Nos dieron un cupón de té de la tarde de pescado con papas fritas como regalo de Navidad así que reservado para visitar Harry Ramsdens ayer. Tuvimos un gran servicio por el personal amable encantador y deliciosa comida junto con una copa de prosecco.

Muy mala relación calidad-precio. Los tamaños de los platos para las comidas infantiles son más o menos del mismo tamaño que los adultos. El bacalao pequeño con patatas fritas a £ 15. 49 era del mismo tamaño que los niños fish and chips a £ 7. 49 . El medio fue de £ 16. 49 y no mucho más grande. La calidad era buena, pero el tamaño de las porciones era notablemente tacaño.

The staff coped very well with the queue s. Plenty of seating outside in the sunshine. Haddock a little dry,cod and chips deliclous. No little packets of salt but shakers on a side table. No hot drinks but kiosk nearby!

No fue nada especial. Reserve una mesa para 6 , llegó 5 . 50 . Había una cola muy grande, así que tuve un poco de espera. Finalmente nos llevaron a nuestra mesa. Tenía una hermosa vista sobre la playa. El camarero era muy agradable. Cuando llegó la comida fue decepcionante. Las patatas fritas eran blancas e insípidas, el pescado estaba bien, pero nada especial para el precio. Mejoren en mi tienda local de pescado con papas fritas. ¡No volveré!

En Bournemouth por el día y me recomendaron Harry Ramsdens por un lugareño. El restaurante estaba bien atendido y el personal era lo suficientemente amable. Había una cola para sentarse, lo que normalmente es una buena señal. Me dijeron que si ordenaba usando el código QR de la tabla, el servicio sería mucho más rápido. Esto fue absolutamente cierto y mi pedido salió muy rápido, de hecho fue casi demasiado rápido considerando que la masa estaba completamente sobrecocida y la mitad de las papas fritas estaban tan sobrecocidas que estaban desprovistas de papa en el medio. El muelle en sí era pequeño y muy delgado (pedí regular) y por £ 16. 39 representan un valor muy pobre. Harry's Haddock el plato que 10.000 personas hicieron cola en Cruz Blanca en 1952, no era este.

We had the afternoon tea..wow plenty of it, good quality and very tasty AND you get a tasty desert mmm. Miroslav was our waiter and he was brilliant, very attentive and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return and tell all our friends it is well worth a visit👍

The food was great, and our waitress Jade was fantastic, the only issue for us was the music was very loud. From the Club 60 couple.

The guy serving moves nuggets or fish with his hands and then rubs his nose! No gloves! Absolutely disgusting and I won’t be back. Also extortionate prices…. I can get cheaper and fresher cod in London!

Food was ok but then again it is a chain so it’s what you get with a chain, food did come out very quick but we had to wait 20 minutes to pay the bill as it was very busy

Food and drink for two £51.00 everything was OK all round. Would go again. Plenty of families were also present so cost must be ok.

The food was very good but not my favorite. service was VERY fast. do recommend but is also VERY expensive. Carlos our waiter was friendly and pleasant.

On arrival to our reserved table I actually wondered whether we were at the right one because of all the food on the chairs and floor. The table had been set but clearly no attention to the floor and chairs. I ordered the medium haddock. The quality was good but the portion size was small. Our server Jade was friendly and attentive. Overall we enjoyed our visit but found it expensive and unloved by the staff.

The new Frank's Red Hot sauce batter is lovely! Not spicy, just enough flavour to taste the fish and it's quite a lovely experience compared to the normal batter. Chips and scampi were super hot and fresh, we will definitely come back soon!

Takeaway was pretty terrible, burger had been cremated, fish overcooked.

Worst service ever waited over an hour for our food told 2 staff members about the issue kept on waiting then called the manager and said cancel our order he did not even have the decency to apologize and just said okay. What a waste of time.

Waited nearly 40 minutes for our food. Was told that the reason was because a large party came in and we had ordered after them, which was a lie, because they were still waiting to be seated 10 minutes after we ordered. After asking 3 times about our food, a waiter apologised and said your food got cold waiting, so they had to cook it again. I had ordered bread which never arrived, so asked for that to be taken off the bill and my niece couldn't eat her chicken nuggets because they were so burnt and dry inside and were totally inedible. The waiter then gave her another chicken nugget meal, which again was over cooked, dry and inedible. (Ended up buying her a meal deal from Asda as she was hungry). Left the restaurant feeling that the Harry Ramsden famous name does not live upto its food!

Busy and not special f and c but good service.

The food was good. The view is unbeatable. The service wasn't great, though. Will most definitely revisit when the summer comes along.

Me and my partner came on Sunday evening (6th April) and were looked after by the brilliant ' Mo '. He was friendly and professional, as well as this he even spotted id left my phone in the restaurant and came out to find me after we'd left! Thanks to Mo and the team 😎 The food was amazing too!

In a queue at the door completely ignored for 10 minutes despite there being lots of empty tables. Seemed to be short staffed. Had booked a table on line but wasn’t asked when eventually seated. Very nice waitress. Surprisingly tasteless very dry chips but haddock good. My husband got his dessert first and had eaten it by the time I got mine. Despite the great view overlooking the beach I won’t bother again.

The lady who served me was very abrupt and rude. The order took over half an hour to arrive. The chips were undercooked and pale. The mushy peas portion was tiny! We also had two medium cod and regular chips with one regular soda. The bill came to just over £32. Way too much in my honest opinion!

Dined here today with my daughter and the atmosphere was great. We was lucky to be sorted right by the window with a beautiful view of the beach. Food was ordered as well as drinks and quick service. Very happy with our experience today. Friendly, helpful, happy staff.

I ordered twice on Sunday and Monday. The first one was great. No oily and nice. Th second one was really really bad.. Fish was too oily and no fresh.. Sausage and Onion ring batter was also really oily.. And the chicken wing also.. poor quality (over cooked and dry..) If it doesn't keep quality, I don't want to buy any more..

Only surviving due to location Absolutely disgusted after visit today second and definitely last. Bins full of trash falling on the floor All surfaces dirty and sticky. Large fish and chips with gravy was 18 £ and not even a drink to go with that. Fish was tiny, just a bit bigger than one fish fillet that you purchase from Lidl 4 pack for 2.99 To go with that massive amount of chips, beyond any logic compared to fish size easily 400g-600g in portion I shared with my son and we finished half of one portion . Bins were FULL of chips simple wast of food not mentioning it's easily 2500 calories if you finish that large portion Anyway don't go there , try some food in town centre. Don't wast your money and health 2 small fish, bucket of chips 5000 calories for £40

Despite a very busy Mother’s Day, and glorious sunshine, apart from a short wait in the queue at the door, even though we had a booking, because there were a lot of people without bookings going straight to the front of the line, we had a lovely meal, and served by delightful staff, who must have had a VERY busy day. Jade and her colleagues were cheerful, polite and helpful.

Highly recommend. We had excellent haddock fish and chips on the balcony. Yummy food, with beautiful sea side view.

Very busy, so had to queue, but once in and shown our table it was worth waiting. The food was lovely and I had Plaice with no batter, delicious. My husband really enjoyed the cod in batter. Our waitress was friendly and professional and always smiled even though run off her feet. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

We were gifted a Harry Ramsden voucher. It was for afternoon tea. We did not know quite what to expect. When it arrived, there was a selection of fish, onion rings, fish cakes, sausages, and a bun with fish filling and chips. Tea, coffee, and all the sauces to compliment the meal. The desert was just as scummy, banana fritters, and bread and butter pudding. Also, custard and Biscofee sauce. The gentleman waiting on us was very attentive and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Great view, friendly staff. Chips were ok, fish was lovely. Small portion was very small. Come again today (year or so later), unfortunately same portion size, and bigger price, not worth it. Next time I'll goto the chip shop, sit on the bench, cheaper and bigger portion. Don't recommend due to that

All of the staff were amazing, but Carlos, our main waiter really stood out gave us lots of good knowledge of bournemouth and the surrounding area. All of the food, including our puddings were amazing and a special shout out also to the gentlemen that was responsible for my partners Eaton mess pudding , top notch

Excellent and efficient service.

Service was good, and food was served fairly quickly. Onion rings were amazing, the best we ever had, fish was just okay, and the regular size was rather small. Sadly, only one star for the chips, not crispy at all.

My wife and I was in Bournemouth for a couple of days and it was almost end of our departure and still we haven't had a proper fresh food at all which was disappointing and that's when we found Harry Ramsden. My wife also brought to my attention that one of her fav YouTubers mentioned about this restaurant as one of the best in Bornemouth. So, we popped in and our first impression about the restaurant atmosphere and ambience was great as I have never seen such a huge fish and chips shop before and then comes the best part, which is food. We were blown away by the food freshness and taste and I'm not being dramatic but I have never tasted such a fresh fish before in the UK. First, I ordered prawn fries for starters which was an absolute delight and honestly, this was this first time tasting the fresh prawn which made me savour every single bite with relish. And my wife ordered veggie pie which was another amazing dish which we both loved it. The chips was good as well. But for me hands-down the prawn starters and Haddock fish left a lasting impression on me. So, I'd say our Bournemouth trip food experience was utterly fulfilled by Harry Ramsden's. If it wasn't for them, we would have left the city with a bad experience on the food part. Keep up the great work, guys @Team Harry Ramsden's.

Harry Ramsden to me is Yorkshire Fish and Chips. Big fish, chunky chips cooked the Yorkshire way. We visited Bournemouth Harry Ramsdens yesterday and were disappointed to be honest. £16.95 for a regular fish and chips that was no better than a takeaway shop and it was small, really small. If you are going to pay £16.95 for fish and chips you'd expect a bigger fish or charge less for the size you call regular. For pudding, I chose "the british classic" Eton Mess. As you can see from the description on the photo , it is described correctly. What i got was a tall glass with half a strawberry stuck in some squinty cream on top of strawberry flavour ice cream, a small amount of vanilla ice cream and a few sprinkles of merengue and then some fruit juices. £7 for that. Not right. Sorry ! You are lucky to get two stars to be honest.

Truly outstanding British 🇬🇧 Fish 🐟 & Chips 🍟 by the seaside 🏖️ Definitely some of the best I’ve ever had and worth a visit. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend would be the Frickles (fried pickles 🥒) didn’t taste quite right. However, everything else was just perfect. Batter crispy and light to perfection, chips cooked just right and lovely sides. God Bless Harry Ramsden and the wonderful staff he employs. Harry must be quite a man and it would be great to see him at the Bournemouth branch some time to congratulate him on his success 👏 🤗
