Good food, but way too much overcharged. On top of this, the service charge is a little over £8 per table. The restaurant employs non trained waiters who are dependent to be told by customers. The atmosphere is fantastic.

I had the opportunity to have a meal with some friends from West London, so we chose this small Filipino eatery. 🗺️ When people talk about food, certain countries immediately bring specific dishes to mind. For example, France → cheese & red wine, Italy → pasta & pizza, Sweden → surströmming, Iceland → fermented shark, and so on. 🌐 However, when it comes to the Philippines, my mind goes blank, like the uncharted depths of the Mariana Trench – a complete knowledge void. So, at this little eatery, we decided to order a platter because it had a bit of everything. 🍖 It turned out to be unexpectedly delicious. The crispy pork belly was crunchy and fragrant, bursting with juice at every bite. The grilled chicken wings were tender and tasty, and the soup, which had a lot of lemon juice, was tangy and savoury, incredibly appetising. It also came with vegetables, small pickles, fruit, and various dipping sauces. 🍛 Unfortunately, the three dishes we initially wanted were unavailable, so we added two more: one was sausage with rice, and the other was "braised pork". 🌭 From the menu, we thought the sausage with rice would be slices of sausage stir-fried, but it turned out to be a whole sausage. It was soft, tender, and slightly sweet, not greasy at all, possibly containing some fruit, and with a low-fat content, making it very refreshing. 🍲 The "braised pork" was named because the description resembled braised pork, but what arrived was "red cooked meat." It was the only dish out of everything we ordered that wasn't particularly impressive. The rest were very tasty and worth a second visit.

Absolutely perfect Filipino restaurant. Family run, small, friendly staff, outstanding food! Could not be better! 11/10!! My nanny growing up was Filipina, and I remember exactly the food and Lutong Pinoy was spot on! Thank you so much! Was the highlight of my whole trip to London. The adobo was delicious, the bistek just perfect (the small amount of chili you added really made the dish wonderful), the lumpia was homemade, halo halo was perfect, and the bangus/milkfish exactly how my brother and I remembered! So thank you so much Lutong Pinoy for bringing my childhood back to me. That is priceless. With love from America, Ricky 😁

To be honest, it was my first time trying some Filipino main course and I am unsure if it is authentic or no, but one thing that I can say is the dessert is not a good option here. I rather liked the stir fried vegetables and then soup in the pot (which had tamarind and okra with pork base) with rice. Overall, I can say that as a spice loving person, this place is not for me, while my friends enjoyed there.

Tasty and homey Filipino food. Sisig and Kaldereta just hit the spot! My Caribbean husband love it. Worth the trip to London. Finally tried Batangas Lomi. [Flipino food review]. Lomi is a comforting noodle dish of egg noodles in a thick soup made with eggs, crispy pork, liver. There are a few places in London that serve it. The one at Adela was beef lomi and this place was pork so went here. Spoon and rice also have it but I don't fancy eating it from a paper bowl with disposable cutlery for the same price. This other place offers chicken, prawn or pork lomi which are alarm bells to me because it could mean the same broth where they just add the proteins. Although, the lomi took ages, it was worth waiting for and service was warm and friendly. When the lomi arrived, I was a bit disappointed they were udon noodles and not egg like Adela. Luckily, it was delicious. The soup was thick and moreish with whole black peppercorns that balance the chicharon. You will also find chunks of crispy pork belly, liver, crispy garlic in the broth. The liver was a bit too hard boiled though so inedible for my picky standards ie not soft and velvety. Lomi is similar to the Chinese and Malaysian Watanho but much nicer because the of the tasty broth and the noodles are not panfried. The broth is pure savoury goodness unlike Chi/malay sweet broth. Lomi also reminds me of Hong Kong doggie noodles and pin noodles in a thick soup but much nicer because of the quality meats unlike the decomposing meat they use which the locals are used to or have not tried fresh meat before.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Employees take the piss. At first me and my friends went inside and were informed to queue outside, they never mentioned how long we were going to queue for. And this is where we made a mistake for queuing for this place. There was only a group of four parties before us and we ended up waiting for 45 mins standing outside. There was also a group of people who were the employees friends and they were well accommodated and given menus to look at. Whereas nobody came to give us anything. We got sat down, ordered our food (three meat dishes, two rice, one dessert and two beers). Expecting to have our food in 10-15 mins. BUT NO. Took 10 mins for drinks to come. And another 20 min wait for dessert for come first???? I’ve never seen any restaurants who serve dessert first. Then the rice came, then one meat dish. We finished the meats and waited for another 30mins for the other dishes to come BUT IT NEVER CAME. We finally confronted the employees and they said they “accidentally” gave our food to their friends… a minute later they brought us the second plate of food we ordered. And said the third dish is going to take too long to make so they cancelled it. (At that point we already waited for an hour, so how long do you need to make food?) This whole experience took us from 8pm to 10:15pm. The food was cold when we were waiting, it was not enjoyable. I asked this waitress to take off our service charge and she looked at me with this weird smile on her face and we still HAD TO PAY FOR SERVICE CHARGE even though there was absolutely no service? Only one waitress was apologetic and kind. But the man who I believe is the manager and another woman who had a fringe were careless and odd. Hands down the slowest and worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant. Good luck continuing your business with attitudes like this. On a side note, the food was tasty, but small in portion, and got too cold because took too long to come.

Seated outside. While the food was nice, service was very poor. We literally had to get up at least 4x to check up on our order. It took about 45mins wait for our mains, while desserts took another 45 mins. We ordered coffee along with the desserts, they served the coffee first and the dessert came 45mins later after multiple reminders abd when the coffee was already cold. We followed up on our desserts twice only to be told that one of them was unavailable. Staff should first check availability before accepting an order. Staff are stretched with no eye for detail of their service...simple incompetency. Please note that table next to us had their food served on time, so there is variation in their service, so its a matter of luck, we just had it bad that day.

I recently dined at Lutong Pinoy in Earls Court and found the experience to be average, rating it 3 out of 5 stars. While the food was decent, I couldn't help but notice that all the items on the menu seemed to be overpriced. We celebrated my sister's birthday here as recommended by my niece. We were not disappointed. Though u see food star rating was 4 only..,let me explain why. We ordered 3 types of Bilao or shared platter to be able to cover more and different foods coz it was for 10 people. The serving was quick and all food was hot and presented in a good lay out..,it was really mouth watering! The food tasted good except the tilapia,it was fried well but the fish has an after taste mud like which is sometimes typical for tilapia, sadly ours was like that, secondly is the marinated liempo,it was almost perfect except it was chewy. If it has been been simmer a bit more time to come out tender,it would have been a perfect liempo as the taste was really good,so was not able to enjoy much too. The rest of the food in the bilao like daing, bbq wings, pakbet, sinigang na pork, pork & prawn bbq was really good plus a reslly sweet sliced orange was included. Also, the rice portion inside the bilao was in small portion, hopefully they will add a little bit more and instead of salad leaves,it would have more ideal to put kinayod na manggang hilaw (grated green manggo) and atchara to complement the fish and meat alikes. The place was really tiny but I think during good weather, they could extend their chairs and tables outside. One good food as well is the ube cake,..we love it as given a slice for the birthday girl,it was really thoughtful of the staff! Speaking of staff, they were great and attentive,..thank u so much for accommodating us,we really appreciate it. I highly recommend this place not just for fellow Pinoys but for everyone to try it. If you are feeling food homesick, this is the place that you can count on. Aside from ordering Bilao, we ordered chicharon bulaklak, pork sisig, gulaman and red horse for drinks. Overall,we were satisfied and enjoyed the food..music background was good as well!🤗🍻

Service: Fairly friendly 2x floor staff and accommodating to the needs of the customers. However, need to further develop communication between staff as had to ask for cutleries and one staff unaware of verbal reservation made earlier. I also think they are short-staff then, only 3 people serving and they tend to forget what we asked for. Took a little while before they hand us what we need. I was wondering if I should write this but seriously they need to fix up if they're to represent Filipino hospitality. Normally I let negative restaurant experiences slide but it makes me sad as this use to be my go to Filipino restaurant... Issues I've had during a number of visits: * Waitresses who don't smile, avoid you, make comments, mumble. * They can't decide if the table is ready. One said it wasn't ready stand outside, other one said come, the original one said again it wasn't ready so was standing in the way. * Forgotten food order = served long after people who came after us. No snacks during the wait. Waitress unsympathetic. * Not enough plates/ cutlery for number of diners so had to ask. One time has to stand in the doorway until someone came onto the floor just so I could get a spoon for my melting halo halo. * Bill issues. Food here overall: Knowing how it tastes elsewhere they can range from up to standard to bland. Portion size of some sharing dishes were extremely small. The halo halo was ok, and I have been here some times just to get a halo halo (and other desserts) but this last visit there was gritty sugar at the bottom which spoilt it. Gulaman drink here also too sweet I could only drink half. Buko pie in cling film soggy. This last time, the food once it came was ok but it didn't feel good to eat it because of the overall experience. I really don't know why we paid the service charge. For the price especially we should have walked out rather than waited for the food but we were here and a party member specifically wanted Filipino food. (on re-googling now I see there are many other Filipino restaurants, even closer to home with very good customer service/ food reviews so I will be bringing people elsewhere now).

Great food in classic Filipino style. 2nd time here but not as memorable. Service was bad; took a while to get served by the surly disinterested young guy who clearly shouldn’t choose hospitality as a career. Atmosphere ok, but strange British choice of music.

This would probably the lengthy review I’ve ever written.. I was really disappointed of the service today. Had a busy whole morning and was looking forward to the “first meal” of the day. So I went there at around 2pm, politely ordered Tocilog to the lady staff who took my order. I was craving for it for so long that I got really excited. I could see that they were busy so I didn’t bother them and waited. However, the waiting time took almost an hour which I’m sure won’t take that long to prepare Tocilog so I asked the staff who were there to kindly follow up because I was rushing for my appointment later that day, she said it’s being prepared without even checking and just went on. So I’ve waited another 20mins and asked a different staff. Both of them said the same thing, again did not check. I’ve waited and waited until I was already shaking of hunger and worried that I might miss my scheduled appointment. Even overheard the ladies in another table noticed and said I’ve been waiting for so long. So I went to the counter and told them I couldn’t wait that long anymore and I’ll just pay for the Calamansi juice that they served. That’s the only time she hurriedly went downstairs and check about my order. Worst part was she gave me the pork liempo and asked if I could have it as a takeaway. So to cut the story short, the Tocilog wasn’t really prepared because she had written a different order which was the Pork Liempo. In the end, the senior staff said sorry and got the Calamansi juice for free. I’m not the kind of person who would make a scene after being given a bad service so I just walked away. To others this “Tocilog thing” might sound a petty issue and why I would make fuss about it here. Don’t get me wrong, I used to come here if I crave Filipino food and I never post a bad review, only the good ones. But for sure, as a customer, you would also understand my sentiments and disappointment of being given false reassurance and letting a person wait for nothing! After all, for sure you don’t want to starve a customer, right? I’m sorry but I’m just really upset.

Decided to pop in for an early dinner and was excited to try as we don’t have many filipino restaurants from where we live. We had ordered Sisig with egg (meal deal - comes with rice) and bangsilog, pineapple juice and coconut juice for drinks. Originally, wanting sago with gulaman however was not available. Drinks came within 5 mins however the food didn't arrive until almost an hour prior to ordering. Understandable there was orders ahead of us however it would have been nice if we got a little update here and there on our food. Food was tasty, dessert was alright ( we had ordered a scoop of the ube ice cream) only let down was that we originally wanted the buko pie with buko pandan ice cream but once again wasn’t available. Only thing to suggest is to add more specials that meet dietary requirements as the majority of the food specials did contain peanuts which i am in fact allergic to, as well as notifying customers what foods are available at the start rather than being met with disappointment. Overall, food was good but service could have been a bit better.

Brilliant restaurant with amazing Filipino food. All your favourites here also good if you've not eaten Filipino food before. There is outside dining & inside. For location drinks prices are good value with beer being £5 . The house wine is also very nice. Tap water available. Loved it

This was an amazing experience and amazing food! I came here with my Philippino brother and he said that he hasn't had food this good outside of the Philippines! We had a shared platter called "Jeproks" with garlic rice 😋😋, a side of tofu ( Sizzling Tokwa) and mixed vegetables (ilocano pinakbet). We were three people and left very satisfied! Every meal had so much flavour we couldn't even pick a favourite! We will be back.. Again and again!

Food was amazing! Had the crispy pork knuckles, beef kare kare with rice and soup. It was really nice and fresh enjoyed every bite!. The staff however was not very engaging. They look really bored and wont check on you. You have to approach them everytime you need something and you dont know if theyve acknowledged your request or not. We did not wait long for the food which was reslly good. I would come back for the food if Ive ever visit the area again.

Been here twice now. Both times some dishes were good and some rubbish. Kare Kare for example was far too watery and Bicol Express meat chunks too large and the flavour weak. Dinuguan and Papaitan were good though. I'm a white man and I can cook better than what you get here. No really. Overall: average.

As a person NOT based in London, I look forward to Filipino Restaurants whenever I visit. But this one I’m afraid is disappointing after all my family’s effort to have a detour at Earl’s Ct. Firstly, service is the opposite of exceptional. Didn’t serve the drinks asap. We waited for 30 mins at least just for the drinks. That’s no. 1 rule in restaurants. The food came 30 mins after. It was a long wait. They boast of authentic Filipino food but I’m a Filipino myself, and I can honestly say, Sinigang which is one thing I was looking forward to have, was absolutely NOT up to scratch. My home cooked sinigang is far more superior. You don’t put cabbage in sinigang and the typical vegetables you expect in it are not in there. It’s so bland it’s unbelievable. I asked politely for a “patis” to which the staff said yes, but she never came back. Nobody asked us if everything was okay after serving. One more thing, the food were not served all in one go. Common guys it’s a basic restaurant rule! Pansit bihon was okay. No wow factor. I’ve tasted far better one. In summary, I believe it’s not worth it.

Lutong Pinoy is my go-to in Earls Court if craving for Filipino food. The food is good but the service tends to be slow especially during peak hours which is why I'm only giving this 4 stars. I still keep coming back when in the area.

The food good was good, but the service was impressively bad. We came as a big group, inside was hot as oven. The old lady who served us said the air conditioner has broken, which might be true. The worst part was her service. She seems couldn’t understand English properly and couldn’t took the right orders. We ordered upgrading garlic rice but she didn’t put the right orders, instead, she spend a lot of time insisting we didn’t order and that’s our fault. The garlic rice didn’t been placed until we order from another waitress. There are a lot of restaurants in London served good food, no need to be treated like this.
