Lucky Panda - Best Chinese Takeaway in Portsmouth

Ordered sweet n sour chicken balls cut one open meat was pinky purple disgusting. Threw the whole meal out, ate here last week or so got ill put it down as coincidence as no one else in family was ill. This time I'm definitely never ordering from here again. I dread to think how ill I would of been if I just ate it

food was ok. nothing to get excited about. chicken balls were more chicken nuggets. advertised delivery time of 30 mins is rubbish. Took over 90mins to get here. won't be ordering from here again.

Tried lucky panda for the 1st time as our usual Chinese was closed for a holiday, we really pleased with the food very tasty good value for money came quicker than expected and it was all really hot too. Looks like we have found a new Chinese.

Ordered thru Ubereats first time using Lucky Panda and the food was very good and piping hot. Particularly enjoyed the sweet n sour king prawns. Delicious.

my chicken curry and fried rice was lovely and the spring rolls very fresh and not stodgy. the chow mein was also pretty tasty but the only thing we both didn't like and that was the mushrooms in both dishes. do you use tinned mushrooms because they were very rubbery and definitely not fried fresh ones. we did enjoy the food and it was a nice treat

the chicken chow mein was smelly and taste was like they were done a few days ago and duck with mushrooms was tasting awful! I am not gonna order again!

We made a mistake on our order and left someone’s meal out, I called up and it away delivered within 10 minutes. Amazing customer service and really friendly staff. Food was fantastic as well.

I feel this is the best chinese food.. Chicken balls, chips chili salt, nasi goreng, and beef curry thats all my favourites menu in Lucky Panda.. And i think you should to try it..

Curry had weird taste chips soggy. Ordered at 6.30 arrived at 8.15

Ordered 5.50 came 8.10 shocking. Curry watery.will be requesting a refund.

Unfortunately my order was 10 mins late arriving, but it is NYE. Food was hot & very tasty, a little disappointed that there were no free prawn crackers offered, despite the order totalling over £30.

Garlic butter prawns where beautiful and chow main and salt and pepper chicken was delicious, chicken was a little dry in the curry much prefere there king prawn curry I had last time but over all really nice. Also spent 40 pound and didn’t get no prawn crackers when you normally do so abit disappointed on that x

They forgot the spring rolls, but everything else was great. There was a long way, but that’s down to it being New Year.

Been using this take away for years..the food is excellent and plentiful..the set meal for 1 is plenty for 2 and they offer a delivery service. Staff very friendly and food is always cooked fresh. 10/10

Best service I’ve had in a while from any place- I accidentally clicked collect instead of delivery when I called they offered to deliver and driver insisted on no money for delivery- I of course did still. Plus food was great as always.

20 mins early and excellent food

Found the foot to be rather bland compared to other local Chinese restaurants. Decided to try something new with a chop Sui with cashew nuts. Chat say I was only pleased. The fish was very slimey and just tasted bland. The rice is nice but again very average. Spring rolls were nice and crispy and the curry sauce was nice.

terrible aromatic duck was one of the worst ive ever tasted more fat than there was meat very disappointed from this restaurant

Service: Ordered through Uber eats. Driver just put order on the floor as I opened the door like I was a wild animal. Food : Spring rolls had a maximum of 1 bean sprout and a shred of carrot in each, basically just pastry without filling Duck pancake, the duck was not even shredded and the portion of actual edible meat was pretty poor, not a 10 pancake portion, maybe 5/6 at best Satay skewers we’re nice tho

We ordered box1, shredded chilli beef, egg fried rice, chicken black bean sauce and mixed vegetables. Very tasty meal. Will be ordering again.

I have been a regular customer of this Chinese for about 4 years and the food has not massively gone downhill. I ordered a chicken curry and is tastes and smells burnt other than that it is now tasteless. The rice is undercooked and still hard , the texture and shape of the chicken is suspiciously fake , will not be ordering from here again.

All food tasted of salt & nothing else. Inedible & thrown away

First time ordering: Lovely fried rice and crispy beef the mix box 1 was ok. Tiny pot of curry sauce for £2.60 (same size as a chip shop container) the pancake rolls were full of cabbage and carrot very bland and disappointing. We spent £30 and had no free prawn crackers :(

Lucky Panda used to be the best chinese but in recent months its just gone downhill! I’ve been using them for about 2 years but the Food is becoming tasteless and just not the worth the money any more. Im not one to moan about the price especially when its good food but tonights take away wasn’t up to scratch! I’ll be trying somewhere new next time as the last few orders/take aways have been awful.

Always order from here and always top notch, but the chicken balls were not cooked thoroughly this time and did result in two members of the household with poorly tummies.

This is our favourite place to order but think tonight wasn't as good. Crispy chili beef wasn't crispy, salt & chili chips where not well seasoned and Tasted like normal chips. Everything else tho was OK just a shame it was new years eve & not there best.

Lovely meals as always with lovely fluffy boiled rice. Husband enjoyed his beef curry and me my mixed vegetable green Thai curry.

Food was disappointing and extremely salty, wasn't anything 'special' about the house special chow mien and only came with chicken and pork. Small portions in regards to the sharing platter for 2, and seaweed was burnt and salty.

None of the food was hot just warm. The duck was completely inedible, ridiculously fatty, there was hardly any actual meat and it wasn’t crispy!!! Actually ended up feeding it to my dog. Both Fanta cans were missing as well

The chow mein was some chicken and tasteless noodles which tasted like they came from a very cheap source, and nothing else. The prawn balls weren't even cooked enough so lots of soggy batter inside, yuk! Prawn toast was burnt

Ordered a order that had ordered before but ribs were totally different and totally inedible as were mostly girstle and meat that was on them very very chewy, had to throw them in bin rest of meal however perfect as usual

Always perfect on arrival, I recommend this Restaurant.

Usually don't have a problem with Lucky Panda but was extremely late this evening despite calling and being told its with the driver and on its way (we're only 5 mins down the road) and having to wait another 15. Not great tonight, unfortunately.
