Ludo Lounge in Bournemouth

Great venue for a fun night or meal. We had the 3 dish tapas deal which was good value and very nice. Service is fun, friendly and efficient. It's a nice big buzzing venue with plenty of space. Good for drinks or dinner the food here is fresh and are also generous portions.

I so enjoyed food on cheeky Mondays, that after a shopping trip went back for lunch. My friend and I both had ciabatta chicken with bacon and melted cheese club sandwich which was amazing. Drinks and order taken by Megan at the bar who told me about the old Woolworths sign up in the terrace. We were served food by Lilliana . An enjoyable experience

A great addition to this chain of pubs. Nice atmosphere, nice food, nice staff and a cheer for every chair that falls over.

Foods good fair choice. Opens early not bad breakfast nothing to outstanding but you will have to try hard to find better.

Enforced queuing at a bar by people who can’t run a bar. Foods becoming over priced. 5 staff at bar serving one at a time. Avoid. People just don’t queue at bars. Edited to add note some of the lest mannered bar staff I’ve had the misfortune to encounter. Bar work is an art, a skill a noble profession. The furniture is broken. Our one night off in months. People are well mannered enough not be be required to be organised into a queue at a bar by rank amateur bar staff not interested in pouring beer

Heard Monday night quiz night was good so along I went with hubby and Grandson. Cheeky Mondays menu was excellent value for money. The quiz was great fun there was friendly rivalry between teams so many laughs. The service and staff very good and the food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back- no wonder this venue is so popular.

I had a Prosecco. It was flat! Poured out of an old bottle! Waste of time and money! If you go to Bournemouth they open a new bottle!

Another lovely meal at Ludo lounge. Food arrived promptly and was as tasty as always. The dining companion was average 🙄

Excellent all round also had Cocktails 2for price of 1 really lovely busy friendly place would highly recommend 👍.

The best pub/restaurant of this franchise in this local area. Clean, cozy, friendly, warm and welcoming. Nice menu, caters to dietary requirements. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Whilst revisiting the area of my childhood holidays I came across the ludo lounge. I've been to similar places so thought it would please everyone. Sat on the roof terrace because it was a lovely sunny day. I loved the fact it used to be Woolworths. And still had signage. 👍 We ordered at the bar and didn't wait long for our drinks to arrive. Food was delicious and just a good size portion. A good choice of food. Loved the interior and rooftop. Definitely go again if in the area.

Had a great visit here with our two children. Good variety of food on offer and what we had ordered tasted great. We found the staff to be friendly and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Thank you!

Ludo Lounge now even better. Lovely pint of Guinness enjoyed on the roof terrace. The piano grigio is also good and very friendly staff.

I never guesed it was a lounge chain until arriving. Breakfast time here in the mounth of June. Very chilled out here on the outride chairs. Wow that was de lish. Would I come back, of course. Cheers. 2nd visit this year. Schools out for summer. Flatbread today.

Was going to another place but it had closed down. Went to Ludo instead. Ordered a brunch & coffee which was expensive at £18.25. Food was pretty good so no complaints.

Had early fathers day todau taken there by my adult chilfren the food was disgusting i couldnt eat any of mine my adult children from brighton werr shocked by the poor quality of the food bad cooking bad presentation service what service NEVER AGAIN

My friend and I called in for a coffee yesterday afternoon at about four ( a time when most cafes seem to be shutting ) She accidentally spilled her latte and a very helpful member of staff called Tom came over, cleared it all up and offered her a replacement. He was so friendly and helpful. His colleague, Keiran, zipped round with a replacement. What could have been a disappointing afternoon was memorable and enjoyable. Our thanks to the staff.

Typically crowded, packed in quite tightly. Food is okay, a wide range to choose from. Sun deck's a nice touch but difficult to access for prams or wheelchairs.

Ludo Lounge never disappoints ! Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and good value. Thanks to Nat, Jake and young Conor. Some new staff seem very highly trained courteous as expected. Would definitely recommend.

After a previous customer came to where we were seated on leather sofas to possibly find a lost key in the seat on lifting the cushions we were sat on I was amazed buy the filth and we were all absolutely amazed. On showing a member of staff they replied the cleaners do not have a hoover and smiled. It was bad enough paying £8.40 for two coffees that were only lukewarm needless to say I am quite disgusted and won't be returning.

Thought we would go back to a lounge for tapas, which we enjoyed a lot in the past, just to find that the portion sizes are a lot smaller and more expensive. After sharing two tapas boards between the two of us we and a couple portions of fries were still feeling peckish, which is disappointing after having spent close to £40 on food for two. Plenty of other places around the area where you can get enough food for that price. Won't be coming back sadly

The food was much better than I expected, so it was a pleasant surprise. I like the fact you can come in with your dog. It took a fairly long time to receive our food and drinks. I ordered a milkshake to go, which was a nice touch. Overall, a good place to go for a Sunday lunch.

Service and food was brilliant, i didn’t catch the waitress’s name but she was so lovely to me and my family, she had strawberry blonde/light ginger hair. all the other waiters/waitresses were so lovely too! would definitely come back!

Lovely stunning place ! Went up onto the terrace and it was very well spaced out. The chairs were really clean and not dirty. We had dogs with us and the staff were so calm around them. Food was absolutely smashing and quick. Highly recommend!

Pretty Good. Tasty food, bit like an upmarket Wetherspoons. You can see the food being cooked, good relaxed atmosphere.

Met a friend for brunch. We both had the lounge breakfast which was delicious. I asked for a well done poached egg and crispy bacon and all was cooked to perfection. There was no butter on the toast so I asked for some and it was brought very swiftly. The staff were efficient and friendly and there was a good atmosphere. It was very busy, obviously a testament to the tastiness of the food!

Good food choices, spent a morning having brunch and sipping wine. Took half an hour fir the food to arrive but to be fair the place was rammed.

The table wasn't clean and the two workers seemed more interested in talking to each other rather thank getting us seated/cleaning. That being said the food was good and being able to order via the app made our experience easier.

1st visit in here on Monday and it was lovely. Food was great, service was fast and polite and also dog friendly 😀

Was a great experience, food choice was limited but it was a late Sunday event visit. The milkshakes were wonderful and the food was hot and served promptly with a smile, definitely will be back again and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great atmosphere. Only thing I wasn't 100% happy with was the music was very loud so conversation meant shouting over speakers with high reverberation, but it didn't detract from the trip.

Meals are very good value, the big breakfast was very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. We don't live around here but few times a year we stay at The Commodore so will definitely come back to Ludo Lounge. We have today come back exactly a year after the first time coming here. Still highly recommended for food especially

Nice clean and pleasant surroundings, food very good and staff friendly and attentive, also first time in 30 years I found Hofmeister on draft there too.

Went for brunch on Christmas eve. It was very busy but didn't have to wait too long for our food. Had the lounge eggs with bacon. Too much fat on the bacon for me but still tasted good. Flat white was pretty good too.

It is a great place to stop for coffee, drink, or bite to eat. It can sometimes be a little slow on customer service, as it's popular, but the service itself is friendly.

Floors and tables were filthy. Tables not cleared or wiped in timely manner. Food was dreadful and the salad was not fresh. Will never go again.

Saturday lunch time was very busy, but the food was good and we didn't have to wait very long.

Went on a Saturday brunchtime so understandably was busy. Had to wait a short time for a seat but that was no bother. Food was good, however would of been good to have our drinks cleared before the food arrived as the table was a little cluttered. Other than that, it was great.

We come here quite often. It has a family friendly atmosphere and is always bustling. Good selection of tasty food but it can sometimes be on the cool side. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended.

Used to be a firm fav for our friends Sunday brunches but food was below par, 2 dishes sent back, poor service staff, despite a friend sending her meal back as the flat bread was solid, she said she didnt want another, staff brought her another one "as it was already being made" she said she didn't want it but they served it and offered no refund.

Really enjoy the lounge brand, the bohemian decor is well replicated across the whole business it creates an easy going atmosphere serving good honest food and beverages at anytime during the day and evening

We used to enjoy coming here, and my husband assures me that the burgers are still decent. However, everything else we had was extremely disappointing. The garlic flatbread was tasteless and extremely oily. We were only able to finish the outer edges as the center had become soggy from the oil. The Chicken, Bacon & Avocado salad was okay, but again, so much oil was used to dress the lettuce that it was unpleasant to eat. We also paid for a children's ice cream and got approximately 3 tablespoons of ice cream which was mostly melted. We've kept coming back, chalking each bad experience up to a off night, but tonight was the last time.

Had brunch today with some girlfriends. Went for the muffin with fried egg and bacon. Asked for yoke to be hard and bacon to be really crispy. It came exactly as I'd requested. Really delicious..thanks to the chef! Washed it down with a delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
