Used to go here a lot and the last two time we have been they now fill the salad boxes half full when you are paying just under £4. I also pay extra for pasta and you get around 6 pieces. Won’t be going back anymore as it’s not worth the money, when there are other places so close by.

Two experiences to talk about here, visited on 29/8/19 where a colleague ordered jacket potato, beans and cheese, lady serving was adjusting her hair half way through the prep of the food! And personally visited on 30/8/19 to which I witnessed a microwave container being dropped on the floor with sausage and bacon in it, then the food being picked up and placed into it, walked onto the floor and then the food being placed into someone’s order!!! Seriously there is a clear lack of food hygiene training or serious incompetence. Will never use these again and will never recommend.

Got a jacket potato and some lasagne, lasagne was £4:25 which is horrendous considering the competitors in the immediate area namely Mandy’s and alley cats! Jacket potato was pleasant but nothing to write home about.

I get my sandwich from here when I do treat myself to one, can I just say the staff are amazing all the girls are lovely and the food, well what can I say its just the best. I would defo recommend this sandwich shop.

I ordered a platter of sandwiches for a lovely bunch of professional Dog Service people on the Wirral They do such good work and wanted to say Thank You. As it was a surprise I was literally ordering blind, not knowing what individual tastes they may have. Everything from ringing through the order to pick up, the service from Lunch and Judy is so professional. Staff always polite and helpful. The Dog Walkers were delighted with the platter and kept saying how lovely the food was. Safe to say I made sure that the dogs had their own special treats on the day to. Would highly recommend to anyone to order from here. In my opinion the best sandwich shop on the Wirral. Thank you Judy and staff.

Christmas is ruined.... we have just paid £7.00 for TWO Pieces of bread with awful cheese and cremated bacon on. not only did this taste disgusting it took over an hour to be delivered. We will not be ordering from Lunch and Judy again, its a rip off and the worst breakfast we have ever eaten. I suggest no one ever eats here!

Love the sandwiches in here, lovely and fresh and filling. Been here hundreds of times. Staff lovely and friendly and always people coming and going. Busy in the afternoons with the workers on their lunch

Have to admit, a great place to get your breakfast and lunch from, a bright shop from the outside, inside it gets better, spotlessly clean, with the menus clearly shown round the shop with very competitive prices. You only have to ask one of the staff for an order and the staff will rustle it up with no bother, staff are happy smiley girls. The food is all fresh and the variation of food available is extensive, and regulars get a loyalty card, which adds a bonus for regular eaters. Catering for offices in and around the Wirral, delivered to your door. So what are you waiting, try it and see, you won't regret it

ive been coming here for over 10 years wouldnt go anywere else..the food is all made fresh with all the best ingredients, a wide choice everyday.although i always have the same lol .as its so lovely.the staff are very friendly and work really hard..the place is spotless too..and they offer a rewards card which is fab.keep up the fab work...

Was impressed by the attitude and hardwork of the staff was not impressed with hearing the boss (judy) talk to the staff in a very harsh condescending way. I've given this place many chances and been left with a horrible taste in my mouth everytime.

I would caution anyone not to try the chicken soup or any of the soups for that matter. They are reheated more than a few times and cooled down with lids on. The owner Judy is very rude, she speaks to her staff like servants and often makes mistakes that she passes off on her abused staff. The staff are very hard working and beyond competent but are treated like children, not to be trusted with the smallest task. It is unfortunate that customers have to witness this behaviour. It's unprofessional and disheartening so see a business that could be brilliant but is ruined by the dictatorship of an old lady.

Lunch and Judy sell the best sandwiches and salads, all made to your liking and they are full of fillings. I've never had a problem with the service and order regularly for delivery at work along with many others at my site.

Used to be the best place on Hamilton Square and we were all regulars but the portion sizes have almost halved yet the prices have stayed the same. I think all of the regulars(and myself) are down the road at No.32!! Maybe Judy should crack a smile once in a while too.

I used to be a regular here but I have now absconded to the competitor up the road who produces excellent fare that is modern and up to date. It has got to the point where I waited so long in the queue that I went in a young person and came out as old as the owner (Judy) who left me waiting on countless occasions. The sandwiches are ok and the girls are fantastic but you can see they struggle under the harsh obnoxious dictatorship that Judy likes to run and on many occasion have witnessed her rudeness to her staff and customers alike. In summary go up the road to a business that is moving with the times not stuck in the past.

I noticed about maybe 2 months ago the portion sizes of the ingredients you get are much smaller. Now using measuring dishes so is much less value and the same price. When joking with the staff they seem to agree. There was a time if you didn't get in bang on 12 you'd be queuing out the door, but now there is no queue. They all seem to be up the road in the competition. I hope this changes soon as it's a shame

Lunch & Judy's is the best place in Birkenhead for a freshly made sandwich. Plenty of choice and nice fresh bread ! Staff are always friendly. Defo my number 1 choice !

Have my lunch here most days and having tried all the other places this is without question the best in Hamilton Square. Delicious range of food, hot and cold all of a very high standard and something different to try every time you go.Service is always warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Was better few months ago. Some of the staff are lovely but Judy has a very rude approach to customers.Shame because the food is lovely but the attitude lets the place down.

I have been twice now, the place is ok but not the best I have had to be honest. The service is good.

I go to Lunch & Judy`s nearly every day, the food is outstanding down to the miner detail.Nothing will be sent out unless the owner ( Judy ) is 100% happy with its content and presentation.The food outstanding.The young Lady`s who prepare the food have a lovely warm and pleasant manner, and are a credit to Judy.The outside catering is 1st class.What I have noticed they ALL work as a team.RegardsDave
