M & S in Stafford

I didn't know they were planning to film the new ice age movie here Jokes aside, I could see my own breath when walking around the shop. The tomato soup was nice as well as the burrito however. Sad to say that 7 out of 10 tables were unacceptably unclean

Shout out to the staff especially the young man who kept his cool in the face of stupidity and he even kept apologising for something beyond his control. Well done 👏👏👏

Hygiene standards used to be good here however, based on todays observations, they have been allowed to drop below acceptable levels. 2 of the staff in the coffee area had long hair, not tied back and were not wearing hair nets. I of them was obviously wearing her own jumper. This is not permitted under food hygiene regulations.....a person must not wear clothing that they come to work in. Uniforms must be provided to change into on arrival for work and change again when leaving

At last a M&S cafe where the staff worked well together and served good food .Just a little walk out of the centre of Stone town

Did what it said on the tin. Great that it is starting to cater for a wider menu after lockdown. Pleasent surroundings, staff and atmosphere. Fantastic pit stop. Enjoyable for all and would reccommend a visit to all.

Arrived in Stone after walking along the Canal. The first sight to greet me was the M&S with cafe with canal side seating and views. I just had to stop for a morning coffee. Service was fast and efficient and the coffee was excellent. A great start to the day.

Modern cafe but clean, tidy, varied sandwich, cake and light food if you are shopping or just want somewhere to stop. Lovely staff

Thank you M & S for coming to Stone - nothing better than a session at the Gym next door and catching up with friends in the coffee shop afterwards before picking up something healthy (or unhealthy!) for dinner. Always a regular

Love this store you can grab a light bite and a coffee nice chose of hot and cold meals The store is really lovely good quality very help full

Stopped off at M&S on the M6 near Stoke-on-Trent for a sandwich.Nice selection of Gluten Free sandwiches - though tried to overcharge at the till, as they had the wrong code entered apparently! Took a while and the manager to fix!Nice enough Egg Cress Gluten Free Sandwich though.

Nice to see Stone has a decent upmarket supermarket. Use it for the nicer things in life. Good selection of food, and quite a lot of ready meals.

Coffee & snacks freshly prepared in small kitchen.staff varied some very friendly & happy others a tad miserable.. just luck ! Food good & nice coffee. Pleasant setting alongside canal

We visit regularly; I cannot fault the staff for their friendliness, service, taking a personal interest in customers and their needs.... The food is always great; it’s freshly prepared to order & promptly served to us. Another wonderful thing about Stone is that people speak to each other, don’t merely walk about ignoring others; something reflected in this M&S store. The café overlooks the Canal, which seems well-used, there are pathways alongside too, which are popular. There’s a play area adjacent - provided by the Borough Council I think? - which seems popular. The staff are always pleasant & helpful; they go out of their way to provide such a great service to us. There’s a relaxed atmosphere here. Glad to see a success. Thank you for such great service xx

Nice for tea,coffee and snacks usual M & S good standard as expected,friendly staff and clean environment

On a cold day, we took a short walk along the canal only to find a good paved short cut to this M&S cafe.What relief to find a light, airy cafe with a lovely canal view. This well thought out aspect gives the whole cafe a good view.As expected with this business, all the usual favourites were available. The staff couldn't be more helpful.Decaffeinated tea available, the only problem was how to avoid the lovely sponge cakes.Thank you for a great cup of tea on such a cold day.Take a while to look at the ceramic collection displayed outside the cafe, on the corner. Such a good display to represent local groups, using skills that highlight regional heritage.
