Fish lovely chips unfortunately terrible could not eat black and very very dry had to throw away

Have not been here for some time. Very impressed with the changes, very pleased that table service has returned and pleased to see old friends. Hiroslav made us feel very welcome.

Overpriced food. I noticed for the last 5 years that fishes are getting smaller and the bill is getting bigger. Food quality is really good but expensive. Saddly, I won't go again.

We had afternoon tea with prosecco by the sea. Loved it. Food was cooked perfectly and tested so good!

Carlos was amazing and very funny!! The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a lovely view of the beach as it is right on the beach, and amazing food !!!

The service and food was amazing. We've been multiple times and this was the best one yet. Amelia was brilliant as we had little people who needed food quickly and was all over it. Also went out of her way to get a little candle for my wife's birthday so thank you. We'll be back

Carlos was very welcoming and polite as soon as we entered the restaurant. The food was good especially the haddock and again Carlos was accomodating when we asked for more sauce.

Last visited over a year ago, and though it's always fabulous to visit Harry Ramsden, I was a little disappointed in the portion size. I'm sure it was a lot bigger before. Would recommend not to order the small portion of fish n chips unless lacking in appetite, or order side of bread n butter to fill up.Food is on a very small plate so does look larger in pics. Food arrived prompt and hot. Had to wait alittle longer for drinks. Ordered via app. Would visit again and do recommend but next time I'll order large.😁

Used the takeaway at Harry Ramsdens. Very busy but efficient. Tasty fish and chips, large portion size of chips.

We ate downstairs in the takeaway area, and the lady at the till was very polite when we collected the food. We ordered via the self service, takeaway was clean for the most part, but it was busy due to an event at BIC that evening. The restaurant was very busy due to a party of 52 people so we weren't able to eat there because of our own time restrictions.

Good service , really god fish and chips , and a really senior deal, available, one of the best deals I have seen . Well done, Harry Ramesdens, for keeping this on the menu. The staff are very welcoming, with a great view of the beach and sea , very clean restaurant realy good service

The toilet suffered badly. The food had seemed alright but soon after both my wife and I had bad stomach pain and it was the only time during the day that we both ate from the same place and had similar meals.

Such friendly staff, food came nice and quick. Ordered a small fish and chips and it was fantastic size, so fresh and such a good price! Drinks are well priced too. Shout out to Abbie who served us she was amazing and it was mine and my partners 6 year anniversary dinner and we loved every minute eating with the sea view out the window too 😊 Definitely recommend, very well run.

Service wasn’t especially engaging, as we placed our order the guy was looking around the room. Food was good, fish is well cooked and tasty but the chips were tepid and same for the mushy peas. Zero starts for atmosphere as the whole experience was ruined by the really loud music. I have an acquired brain injury and it makes it very difficult for me to even read a menu and make a choice due to being overwhelmed with noise from loud music etc.

Shown to our table very quickly, went downhill very rapidly after that. It took at least 20 minutes to take our order, it started to arrive about 10 minutes later, they brought 2 lattes instead of 2 coffees, 1 black, food arrived it dribs and drabs with the kids meals about 10 minutes after ours. We managed to get the waitresses attention to order desserts and that was the last time we saw her (2 desserts eventually turned up that was part of the meal deal after 2 requests). We decided to get ice creams from the pier. After going to the till to pay, another 10 minute wait we left. Could easily have walk out without paying as no one took any notice of us.

The place was half empty with a lot of tables outside but they wouldn’t allow a small dog with us.

Great first fish n chips of our stay in Bournemouth, a classic to try, you have the restaurant on too and take away on beach level. That time we ate at restaurant. Good quality for the price and service was sharp.

Thank you so much for a great lunch after my husband's memorial walk on Saturday 22nd February. Even though there were 27 of us, the food and service was excellent. Much appreciated and I was so grateful the day went smoothly.

Rubbish chips. Oily soggy and undercooked. Appreciated it's a prime location but seriously how hard is it for chippy claiming to be "world famous fish and chips" to get it right? Gains 1 star back as the server was quite lovely, friendly and helpful. Don't waste your money here.

Service by Natasha was excellent, food was very good both in quantity and quality. Battered sausage slightly overcooked, everything else perfect.

Not as nice a meal as last time. Food not very warm. Curry sauce was awful. No taste, runny and cold. Chicken bites over cooked. Considering the total bill and previous good experience was and am disappointed.

I came here with my daughters and we had a lovely experience. The staff were really helpful (especially Amelia), the food was fantastic and we had a great view of the sea. My daughter said "I don't remember the last time I had a meal that was so yummy that I forced myself to eat it even though I was completely stuffed." Will definitely come back.

Absolutely terrible experience! We arrived at this takeaway shop around 18:00, well within their advertised closing time of 9 PM, only to be rudely told they were closed. Strangely enough, while we were still there, other customers were able to place orders without any issues! It was clear they were picking and choosing who they wanted to serve. The woman at the front was extremely rude and unwelcoming, speaking to us in a dismissive manner with no explanation. If they were truly closed, why were others still being served? Either update your closing times or train your staff to treat all customers fairly. Avoid this place unless you enjoy terrible service!

We popped in on the off chance and we both had a lovely meal at Harry Ramsdens Bournemouth, Carlos our waiter was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Bournemouth
