Lucky Dragon in York

The order arrived 1hour40mins after it had set of from the restaurant. When he arrived he beeped his horn (we live in an apartment complex and it was now 10:30pm). He refused to get out of his car because he was smoking a cigarette. The box was falling apart due to it being wet with grease, the food was freezing. When we rang the restaurant to explain the issues the management was useless and simply said ‘if you don’t like our food don’t order again’ he then rung up and blocked my number. Would not recommend

Tasteless and processed meat ..

The order arrived 1:40 minutes over the time it was due to arrive from setting off. The driver then beeped his car horn on his arrival (we live in a flat buildings with children in and this was now 10:30). The driver refused to exist the car to give the order due to him smoking a cigarette. The box was soaking and the food was freezing. When we rang the restaurant to explain the issues the man said ‘I’f you don’t like your food do not order from us again’ and proceeded to block my number

My 14 year old said was best chow mein she’s ever had and can we get it again, was all a lovely meal and we will be using you again, in fact have used you before but tonight’s was the best so far xx

munchy box very very dry no pepper onions ect very small pot of sweet and sour sauce

This is twice on the row now the driver has phoned up and expected us to go out onto the road to take our items from his car. He refuses to get out of his car and knock or bring food to the door

Lucky Dragon was always my go to. Bit of a wobble a few months ago but back up to super food and excellent service. Great stuff will happily stay a customer.

Gravy was so thick and inedible salt and pepper chicken was cold and the delivery driver pulled up on drive and lifted my food up like I was expected to go get it myself from his car I don’t think so I paid for delivery so deliver it

Just ordered this picked it up it was ready in 10 minutes got home opened it all played it up it was freezing cold the chicken was pink and when we rang am up and told them they wasn’t helpful or sorry at all I would not give this to my dog stay away!!!!!!

food was cold on arrival, soft prawn crackers, didn't take note of preferences (no veg) and was tasteless. wasted so much food wouldn't order again

Firstly the delivery guy was very polite and it was delivered early. The food was hot but it was unbelievably salty. I had a salt & pepper combo box but it was just salt, no evidence of pepper whatsoever. There were hardly any chicken pieces and what there was, they were mostly batter. I won’t be ordering again I’m afraid.

prawn crackers were stale like they'd been left for weeks. we paid for these as well. prawn toast was flavourless. rest was okay

Had chow mein, salt and pepper chicken, sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Enjoyed it, very good!

Called the restaurant they said it had been sent out 20 mins befor it arrived definitely doesn’t take 20 mins to get to delivery address by car food was cold on arrival

The food was, as always, absolutely perfect and every mouthful was delicious. However, I have had to deduct stars because of the poor delivery driver. Rude, rude, rude. This has been our favourite for years but the delivery really let it down today.

Food arrived much earlier than planned, requested no peas due to allergy, they sent with peas in, phoned they accepted it was their error then re sent just the fried rice, over an hour after first delivery. Rest of the order was sat getting cold, phoned them again they advised we microwave the curry sauce and chips - we don’t have a microwave and not ok to suggest that. They then called us greedy and refused to provide the other items which had been sat for an hour. Appalling service.

I'd give this zero if I could got a delivery and the guy basically just threw it into my husband's hands and cleared off quickly and probably due to the fact the entire curry sauce was emptied all over our delivery so everything was covered in it the pancake rolls were soggy our ribs were now curry flavored and the noodle soup were in edible we chucked it in the bin disgusting

excellent. rice a little stoggy but great curry and s n p chicken was smazibg

Not our usual Chinese, but very good food

Food was really good. But what was very strange was the delivery person called me on the phone to say they were outside (they usually buzz since I live in an apartment building). Her English wasn’t very good, and when I went down to collect, she was sat in the car. Not a door delivery service by any stretch of the word. Maybe she doesn’t have good social skills with us native folk? But suffice to say, useless.

The food was great and the service was great. I’ll definitely order from here again!

Tried here again as it's rebranded and maybe new management? If it is then somehow it's managed to get even worse. All our food was cold and they're only around the corner, food was bland and really greasy. Prawn toast was stale, chili chips tasted like they were from yesterday, cold, hard and bland.

Ordered from here before and had great delivery. Tonight ordered and was 10mins after the approx delivery time slot overall and was barely warm.

Usually have a great takeaway from here, salt and pepper combo box for 2 is what the wife and I go to. However the quality has drastically dropped. It tasted like they dropped a bag of salt into the box and we physically could not eat it. This meal has left us both with salt burns in our mouth. Horrible meal.

Fast delivery but I really feel compelled to say this has to be the blandest nastiest tasting Chinese I have experienced in quite some time salt and pepper chicken like cardboard chips nasty hot and sour soup was grim mushrooms tasted like they had been boiled in dish water never again would I order from this place

I am so angry with the service I have received this evening!! I gave VERY CLEAR instructions on how to get to my home. Even though you’ve delivered here MANY MANY times!! Your drive is a rude C!! Whoever answered the phone is a rude C!! Didn’t speak The driver didn’t follow instructions expected me to come out in to the main road. Went to the back of my home which is all locked up. Eventually came to where he was supposed to and THREW my food on the floor. I will NEVER EVER order from you again.

Absolutely horrendous quality of food. Very disappointed with the whole order. Wet, slimy chicken that tasted disgusting. Dry chips and a pancake roll dripping in oil. Will not order from here ever again

Lovely meal, golden chips cooked just right. Tasty beef chow mien with crispy noodles. Peking ribs, best I have tasted for a while, the sauce was delicious and the garnish was a nice touch. Chicken and prawns in batter, fried to perfection. I will definitely order again.

Disgusting customer service they missed out a meal when we collected when we got home and realised and rang them up said that it’s not their fault and ours because “ we never ordered it “ when we definitely did , then said we would have to pay twice and then started to be rude , don’t order from here CRISPY DUCK is way cheaper and much better !

Delivered 2 fried rice instead of one of them being chips. Sighed repeatedly when I rang and he demanded I pay to deliver the missing chips. The rice literally had a wig in it!..actually 6 long hairs ...could not eat it for risk of needing a haircut within in 6 weeks time!

I ordered crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce and got dry crispy chilli chicken. I also ordered a Coca Cola lemon, and got an original coke instead. When I’ve tried to complain on just eat before it’s been so difficult I haven’t even bothered..

VERY good food, delivery arrived just under 5 min prior to early side of estimate and the delivery person followed my instructions very well.

The salt and pepper combo box was far too salty which was a shame as your food is normally very tasty.

Phoned in order, was told be 5mins to go collect, arrived to collect and was already waiting for me in a thermal bag..was practically cold and obviously been microwaved and not very well Will never go again..AVOID AVOID AVOID

The prawn crackers and chips were stale and the chips were also cold. I questioned if the beef was even beef because of the disgusting taste (could of been out of date) and the chicken was fatty and powdery. I would never order from here again, wouldn't recommend

The guy who delivered was busy shooting On the phone when delivering as was quite unnerving.

Food quality is so-so. The prices have gone up and the quantity and quality has gone down a lot! Not worth the money. AWFUL!
