AVOID at all costs , absolutely disgusted with this ‘restaurant’. The food was flavourless and bland , everyone in the restaurant other than the woman who took my order was arrogant and too thick to even cook a pot noodle. The only bit of flavour to the food was the hair that I found in it! After I told them about the furball in the food I got banned from ordering again not that I would but still not the point. The place should be shut down it’s unhygienic and an embarrassment to the community. Wouldn’t even feed the food I received to a dog :)

Would put a zero if I could. Do NOT order from here!! Disgusting!! Salty and watery unedible food. If you can even call it food. Covered in hairs!! Staff are so rude if you complain and they lie. Took an hour to arrive, items were missing. They wouldn't even redeliver the paid for missing items. I ate a small amount and today I feel absolutely awful. Avoid!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting experience with Lucky House Chinese. We spent over £40 on our order, only to discover they’d left out a curry. When we called to sort it out, they told us we’d have to pay again just to have the missing item delivered. Unbelievable. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we found hairs in the food — completely revolting. We called to complain and requested a refund, which is more than fair considering the situation. Instead, they outright refused and told us we’re no longer allowed to order from them. So not only did we pay for food we never got to eat, we were served unhygienic meals and then banned for complaining. Shocking service, dirty food, and completely unprofessional behaviour. Avoid this place like the plague.

Not even worth 1 star but unfortunately couldn’t put none, ordered at 7.30pm and was told an hour wait, rang at 9pm as order hasn’t yet arrived and was told it’ll be with us in 10-15mins, 40mins then past so rang again to be told that our order was ready but sent out on another order rang again at 10pm as it was saying they’re now closed they then said it was on the way, the woman on the phone sounded unbothered that we wasn’t happy that it took 2 1/2 hours and when we asked to speak to someone was told that because they’re now closed all the staff had gone home. Definitely do not recommend and will not be ordering again

Second time I've ordered complained about the chips the first time the second time they were worse!!! Didn't think it was possible to mess up cooking chips twice!!

We have ordered here a few times now and it's the better chinese we have had from around here. Very friendly staff and quick deliverys. I prefer the chow mains to the curry's from here. But all very fresh and nice.

Glad I didn’t read the reviews before ordering . We had a great experience. Ordered via just eat arrived around 50 mins which was shown . Food was delicious. They read the notes for no shrimp in sing chow mein. Chicken balls were really good. Decent quality chicken and crispy. Will use again Update: another order last night took nearly three hours , asked for no prawns and it had prawns , would not partially refund . Shame

Still waiting , been two hours. Ordered from here before and understand it will be busy but let your customers know that before they place an order

this place used to be amazing the best chinese by far - - i have no idea what happened new management? cutting costs? a rat controlling the cook under his hat - nope because in the film the food was nice ve!!! im gutted they have changed everything even thier tastebuds i think - watery salty and that sweet and sour sauce is actually glow in the dark absolutely gutted i am on a mission now to find the best chinese in c. r. a. p!!!! and this one comes bottom good day sir!!! i said good day

Very good quality and big portions as usual. Couple of the prawns had a strange mushy texture obviously not known till we bit down on them. I ate one thinking one of but when found others spat out so that was a bit of a waste. Hopefully just a one off, will find out later if they have any negative effects!

We was waiting for our order over then 2 and half hours. (We live 2 mins away from restaurant). And when the finally we get our food the delivery lady said she had stuck in the traffic 🤦‍♀️Fries was cold and dry. Rice was cold and mushy.

Finally Recived our food after waiting 2 and a half hours! Our 2 year old food was in this order! Not even an apology from the delivery driver either! Not Happy!

Never showed up. Took money, and turned phone off.

Charged me for my order that never got delivered. Then tried to tell me they “attempted” to deliver. Been waiting for over 3 hours for my order! Wouldn’t even bother thinking about ordering from here.

Superb food, delivered a little earlier, got a call to confirm our location as we are staying at a campsite. Can’t ask more than that! Really impressed with the quality and service. We will definitely use again when Wes re camping!

Order was marked as delivered before it had even left. I contacted for an update via just eat and the timing was adjusted. Eventually delivered at 19:35. Restaurant wouldn’t issue partial refund for lateness. Food warm - this will be my last order

Ordered 1820. Was told hour delivery. Then phoned and said order will be with you 2020. Phoned and they said it’s out with the driver, 2130 food turns up and cold. Really disappointed! I asked for refund and was refused. Will not be ordering from them again

Ordered delivery and waited 2 hours, called up only to be told they hadn't even started to make it and was told they couldn't give a refund. Shocking. Will never order here again.

Food was very late. Arrived cold and chicken was very tough. Not what was expected as we have enjoyed in the past.

Delivered on time however, this is the second time ordering from Lucky house and will be the last. Cold and inedible meat so tough you can’t chew it and very bizarre flavouring to the noodles….. do yourself a favour and give this place a swerve. I work hard and it’s gutting when you’re scraping nearly £40 worth of food in the bin.

Food arrived 2 1/2 hours late. Chips were cold, curry was watery. Didn’t recieve the prawn crackers. Not impressed at all. Very poor won’t be ordering again. Easier to make my own

Food to the usual good standard BUT 45 mins late and missing prawn crackers we ordered. Last time we got a wrong item then this time missing item, not sure what’s going on lately but standards are certainly slipping!

For the most part food was good. But the prawn crackers were burnt, we ordered mixed satay and got mixed curry which was too spicy for some. Prawn toasts cold (though this could be because for some reason it took 35mins after leaving the shop to get to us). Overall good food service not quite to the usual standard.

Really good food, our usual Chinese canceled our order so tried here instead. Defo switching to this place in future

Order from here if you’d like your food to not be delivered, and then be told they can’t deliver it and refused to give a refund. Save yourself some time and actually order food from a Chinese who will deliver. Absolute joke.

Arrived 15 mins late, no biggie as it’s unlike them. All but one dish up to the same usual high standards 😋 only let down was salt & pepper chicken was rather dry.

The chicken balls and pancake rolls were lovely. Unfortunately the chicken is really weird, fatty and rubbery

Food arrived just short of 3hrs after ordering, stone cold, omelette running in oil, quarter duck cold and hard and sticking together, chips like rubber, noodles cold and oily, curries cold and congealed with jelly like substance, rice hard and cold, s&s chicken luke warm.. almost £70 and had to wait until 10pm to eat Luke warm oily inedible food which ended up being binned! Ruined evening and waste of money

ordered for 1815 arrived at 1855 despite calling lucky house lied to by lucky house and informed if I had issue take it up with just eats food was cold and had to microwave. always used lucky house bur never again they really need to sort out delivery

I made a mistake when ordering, should of ordered dry chow mein, still nice though. I’m from Essex and they just do dry so I keep forgetting that in Cornwall you have to specify

Ordered 2 x chinese meals today 22/10 after over an hour food had not been delivered. Rang the shop and was told it was with the driver and would be there in 5 minutes. After another half an hour food had still not been delivered so rung up and cancelled. We are only 5 minues away from the shop. AVOID AT ALL TIMES

Food was late and stone cold. The salt and chilli pepper chips had almost no seasoning and were inedible and cold. Most of it has gone in the bin. Won’t order from there again.

Food arrived late and was very bland and hardly warm. The rice looked and tasted like Uncle Ben’s microwavable rice. The only thing me and my partner enjoyed was the prawn crackers. Would strongly not recommend.

Bought a chicken curry tonight, my god I ended up on the toilet within eating 10 min of finishing. I was sitting on the toilet with a prey book, I thought I was going to waste away. Make sure you have a clear run to the loo if your buying food from here.

chips and shredded chicken cold, tasted reheated and unedable, ended up in the bin. rice and sweet and sour dishes where nice and orange chicken sauce was decent but chicken was very dry and tasted like it had been sitting under a warming lamp for hours

Although fast delivery, not impressed, the king prawn curry was all watery and tasteless. Ordered chicken fried rice and got ordinary rice. The Chinese bbq chicken and beansprouts was also watery. Very disappointed and won't be ordering again. Expensive meal and not at all enjoyed.

Always brilliant food from here is a little bit pricier than some other Chinese take aways near by however personally don’t mind spending a little more if you know the food is going to be to your tastes! Considering we live a 10-15 minute drive from the place food always arrives still hot. Good portion sizes too.

I highly recommend lucky house for a decent Chinese!! Delivery was a little later than what we were told, but it was is worth the wait, the food was absolutely gorgeous and full and of flavour and good quality. We’ve struggled for a while to find a decent Chinese and we’ve an our new one. It’s on the little bit more expensive side but it’s so worth it. We will definitely be back!

Did the restaurant take a dump, microwave it, then serve it? Because it tasted like they did.

Food was fantastic, roast duck on mixed meat fried rice is, as ever, tip top. Platter for one was also great, the ribs were huge and plenty of meat on them.

Usual good quality food, 15 mins early - not a problem for us but could be for some. Not much more to say really, will continue to use 👍

Chips were like cardboard and all the food was cold !!

Food overall was the usual good standard apart from the mixed meat with cashews which was laced with garlic, far too much. Delivery time was 25 mins late but can put that down to it being a Saturday night. Will continue to order as food has always been good overall.

Who cares how good food is if it’s over 30 minutes later than the longest expected delivery time. Not impressed and this was after being told it was on its way after 15 mins late!!
