Really enjoyed, will be going back again.

Had a takeaway last night served straight away as was nearly clooseing time got a chef special salt and pepper punchy Box price was 20 with a bottle of coke food was totally no flavour literally plain

Had a takeaway from Lucky China on Mother's Day, delicious as always but to make it extra special I received a Mother's day card and a bear glass mug from them which finished off the day perfectly, thank you so much.

Food was OK, place needs a lick of paint but overall food was good and at a reasonable price.

Staff super friendly and helpful, food cooked quickly and piping hot, reasonably priced too. Marked down as the sauce was vinegary and food a little too salty in places. Generally a satisfactory takeaway if you're looking for a cheap Chinese meal

Good Chinese with online ordering and delivery

Ordered at 6:00pm, stated it would be 105mins till delivery so 19:50pm not ideal but I accepted it, rang at 19:55pm sorry its running late, okay, arrives just gone 8:00pm ice cold, rang them they will collect and send another, 8:20pm they collect but no new food, it won't be long they said arrived at 8:35pm same meal just microwaved. Terrible I paid over £30 for the food and £3 for delivery, absolutely shocking dont even bother I won't again.

The food is always spot on, I always get a chicken fried rice and it’s always nice and doesn’t take too long to make either

Food was lukewarm, chicken curry was congealed, special fried rice was cold, chowmein was lukewarm, chicken balls were lukewarm, a very unhelpful woman suggested a 10% discount off our next order. As we had put some of the food on plates and tried to eat it. They would not replace the order with fresh hot food . We will not order from them again, We have deleted the app and will not use them again..

Very disappointed. Bland food curry sauce absolutely tasteless. !! Tried it again thought it may of been a bad night But no !! Curry sauce watery no taste.

Looks good but tastes mediocre! Do not try Sweet and sour pork, the sauce is just vinager! Disgusting! Beef with green pepper has the same flavor as a ice cube ! Worst Chinese food ever ! Didn't give up first time, but the second time came worst ! So, never more !

VERY poor sorry to say not a good thing to say about this take away. ordered sweet and sour chicken which tasted of pure vinegar. chicken chow mien, unable to describe the taste and as for the beef and cashew we threw that out, curry sauce was very watery. All in all we will not even go back to get our money back.

This is the only place in the area I can get a good Chinese takeaway. I usually order the same stuff, but the food is almost always top quality. I do have some issues, the portions are not substantial for the price, which has risen a lot in the last year. I understand why the prices have had to go up and wouldn't have an issue with it, but when I order £30+ worth of food on a regular basis, some complimentary prawn crackers would be appreciated. That said, I have never had a quicker delivery when it comes to this place. I am not kidding, one time I was ordering on my phone while playing a game with friends online expecting it to be 20 minutes at least, and in 6- 10 the doorbell went. One last note, later opening times on the online ordering would be great.

Very unhappy, obviously problems with the website so called to check I was within delivery area at 2 miles. Told by very offhand woman that I could check on website and could only pay by card via the site. When I tried to explain the problem I was having, was greeted by "look, do you want to order food or not? Oh well, back to Spice 37. Always excelled food and service, just fancied a chinese.

Very bland no taste to any of it & the curry sauce was watery & tasteless

First time to this take away in a couple of years. I see the name has changed again. Just ordered a simple dish. Chips and curry sauce. Fast and friendly service. Chips were fresh and piping hot. Sauce was a little thin but good enough. Simple and tasty . Will go back again 🙂

Would NEVER eat here again! After being charged over £40 for 3 rices and 2 mains. The food arrived. To give you an idea of what the issue i had is. £2.40 for 1 sausage. A SAUSAGE! ! And it wasnt even battered! I was charged £11.40 for a chicken fried rice and 2 plain sausages. Absolute joke! How you lot are still in business is beyond me.

Food was ok, hardly any sauce and a bit dry. No free prawn crackers for spending over £20 like other Chinese takeaways. Delivered quickly though.

If you want a 'house special foo yung' expecting something special don't bother. A container shaped lump of egg with 2 prawns and a piece of onion is by no means special. Shame really food is normally quite good but this was really quite bad

First time using Lucky China and definitely will not be using again. My meal was so bland and a complete waste if money!!

I have struggled to find a decent Chinese takeaway for years since moving here but all of the orders I've had from Lucky China in the past year have been delicious. Would highly recommend the satay chicken skewers, BBQ spare ribs, any of the rice and chow mein dishes and actually so many more of the main dishes. I haven't tried everything but have not been disappointed with anything from there.

Awesome Chinese & best in the Yate/Sodbury area in my opinion.

The price and the food doesn’t match , the food just ok and prices more expensive than any other Chinese take away around my area, most ridiculous is the dumplings 6 pieces for £7.8, that’s more expensive than a proper Chinese restaurant dumplings , won’t choose here again

Ordered egg fried rice .. and crispy beef .. fish and chips .. chips where hard and cold egg fried rice was dry and crispy beef was dry not enuff sauce fish was soggy batter wasent very nice this time round i dunno if they changed chef or owners 🤔

I had a big order especially chicken balls it was very tasty and chill beef is crispy and tasty fast to get it. Warm and hot. High recommend

I ordered egg fried rice - theres barely any egg Ordered crispy chilli beef - half of its "beef" are breaded vegetables e.g. peppers. Ordered nuggets and chips - nuggets tasted like cardboard.

I ordered online and have to say how absolutely disappointed I am with the meal I received. Stodgy overcooked food, some things massively underseasoned and some items so salty it made me vomit.the oil sits on top of the dishes and chips are clearly cooked in oil that shouldve been disposed of weeks prior to my order. The comparison to online to inshop prices are different too. If I could rate this a zero believe me I would. You couldnt pay me to eat at this establishment again. DISGUSTING!! 🤢🤢🤢

We ordered for delivery. The food was OK but lacked any flavour. The crispy beef was in a slimy sauce, the chowmein was dry and literally tasted of nothing. We’ve had worse but if you like a good Chinese full of flavour, this is not the place for you!

The lemon chicken had no taste at all. We had to pour more sauce to get the flavours. Satay chicken sauce was too thick.

Delivery is extremely slow ordered at 6.30pm. The website states 45 minute delivery however it turned up after 95 minutes. For only 2 dishes this seems a very long wait and as I'm close to the store I would have thought it would have been quicker. (My fault for being a lazy cow I guess) Chicken curry was very watery and luke warm so had to reheat which was unfortunate. Normally enjoy the chow meins from here however tonight it was very dry and mushy in consistency. Tasted like it had been reheated and left to dry out for 2 years. Very unpleasant. The delivery driver was polite and apologised as she couldn't find the address. Overall its a standard Chinese takeaway you get what you pay for but would recommend collecting in store if you want to avoid starving to death.

Food luke warm, (normally hot) chicken pink in the middle, spring rolls were just bean sprouts no vegetables as normal very strong taste of soy sauce, nothing else. Will never use them again totally disappointed for £37.50 expected better

Have been customers for years. Pre-ordered online today as usual. Had confirmation of order at 5pm, promising food at 6.15pm. Still waiting at 6.35pm. Some of my family who ordered had a taxi booked & have had to leave without their food. Unacceptable & disappointing. And it is now 7pm and no sign of our food. Phone constantly engaged, someone who I knew was ordering in the shop asked where my order was, twenty minutes ago. The reply "I think it's on it's way". Clearly not. And all the money has been taken so can't even cancel. Furious , tbh.

Usually great food, sadly let down this evening. Ok was expecting the long wait , it is saturday, wasnt prepared for STONE cold food when it did eventually arrive. Obnoxious women who answered the phone. Should get someone with a better telephone manner and a delivery driver who knows what hes doing. WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN.

Ordered different boxes for 3 people . Order was delivered before the time given and so please with the portion. Taste really good and really enjoy my meal there. Will definitely order again and more often from this place.

Quality of food doesn’t justify the price, chips dry/reheated, chicken balls are processed chicken, slimy and funny smell,dripping in grease. Rice ok but dirty oil, poor standard of meat. Sweet and sour sauce loaded with vinegar, crispy chicken is soggy, in vinegar sauce and no flavour. Will not order again. Would have been disappointed at half what we paid. Website charges more if using cards, paper menu is cheaper. However menu says £1 charge for delivery, website charges £2.50.... steer clear

Improved so much ,can honestly say they are the best Chinese you will find ,super clean , freindly and will work with you for allergy's or diet restrictions , food tastes so good ,meat and chicken was super soft and juicy , and the rice and chow mein had SO SO SO much flavour ,me and my family's go to Chinese and the sizes are really good value for the price

Really liked the food ,had the plain chow mein ,fried rice chips and curry sauce and spring rolls ,all was delicious and now me and my partners regular Chinese 😅

AMAZING FOOD , me and my partner tried other Chinese but they were DISGUSTING so was hesitant to try here due to the reviews but we were extremely surprised because the dishes are delicious!!! Recommend 👍

This is the second time ive been her since it changed hands had sweet and sour chicken balls they were rock hard and chicken was disgusting. Today we had battered sausages couldn't put knife thru them VERY over cooked. What a shame gave it 2nd chance never again !

Can't remember going here, so if I have, ate the food and not died, then it must be ok.

Sadly after a longwait the food was a disappointment...first and last time of ordering from here.

Wrong order asked for battered sausage and chips as well as other food but got 2 spring rolls Insted of a sausage and no pancakes as ordered. Collected in the pooring rain to get home to find order was wrong. Food was nice but wasn't going out in the rain again with a hungry 3 year old. So had to cook even though this was a treat! Also a 30min wait even though it wasn't busy.

Not the best Chinese takeaway I've used. They were fast and friendly, but I'd rather wait a little longer and get tastier food that looks more appetising!

Nice food, shut now, or taken over

3/3/18 now called taste of china. Had a simple meal of chips, chicken balls and curry sauce. Soggy chicken balls, no flavour in the curry sauce. Average chips. Not very friendly just happy to see some cash. They had a paper in there to read from 18the Feb, 15 days old. Not a big deal to most people but to me suggests theyre not too worried about the customers during waiting times.

Used to be my favourite! Since they've changed hands everything is vile. The fish is obviously gone off. The sauces have no taste and everything leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Horrible service too, when you have to return as they've given the wrong food, they look and speak to you like a bit of dirt! Kids running around the kitchen gone 9pm isn't great either is it. Avoid and spend your money else where!

Average food. Had to wait 30 mins in the shop. When we got home it was cold. Had 3 different meals and all tasted the same. Back to Many''s for us!!
