Felt like it needed abit of a refresh, the interior but we had a really fun 2 hours singing our hearts out. It was a birthday treat for my friend and he enjoyed it so much. We would definitely book a kareoke room there again! The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was nice that they let you get on with enjoying your experience without over doing the service. The button in the private room for drinks service was brilliant. You didn't have to go to the bar to get drinks. The toilets didn't have any handwash though. I tried a mock tail called Don't Worry Be Happy which was very tangy and citrus, very tasty 😋. 2hrs is plenty of time to sing and pack in as many of your fav songs 🎵 😊 Overall, it was an amazing experience!

Had a wonderful time, Ben was very attentive waiting on our hands and feet. He was the most intelligent, incredible and spontaneous host I have ever come across in my many years on this earth. Amazing venue been 2 times jay is the best

The cocktails weren't great. After the session with my friends, I needed to go to the loo, and the security guy followed me and waited for me outside the toilet. After that, he told me to leave. We left feeling really uncomfortable and scared, and we noticed that the only two men still working, including the security guy, started shouting 'See you soon' repeatedly. It was really strange, and we felt very unwelcome. There are plenty of nice bars in the area, so don’t waste your time here. Also, there were lot of mistakes in the lyrics of the songs.

I want to give a shout out to Jay on the bar! We were a party of 25+ and he was the only one on the bar. He did an excellent job of serving us delicious cocktails (sporty marg please) and was very friendly and added to the lively vibe!

I highly recommend a kid’s party here. Communication with booking and follow up emails were quick and straightforward. I called this morning and spoke to someone on the phone who was equally helpful. When I walked into lucky voice, jays voice echoed through and invited a warm and accommodating persona inside the entire establishment. While we were hitting notes in the karaoke, jay was mixing drinks and may I say his Long Island ice tea certainly hit the spot. If you want a night of musical wonder and fantastic cocktails then lucky voice is place to go.

Came here for a friend’s birthday and I can’t say it was worth the money. We had 2 pizzas preordered and the staff had no idea about it - whilst one was apologetic and sorted it out in the end, the other was about as rude as “hospitality” staff can get - and that’s coming from somebody who works a very similar job.

Came here for a mates birthday. Had a great time with friends party was great. The location itself was the problem. The provided list of songs was useless as upon queueing tracks most were not present. Food was pre-booked which staff were not going to provide until reminded - with one staff member (a bearded bloke) being rude and unhelpful on this occasion as well as many others throughout the night and also during other visits. With that being said the younger staff member was straight on it and was immediately apologetic (whilst the other person continued to create excuses). Highlights of the evening: Fun with friends and a lovely bouncer on the door upon entry. Downsides: One particular member of staff was rude throughout the night, and food wouldn’t have been provided without reminder

Super fun karaoke place! Jay was very friendly and has mesmerising bottle twirling skills. Also staff were happy to turn off the spinning disco ball when our friend had sensory overload which was really kind and helpful. 10/10 :)

Had a fun time here with a new group of pals. It's great you can ring for service which is reasonably quick. Lots of good songs to choose from and the system is user friendly. Equipment was basic but okay.

I must say I'm a bit late in writing this review but the service was so good I just had to leave one. I visited lucky voice in Brighton for my birthday at the end of October. I was greeted at the reception by Harley and wow what a greeting it was. Harley was a fantastic host! The energy he had was infectious to say the least. He made sure everyone in our group was well catered for, from the introduction to lucky voice to making sure we had a speedy service when ordering our drinks. We had a awesome time at lucky voice that night and a lot of that was down to Harley. Would definitely recommend and I'll definitely be a return customer. Thanks again. P S I'd actually like to say all the members of staff at lucky voice were excellent as well.

I booked to take my daughter and a group of her friends here for her 15th birthday. We drive down from Sevenoaks and arrived at the venue, where we were told it was over 18 only. I checked the booking process and there is no reference to this at all. On the confirmation in the foot note it says “if anyone is under 18 call us before”. The staff were totally unsympathetic and were laughing about it. Really unprofessional and after reading a few more reviews, poor staff performance seems to be a trend. This ruined our night.

Wow where do I start. Good says not very busy, I guess we know why. Reception staff were extremely rude to customers in front of me when they asked about WiFi to check their booking. Remember you are representing your business. If the customer needs help offer it. We have a promotion drink and staff had to be asked several times if they are part of it. Lucky Voice Karaoke provided a fantastic karaoke experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening. The song selection was impressive, with a wide variety of genres and artists to choose from - something for everyone! We loved having our own private booth, which created a fun and intimate atmosphere for our group. We'll definitely be back for more singing and laughter!

Very impressive list of songs to choose from, there were some random choices by people and the song catalogue had them all. No problems with any of the equipment and drinks service was efficient and not too badly priced in my opinion. Highly recommend.

I live in Brighton and invited my friends down for the weekend. We had the most amazing night here! So much fun. Harley and his team looked after us so well. We went down for a drink in the bar, the music was good and finished a great evening. Thank you we will be back 😊❤️

Edit: The team have since refunded the shots and apologised. Review changed from 3 to 4 in light of this. This was part of a henparty experience. The bride had an amazing time and loved it. We had a group of 16 in the room comfortably and had such a great time belting out songs with the bride. Pros: Private room, any song you can imagine available to sing, Cons: Our booking said first shots were complimentary but we were charged nearly £100 for these & when I reached out to them since I've not had contact about this & The room was 15 minutes late being ready and the time wasn't extended

Pre-booked for a Hen do and the vibes were top notch. No extra funds were needed. Bar tender made the afternoon very fun! Shout out to Jordan! #bestbarman Lucky Voice were very accommodating when a few people couldn't attend. Brilliant choices in music for the kareoke. All in all a fabulous afternoon! 10/10 would recommend!

Only gave 1 star as I couldn't give 0. Avoid this place. Came here on Friday 31st May. You don't get what you paid for. We booked a deal with food and was then told we didn't book that offer. As a result I am now very out of pocket as I couldn't expect the party to pay anymore. Totally ruined our hen party. They turned the screen off 30 mins earlier and the staff were rude and just didn't really care. Don't waste your money. Very very disappointing

Clear and easy instructions on how to work the booth on arrival. The vibe was great in the booth with our group of girls, but not much was happening in the bar or around the place. Toilets were clean and the button for drinks service meant that drinks were served quickly and efficiently. Good shot on arrival and they provided non alcoholic alternatives for a few in the group.

I came here with a group of people as part of a hen party. For most of our time we were in a room with broken air conditioning. It was very hot in the room. They then swapped us into another room when we had about 20 minutes left of our time, so it was almost pointless. The food was okay, but didn't seem like enough food for the amount of people there was. Drink service was good, quick service and the guys were friendly. The list of song choices on the karaoke was good. Screen was easy to use. Overall, I think it's a very pricey experience. I wouldn't be returning personally.

It's a good place to sing. I went there during student night on Wed. The song choices are many. It would be great if there is option to activate the real singer voice to recall memory of the song.

We visited the Brighton site recently for a team night out and had a brilliant time. Loads of fun, great food, really good drinks list and top service. We’ll be back!

We’ve been to Lucky Voice Brighton (and Soho) a few times and it’s always a brilliant night out. The rooms are a good size and the system and microphones are a lot better than others I’ve tried. You won’t run out of inspiration for songs! The drinks are also great, recommend the cocktails but there’s also a decent selection of beer and wine. Service to the room was really quick and friendly. All in all a great night out, a few drinks combined with some singing is a winner!

Went with some friends recently and had a superb time. Food and drinks were excellent. We loved pressing the "Thirsty" button and the super-friendly and efficient staff pop in take your order. Booked for 2 hours but that wasn't enough so we extended an extra hour until it closed! This is probably our 5th or 6th time here and we love it! Can't wait for the next one.

I am writing to express our disappointment and frustration about our experience at Lucky Voice Brighton. Our booking was for 8 people on Saturday 10th February at 8.30pm and was part of my partners 40th birthday celebrations. On arrival and once shown to our private Karaoke room, it was clear that there was a technical issue with the screen. Attempts were made to try and fix this initially and for about 30 minutes and then we were just left waiting. I went downstairs to then discuss with your member of staff who was at the front desk. It took me another half hour to get him to finally agree to a full refund and his service and attitude to the problem was quite frankly beyond poor and was very rude. It was actually your doorman who was more helpful and wanted to at least try and resolve the issue for us. In addition to this, the same member of staff tried to charge a friend of mine on his debit card drinks that we didn't even order which just compounded our utter frustration of the evening which by this point in time was ruined. I see an email confirming that my refund in full has been processed and I hope this happens swiftly. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Lucky Voice in the future and though I fully understand that technical issues can happen, why are the rooms not checked beforehand and clearly training of your staff members in showing a bit of respect to paying customers would be of great benefit

You ruined my birthday experience! Booked in January for February visit to celebrate. My first time experiencing karaoke and your equipment didn't work. Not your fault but then you held onto our credit card and tried to charge for a round of drinks we never had. Compensation was a joke, apology was a joke. When in that situation, FYI you apologise, not try and charge more money!

£13 per hour just to get through the door at a Karaoke bar is insane. Why would anyone pay that sort of money. There are so many places in Brighton that offer Karaoke on certain nights for free. Take your money elsewhere.

Dingy rooms, no air. Karaoke screen positioned so you can't see the people's faces singing?? That pretty much sums it up. One bonus, the back log of songs is impressive.

Super fun, staff are really friendly. It's amazing how quickly you end up losing your inhibitions and singing along to a rendition of Grease lightening. Would highly recommend. Drinks are pretty small and overpriced but overall a good night out.

Hire a booth for you and your group for a couple of hours, select your songs and sing a long. The concept is okay but relies on you being pissed so you don't notice that the songs are played too fast so it's hard to sing along, it's very loud in a small space and you can't alter the volume in the room and the microphones didn't work.

It is overall passable for KTV (Asians will know). The sound quality is actually very poor - very dry. Song choices are good for English languages. Cocktails are quite pricey. Pricing strategy is a bit weird as they charge per person - for small groups 4 or under that would be reasonable. (Imagine a pizza is charged by how many people are eating it other that being charged by the qty of pizza). It is overall good experience.

Just want to shout out David, but also want to point out that we were stood at the bar to be served for 15 mins and no one arrived. Also, asked for the cheapest shots and was served the most expensive which cost £70... not great. Music choice and vibe is good though, would recommend.

What a little gem of a place. Super friendly staff, quick service, every song you would want is there. Can't hear the other pods from inside your pod, which is great - no1 needs to hear me singing... We had an issue with our technology which was resolved promptly and fairly. Upstairs toilets were a little grubby, but was nearing 2am, so I'm not surprised to be honest. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

This was my first time at a karaoke place and it did not disappoint. Spacious comfortable rooms. Staff very polite and welcoming. Good “room” service. Endless songs to choose from and you’re uninterrupted (unless ordering drinks) Cocktails were very tasty and an overall great experience.

Hen party of 10. We were able to easily amend our booking when the group size changed. Private booth with easy order of drinks to the room. Huge choice of songs and quick and easy to input and make the most of our allotted time. We liked the random selector feature which helped encourage everyone to get involved. A great time was had by all!

Fun experience and well organised, although the pricing is quite steep, especially if you want to be able to sing any recent songs. Service to the individual rooms was good and a decent selection of drinks.

The actual karaoke is very good and the list of songs is endless, my only complaint is that one of the two microphones ran out of battery towards the end of our session.

Been here so many times and always had fun. You get your own private booth with props included.... a call button for a personal waitress to bring drinks etc, and a guaranteed night to remember if you're with the right crowd. I'd say this is better than it's rival 9 Rooms a few roads away, but drinks can be pricey! Also, look out for Groupons for this venue. You could save lots!!! Excellent for a hen doo!!

Came here for a hen do on Saturday and I was very disappointed. They give you a button to call for drinks, we were served when we first got there but after that, staff didn’t turn up for the rest of the night. I had to keep going downstairs to find staff and ask them to come up and they still didn’t until I had asked a few times. Then when they eventually came, our drinks never arrived and I had to walk down to the bar again and collect them. The bride went an hour without a drink and it dampened her experience. Considering it cost around £300, it was disappointing.

Great choice of songs. Screens are completely in the wrong place and more needed in one room, if someone is standing up singing looking at the screen you can't see them singing and then can't see the words to sing along either. With a package only a choice of wine ( absolutely awful) beer or soft drinks. Our drinks got smashed and spilt all down a member of our group, guys who did this thought it was hilarious...no real apologies and then WE got told we had to wait for the next round even though they smashed the first lot.. won't be running back to come again.
