually being busy all the time it can sometimes get quite noisy, again not too much of an issue for me personally but something to bear in mind if you're after a quiet coffee. Overall though always a decent place to go to grab a coffee!

Not happy, it was busy short staffed. I understood being given a take away cup to drink in,. I ordered a toasty, was given in a takeaway box. I was not happy when I asked for a plate as I was eating in, they were not happy to give me a plate. I was not given a knife or serviette. When the queue died down, one member clearing tables, the other on her phone. Won't be going back

Nice cosy Costa. The staff are good, I asked for my wrap to be reheated because it wasn't very warm the first time and they did it no hassles.

Small coffee shop on the retail park, had to wait a while to get served but once served coffee was good and there were plenty of free tables

Friendly efficient staff. Used the £1 cake offer today when you buy a drink. The only thing I don't like is that aren't any blue badge parking spaces at that end of the car park

You got to love a Costa. The staff at Abbey Wood are welcoming, friendly and very helpful it's always a pleasure to go in for a coffee. I highly recommend it.

Food OK. Service very slow. Atmosphere flat.

We're quickly served by 2 very pleasant assistants, who were very busy. We were able to get a seat and no pressure to vacate. We had a panini, no complaints at all.

Tables were cluttered service in seating area slow to clear, only two servers behind counter, but polite.

I got the breakfast dea:l bacon bap for £2 when I bought my medium coffee. Quite a civilised way to start the day.

Polite staff, good selection of food available

Very bad with click and collect. I have ordered 2 large drinks but someone else took my order they gave me regular drink instead of my original order. I don’t understand why I would be liable for something someone did 🧐

This is definitely the best Costa Coffee outlet. The longest cue ever, extremely busy. I had to share my table with other folks. Missing the Mac & Cheese Toasty.

Good coffee and good service. The flow out from the coffee shop needs sorting out as tables get in the way.

They only had enough oat milk for one small drink. Since they swapped suppliers they seem to always be low/out. The staff were super nice

Absolutely incompetent and rude staff. Second year in row sixth time there trying to use valid, fresh Costa coffee gift cards and they say sorry invalid, out of date etc etc. Go to any other place and they go through straight away. I tend to get a few hundred pounds a year of gift cards that people buy me. Visit all other branches of costa coffee often. Rude staff and grubby place!!!! Absolute joke of a place that I’ve had enough of. I wouldn’t mind so much but last time I complained a year ago head office said they would pass this on to the Regional Manager to sort out. Obviously after six visits he’s done nothing. I will literally never go to this place again.

I went in early so was severed quick and was pleased with the choice of gluten free cakes just a shame no sandwich

It's a Costa 🤷🏾‍♂️ Busy place at the time of visit which is ok by me. Big selection of beverages as we would expect, as well as sweet sticky treats, savory snacks and the well oiled conveyor belt of coffee making. I just struggle to get excited about visiting a Costa.

Great place. Prices are high but they sell fantastic smoothies and cakes 😋

Bear in mind you might be waiting a while as it's a very busy location, that being said the staff were very polite and friendly and the store was very clean, would go again!

Speedy service, generic customer, displays quite messy

The venue was quiet and 3 members of staff on duty. Several tables remained uncleaned for the entire length of our visit and whilst there were empty tables we struggled to find a clean one. I then witnessed a couple sitting down at a dirty table where the staff member cleared away the dirty cups but made no effort whatsoever to sanitise the table. The clear complacency of the team about covid was evident and left me with no confidence that sanitising protocols were being followed.

Nice cheese ploughman sandwiches.

Enjoyed the cappuccino but bought a croissant to go with it, never asked me if I wanted it warm or jam or butter. Gave it on a plate cold?? I would like to have been asked and given a choice.

Lovely place and outside sesting

I much prefer this Costa branch too the branch in Bradley Stoke. Nothing wrong with the coffee there, it's the feel of the place. It's so dark. Whereas this branch in Filton feels light and airy. Weird I know, but that's how I feel. Great coffee, thanks.

I visited that store on many occasions between October 2019 and March 2020 when I was living in the area. I always found the staff very accomodating, the place very pleasant and the drinks spot on.

Freezing cold inside and grubby. Actually do not think that the AC should be on due to covid restrictions!! It was blowing freezing air at us we both ended up with awful migraines and sickness .... this can not be right!

I visited the store on Thursday morning with my 2 year old and my baby. The moment I walked through the door and joined the queue a really kind young man came up and asked me if I wanted him to reserve a table for me with a high chair. After I ordered my food the lady behind the counter kindly carried my tray to my table for me. This was my 1st visit to a coffee shop with my 2 year old and 5 month old by myself and I was a bit nervous about all the little logistics of how it would all play out but the kind gestures from the staff making my life so much easier without me even having to ask really made an impact and made the experience so much nicer for me! I wish I had taken the name of the man to thank him for being so thoughtful, I got the impressing he might be the supervisor or manager. I will certainly be returning with the kids for a lovely trip out again soon!

Really short queue combined with quick till service. Wide selection of pastries etc. Tables well cleaned and available.

Tables are dirty as always. Very poor quality of services. Coffee made is very poor made in a hurry,taste like a coffee from the sachet.

Costa is my upmost favourite coffee barrista service and this store is my regular store. It is always looking clean and tidy and staff are very pro actively reminding customers of social social distancing👍🏼👍🏽. However, lately at this store i felt a little let down as the quality of the coffee preparation especially the flat white is more like a milky coffee, not the frothy silky style im use to at the other costa's or how it use to be here. Also i placed an order to collect my coffee and a sausage bap however on the app the £2.00 breakfast deal didn't work and when i went to collect there was no sausage bap available for this store. Also I noticed that this store now charge more for takeaway than sitting in which i believe is reverse to how it should be dont get me wrong i get there encouraging more people to sit in but correct me if im wrong other Costa's are not doing this? I still enjoy Costa and will return but i only hope the quality gets back to normal.

Typical Costa, but not convinced the seating made all customers 1m apart let alone 2m, therefore had a take out.

Haven’t been here for a year or so and really impressed with the measures in place to minimise the risk of COVID spread. Ladies serving were as friendly and efficient as they ever were. Table ordering system also a good new feature. Well done all.

Extremely clean, staff reminding people above the check in stuff for covid. Good coffee and great service. Tables for working if you so desire. No WiFi but nearby restaurants have open WiFi that you can likely pick up.

Visited recently. Very well set out social distancing signs and hand sanitizer staff very helpful, friendly and polite. Obviously can't comment on the drink as it's always delicious no other words so glad it's reopened. Plenty of places to sit outside to drink
