I am a regular visitor of the M & M kebabs in Avonmouth. I thought they were all the same and dropped in as was nearby. Never had a bad one from Avonmouth branch. Ordered 3 small lamb doner kebabs. The pitta breads was slightly burned. The staff did double check and rather changing it they decided to serve it and it only got hard and un-eatable. Similarly the lamb doner was salty, hard and definitely overcooked. Despite all the staff were friendly.

It's OK if you are drunk and you need to eat something. In any other way, it is just the average kebab available in Bristol. You will not mis anything if you will skip it. The river of garlic sauce will fully cover the taste of anything which you will get in your kebab. There is no composition done for your kebab, it's just chaos and random stuff added together. "Lamb" is OK but it is definitely lower quality. Definitely much better option is to have chicken.

This is very nice place stay open till late staff is very nice. Work happily under load . Very fresh food . Best one.

Prices seem to have gone up but find there never seems to be much salad left or run out of it. Happened on a few occasions now.

So I order alot from here normally a late order due to getting home from work and to night I ordered a mix meat and chips which was £11.18 it came wiv hardly no doner meat and 3 little bits of chicken doner meat am disgusted and the bloke who delivered it had a face like thunder very disserpointed .. never had an issue before

I wish I could do a 0 rating for this place as I am really angry and disappointed due to the awful experience I’ve endured. We normally order from the M&M store in Henbury however it was closed when we went to order so we bought from this store instead on Christmas Eve because of what we thought was a good hygiene rating. Myself and my partner always eat the same food as my in-laws as we live in the same household and days leading up until we had a kebab from here we all shared the same meals. Anyway we order a lamb doner kebab and the next day (Christmas Day) we are violently ill (both within the space of the same hour) and are awake all night, constantly throwing up and cannot move due to severe stomach cramps. We ring 111 to get some advice and the doctors confirmed this illness came from this kebab and isn’t a stomach bug as we had thought due to the rest of the family not being poorly from other foods we had eaten in the days prior. We didn’t have any previous illness to this and the pain lasted all over Christmas. We cancelled family coming over during this time of the year because of how poorly we were and couldn’t move due to the pain we were in and we missed valuable time spent with elderly grandparents that we won’t be able to get back. I was a regular customer of M&Ms but now I will refuse to ever eat here again due to my experience.

Terrific doner wrap from boss man every time

This used to be so good. Now awful. 1 hour 40 minutes not acceptable for delivery. 2nd time in 3 orders over 1 hour and a half. Food stone cold, and much less than before. Used them a lot, at least once a week / fortnight, but never again

The food is okay, overpriced for the portion size. The service is awful, no hello, please, thank you - nothing.

I couldn't find a taxi back to my hotel so the kind guys in the shop offered to give me a lift home which was so helpful. I didn't even buy anything front there. Amazing!

Ordered a chicken wrap and the sign very clearly showed a shish but ended up with a donner but at least it was quick. Sauce game is weak (both chili and garlic, didn't feel a thing) and the whole thing fell apart in the foil cause it wasn't wrapped properly at the bottom. 3* says it all. If you're caught out on a walk home with a big day ahead fair enough, but you could do a lot better in Bristol so respect yourself.

Very disappointed this time as I was always being a regular customer because it was my favourite kebab shop in Bristol. My usual take away would always be chicken shish wrap, its fresh, its light, and tasty too. I also enjoy watching while it's on top the charcoal like barbecue. Last night I ordered and while I was paying for my food, his other colleague was asking me about the topping like lettuce and stuff. I was like what!!!! That's quick and I don't forget that cheeky smile like he is somehow saying "get on with it" I started to eat my wrap and tasted the chicken WAS NOT FRESH AND IT WAS HARD, it was a complete disappointment. That is not nice at all, people come to buy a fresh food not a left over from yesterday or something.

Ordered from M&M hundreds of times and I have never been disappointed. Quick delivery, great portions and easily the best kebabs in Bristol!

Order for collection, order will be ready in 10 minutes. Arrive after 20 minutes, order not ready please wait 5 minutes... took a further 10, they were not busy and it should only.take 8 minutes to prepare a pizza. Pretty sure they're using analogue cheese but can't be certain... just tastes funny. 1 star extra as they have a 5 star hygiene rating.

The staff are always polite and friendly and the price's are reasonable too.

I order from here many times before and food has been brill but tonight it wasn't tasted horrible and was cold when I called up he said he couldn't do anything but would tell manager and basically we had this food here untouched apart from a mouthful and we lost atr money I explained I was diabetic and he said he couldn't do anything what did I want him to do and said he's not a doctor he was very rude and wA shouting at me

I usually go there but lately the food didn’t taste good as also the place was not hygiene

I had chicken wings and chips and was it was leng , crispy and juicy wings and crispy chips , would defo go again

Chicken Shish always fresh, cooked there and then and tender, tastes like holiday chicken. With salad and pitta it isn’t too naughty either… Once drunkenly got pizza and it was really good. 😋

Really bad effort with the food. Bad effort to get the orders right on what people want. No drink included when we ordered one to come with the order. Garlic bread burnt (literally). Cheese looks like plastic.

Went in on a Saturday night, food was alright but be careful if you pay on card.....!! The guy said my card didn't work and asked me to do the transaction again. I didn't think too much of it at the time. The next day when checking my online banking I could see I had been charged twice. It was late and I had had a couple of drinks so maybe they thought I wouldn't notice and were trying it on, I don't know... ended up paying £30,00 for 2 chicken burgers and chips!

The people were rude and they didn't understand English I couldn't speak with them probably I ordered food 59minits ago and I called them didn't understand me again and said it's been 40 minutes which wasn't and he was shouting down the phone saying the driver is up the road 5 minutes away which I find strange and I said I don't want it I cancelled it that I ordered somewhere else and he shouted said don't order again and put the phone down and the driver arrived in 1 hour and 5 minutes I only live 5 minutes away and I said I don't want it and he didn't understand very bad service and rude attitude expecting me to have cold food and charging me 17 pound for large kebab and medium kebab with 2 cans

Ordered online, the driver didn't arrive. Attempted to call them, "line busy". Alright. So not only I waited for the food for nothing... My money won't get refunded, and they didn't even pick-up and say " look mate we are sleeping here". It will be a lot of fun with consumer protection :D enjoy

Awful experience, very disappointed in the quality and service of food, ordered food when the shop was empty, even with 5 'chefs' it took them 30 minutes to prepare a portion of chips and a wrap (despite having ordered a shish kebab). A group of 6 people who entered 10 minutes after me, were served the exact same meal before my order was complete. M&M in the city center is worlds ahead, came here thinking the quality and service would be the same, how wrong were we...

Chips were a waste of time and money .

Couldnt find any place to eat, then we found these champions and oh my god aren't we glad. We had donner meat and chips and a 1/2lb cheese burger and chips. Couldnt find fault with any of it! Absolutely amazing food. Super tasty! All freshly cooked. Sweet chilli sauce was the best sauce we've ever tasted. Would 100% recommend !

Superb service extremely friendly manager and staff l have been a customer for nearly twenty years the meals tasty ( usually have kebab with extra salad) when they closed for annual holidays l tried others nearby just no comparison( rather suspicious looking at a few negative reviews think not genuine !) in all the years never been disappointed apart from saying portions very generous !

Food is disgusting, looks bad, smells bad, taste bad. I ordered a donner meat and fries, the donner meat had an unusual light colour to it, with an unusual shiny coat, felt like plastic and tasted and smelt like dog food, I wish I was exaggerating, as I had to go the night hungry because I refused to eat the food served, the fries tasted like old socks, very dry unsalted and stale, would find better food in the bins outside burger King. Very disappointing

Great location right in the middle of Whiteladies. Good place to order a take away pizza, donner, or kebab. I got my chicken pizza really fast plus complimentary soft drink. The atmosphere is friendly. The shop is quite lively, especially in the evening. And they work till late for takeaways. The prices are a bit higher than expected.

Just paid £12 on deliveroo for a 'kebab' which came with no salad and took nearly an hour to arrive. Will never buy from them again.

This is not the first bad experience I have with this take away but will just speak about last one: today afternoon I went there and checked the menu to find out that prices went up big time don’t know why except that the shop owners trying to take advantage of the pandemic to charge people extra but anyway had no choice but to order as my kids were with me. I ordered one large mix meat pizza and one medium size vegetarian pizza and one shish kabab then when I tried to pay by card and as usual (same happened twice before at the same shop) I tried my card but it didn’t work then been told my card not working despite I just used it in grocery shop just in front of this take away and eventually I had to pay cash (I know they just prefer to take cash to no declare it to tax man) then wait for my order then when ready I picked it up and left. At home and when open the pizza noticed that most of it is just very greasy dough and very little portion of the material on top and when tried the mix meat pizza there was very bad wearied bad taste and looks like the meat they used is out of date or went bad long time ago so had to trash the whole pizza. Then we tried the shish kabab thinking maybe that would make it up but meat was chewing like chewing gum and so difficult to eat as obviously they used bad meat full of fat or whatever make it chewing. I will never go to that shop again and don’t advice anyone to do.

I will never recommend this place. They are unfriendly and do not know how to welcome customers. Plus it is more expensive than many other restaurants in the city. The way they make sandwiches is not professional.

Garlic bread had no flavour of garlic or tell tale green flecks of herb usually found in a garlic butter. Just paid £2.80 for toast with slightly burnt edges.

I ordered 3 pizzas from here last night 2 of which i still have UN touched they arrived an hour late and cold and smashed my partner was so hungry he just ate 1 of them which was suppose to be Hawaiian but had mushrooms on when it states ham.and pineapple ,on menu ive taken pics if i can upload i will!! the contact details on just eat are NOT correct so i couldnt and still can't contact m&m directly😡 terrible customer service 😡and cold smashed up food is not acceptable if i could give no stars i would!! this is my first time writing a BAD review so hope this is helpful id advise against ordering from here atall i did manage to get a refund for 1 pizza but as i actually ate NONE of them im disppointed to say the least so no stars from me

Me and my friend ordered a chicken shish kebab each Sunday 17th March Only to find out until it was to late to go back to complain, he only cooked one, we both payed for two.

Got to try the chicken kebab. Taste was good , potion size was good, but a bit pricey and that's me comparing it to other cities. Definitely will come back here next time I am in Bristol. Must try!

The BEST Kebabs in Bristol IMHO

Done a big order most was ok but pizza taste of cleaning products when I rang shop with complaint they constantly called me a liar and hung up I have the pizza here for proof as they refused to refund or replace the pizza....trading standards will be made aware of this if I hear nothing back

Came to my house was rude threatened me with the police wen I never even ordered food

They only accept cash - no cards

I love their pizza which is affordable and the best in Bristol in my opinion.
