Our waitress Amelia was attentive and polite. The food was fantastic and would go again.

Really lovely fresh fish and chips. Would highly recommend. Staff always super friendly and service quick and attentive.

I came here with my daughters and we had a lovely experience. The staff were really helpful (especially Amelia), the food was fantastic and we had a great view of the sea. My daughter said "I don't remember the last time I had a meal that was so yummy that I forced myself to eat it even though I was completely stuffed." Will definitely come back.

Absolutely terrible experience! We arrived at this takeaway shop around 18:00, well within their advertised closing time of 9 PM, only to be rudely told they were closed. Strangely enough, while we were still there, other customers were able to place orders without any issues! It was clear they were picking and choosing who they wanted to serve. The woman at the front was extremely rude and unwelcoming, speaking to us in a dismissive manner with no explanation. If they were truly closed, why were others still being served? Either update your closing times or train your staff to treat all customers fairly. Avoid this place unless you enjoy terrible service!

We popped in on the off chance and we both had a lovely meal at Harry Ramsdens Bournemouth, Carlos our waiter was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Bournemouth

A lovely afternoon fish and chips. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Although I cannot fault the food or service, this visit was spoilt for me. After paying for my food , I visited the toilets before going out into the rain. After a quick visit, I didn't spend more than a couple of minutes including washing and drying my hands, I returned to find a gentleman sitting at my table and no sign of my coat. The gentleman then asked if it was my coat that had been placed on a bench across from my table. I was shocked, and pointed out that i had only visited the toilets. I regularly eat out and have never had my belongings removed by staff. When I said something to the staff they said that they thought I had forgotten my coat! It was raining and the restaurant is on the sea front! It is such a shame as it ruined a nice meal. I am inclined to think that they wanted the table as it was fairly busy with lots of reservations and others queuing. Definitely no excuse though!

Stopped by for lunch on a whim. Service was excellent, huge shout out to Carlos, he made my visit! Very friendly, very professional. Just all round fabulous human.

If only there was a 10/10 for Service. The Manager (I think his name is Mo) at the Bournemouth restaurant was outstanding. We had a problem with our gift voucher and he sorted it all out for us . He was extremely helpful and professional. His staff were very efficient and with very pleasant dispositions. Highly recommended. Well done!

We had the fish and chip afternoon tea. Was very nice and certainly different to a normal afternoon tea. The frickles were good, along with the fish burger, fish cake, battered sausage, chips and onion rings. Followed by banana fritters and bread and butter pudding. All served with tea or coffee. A lovely view of the sea from the tables on a winters day.

There were only 2 staff but they were both brilliant. Even though they were very busy, they had time to be polite and have a sense of humour, sharing jokes with customers. The service was quick and efficient. We'll done to Carlos and his friend

Dined in a couple weeks ago with my daughter, and had the most wonderful experience! Was served by Mo, his service was fast and he was so lovely to us. Was also served by a lovely young lady called Abbie, who made sure we had everything we needed and was just very kind to us. Ordered a takeaway from there today, and was served by Mo again, and his service was just as exceptional as the first time.

Wow, the afternoon tea deal through Wowcher was so different. Enough food to call it dinner with prosecco to was it down. Included fish baps, fishcakes, battered sausages, onions rings, chips, mushy peas, all the sauces and the pickled whole gherkins were fab. Then dessert! Delicious. Already recommend this to friends.

We went to this restaurant around 2 weeks ago, headed to the dining section. There was a rude waitress (British in his 40s) I asked him to cut the burger into 2 halfs and he was mad saying "you cut it, we don't cut it". IDK if that was Racism but I think the management needs to know that this behaviour - being aggressive - is not acceptable to clients as it can affect the whole dining experience. I mean I'd understand if he told me it's technically difficult to cut the burger from the chef, in a good RESPECTFUL way.

We really enjoyed our visit and want to come again. Fantastic sea views, staff very friendly and helpful, but food a bit disappointing - we used Wowcher, £19.99 and perhaps needed to pay more for full fish and chips. Had a window seat and it was worth coming just for that! Need to work out how to park on the road at the back (my wife is quite disabled and uses a scooter to get around)

very disappointed the order arrived it was cold the chips were hard and cold the fish was cold and the batter was soft and gooey. it ended up in the bin. this was my first order from Harry Ramsden but I wont be ordering again

Afternoon tea was amazing. Carlos our server was friendly and attentive. Also catered for myself being vegetarian. One of the best afternoon teas I've had. Highly recommend it to others

It was my first ever time ever trying Harry Ramsdens and the atmosphere , food and service was extra ordinary . Definitely recommend to try to any first timers out there . Carlos was friendly and inviting and looked after me and a friend really well

we arrived and took ages for someone to come and great and seat us. Then, we waited 15 plus minutes for someone to take our order.but no one came and decided to use the app you can order with.. not the best app I've ordered from it turned up as regular cod..which was not much bigger that a fish finger...Just under £17.00 so small I'm glad I never order the small cod. over rated and very over priced. won't be back.

Google reviews don't seem to match with our experience, we had a great lunch, efficient service and great food! Lovely decorated and clean. Fish was very good, particularly the fish bites.

The food that we ordered was brought out and it was all cold, we spoke to one of the waiters and was rudely spoken too told they would get some new chips brought to the table but nothing about the rest of the food being replaced! The chicken burger was tasteless cold and tasted of oil, the scampi was slimy and uncooked, we all left 3/4 of our meal it was that bad, when we went to pay the lady at the till asked us if our meal was OK we then told her again what was wrong with our food to be ignored and just handed the bill, absolutely disgusted if your thinking of eating here don't bother wasting your money

We went into harry ramsdens as a group of 11 on the off chance they could seat us and we were pleased after a little wait they could. The food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meal. The front of house guy running the restaurant that day was excellent, even with a busy restaurant and queues to get in he wasn't flustered and was friendly and kept the place flowing smoothly. Great meal out and look forward to visiting again.

It was a busy day as it was sunny but the staff were friendly and working hard. Food is greatm everything cooked fresh.

Absolutely shocking experience yet again at Bournemouth Harry Ramsdens. Only ordered chicken nuggets chips and a portion of cod bites. All of which went in the bin awful waited ages for it and it wasn’t busy at all massively overcooked nuggets extremely slimy cod bites and let’s not get started on the chips staff didn’t want to know. Not the first bad experience here I had a terrible experience last year and safe to say after 2 visits I won’t be going again. Actually the worst chips I’ve ever had at a chip shop embarrassing.

Absolutely terrible service. Waited 30min for my order wasn't busy. Then they didn't give me all my order. Other people waiting some asked for refund. Won't go back sadly

We arrived before lunch time rush. Order was taken. Food arrived, but the waiter got it wrong as to who ordered what. Some of the sides were wrong and some did not turn up, had to go and ask. We waited a long time for a waiter to come and take the dessert order which did not happen. Went to asked for bill and that did not come. Went to which I thought was the Manager in charge and told him if we don’t get the bill we are walking out. I ordered the over 60 meal and did not get my dessert because of bad service, but paid for it. People were queuing at the door and nobody was attending to them. Was not a very good experience.

Upon arrival, we was warmly welcomed by the staff and got seated promptly. Ellen was very pleasant and any requests were not to much trouble. The food portions were very generous and was overall satisfied and will be coming back again.

Popped in for lunch, we ordered the sausage in batter and chips which came with a side order, we had curry sauce and gravy, excellent value as you actually get two sausages in batter. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Lovely window seat with beautiful beach views.

Being the biggest and self proclaimed 'world's best chips' in Bournemouth, the service is absolutely terrible. Our kiosk order had a portion of cod and 3 single portions of chips. They mixed up cod and chips in one box and forgot 1 portion chips. When we politely said that we ordered them separate, the lady said to us 'you should've told us before we're not magicians'. Then she checked that they forgot 1 chips so we got told you'll have to wait for them. Instead of apologising for 2 big blunders, we got shown attitude. Mind you there were 15 of us and we gave them good business. If someone opens up a fish and chips next to them with basic decent service, these lot will have to close up shop.

Had a lovely meal and a lovely time. Our waitress Abbie was very welcoming and friendly. 100% come back again

Lovely hotel staff were friendly and helpful breakfast was good. Just a few minutes walk to the centre.

The chips and battered sausages were good - large portions, fresh and well cooked. The cod was absolutely tiny, it was more like a fish finger (£8.99!). Very expensive, but you are paying for the location. It wasn't very clear if you can sit in the takeaway at no extra cost or if you have to pay more to do this (there are a couple of tables & chairs)?

We were gifted a Harry Ramsden Afternoon Tea so chose to go to Bournemouth The food was amazing (a great alternative to the usual afternoon tea). Atmosphere was relaxed and our friendly waiter Carlos couldn't be more helpful. Thank-you for making our afternoon tea really enjoyable

We had a wonderful time visiting Harry Ramsden for lunch recently. The restaurant had lovely art deco style which we didn’t expect at all. The food was excellent and great value for money. We received service from Mo who was attentive and a fantastic waiter. This was our first time in the restaurant having previously had take out downstairs but we d definitely return. And the views of the beach from the restaurant are amazing. Overall and excellent experience which was made extra special for all Christmas decorations. It felt like the most wonderful start to the festive season.

Carlos served us and he was very fast, funny and an overall pleasure to be served by. Would definitely recommend.
