Excellent food, second time using Lucky Chef and it’s been top class on both occasions. Will definitely be back again.

Chicken balls were the best but the singapore noodles were dry and rubbery, egg fried rice no soya sauce so kids wouldn’t eat them, the salt and pepper chicken tasted old, when I rung up to complain they said it was my fault 🤦‍♀️ did manage to get £7 back … would never order from them again

Chicken chow mein more like chicken hunt noodle mushy shredded chicken ok at least there was no hairs this time

After reading the reviews thought I'd try it out. I thought the food was pretty tasteless no soya on fried rice so just taste like boiled rice, and batter on salt and pepper prawns was soggy, However the chicken balls was probably the best I've had, hence the 3 stars Delivery was on time too

On neighbours' recommendation. Excellent quality and spicy where appropriate. A few different choices beyond the generic. Great value. Order and pay on line. Easy to use and very efficient. Friendly and cheerful delivery service. Consequently we now use on a regular basis. HANDY TIP. Tip the driver in cash when he delivers. Ordered my takeaway Then 30 minutes later got a food hub message saying it was rejected. No call, no apology, just a massive waste of my time. Sort out your customer service.

waited 1 and 1/2 hours for food and when arrived, cold and the food was terrible, no flavour

This has to be the best Chinese takeaway I think I have ever had. All four of us ordered something different and we all said how fantastic our dish was. The portion sizes were huge and so very fresh and so tasty. I would definitely recommend ordering from here the food and service was just awesome.

Arrived within 50 mins Piping hot and delicious. Portions were big enough that we couldn't eat it all so will save our pancake rolls for later. I had the salt and pepper box....best I have had.....ever. The crispy beef in it was fabulous and plentiful , with 4 chicken balls, 5 ribs and lots of crispy chicken pieces and more than enough salt and pepper chips, also it comes with both sweet and sour AND curry sauces. We will definately be ordering here again.

Ordered takeaway delivery. Came fast, food was hot and fresh. Everything was full of flavour, the portions were huge and we couldn't find a fault at all!

Food was amazing! Fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced! Ordered on line for collection whilst staying locally. Really easy to place order and pay online. Food was ready at the time we booked it for. Cannot fault the service.

Staying at a nearby holiday park. Looking for decent Chinese. This didn't disappoint. Delicious food at a good price, ready in 15 minutes. Had duck pancakes, sweet and sour chicken Hong, Kong style, Beef Satay and Shrimp fried rice. Everything was fresh and tasty.

The best Cantonese food in the area. Food tasty, takeaway hot on delivery. What more can you ask for? Will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely delicious! Always tasty and delivered fast n hot. Happy to remove onion from a dish due to an allergy, which could be trouble for some places. The new Mock Chicken/Duck is very nice actually, wife being a vegetarian, I believe it's Jackfruit rather than Quorn, which gives it a Legit duck texture/look. Always fast, always delish and always a great price. Highly recommended!!

Iv not had a Chinese in months and ordered a meal from Lucky Chef, it was amazing ! By far the tastiest sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style by far ! Will definitely come back, food was lovely and hot when we got home too

One of the best chinese takeaways in the bay 😁 Been going here for about 11 years and even when it's been taken over the food qaulity has never changed. Definitely recommend and very quick service.

Food was good UPDATE This is our favourite Chinese takeaway after trying a few others and not being impressed. They always put 2-3 proper King Prawns in the Special Chow Mein (some other put in a handful of little ones) good amount of meat too and the batter balls are huge. Great Pancake rolls too. Sauces are Tasty and varied (some others seem to have the same sauce for most things) In my opinion avoid Tasty House, Willows and China Garden. Each to their own.

An unfortunate incident with the word 'vegetable' mistaken for 'special' resulted in the wrong dish being cooked. All was sorted in the end although the special chow mein smelt a lot better than vegetable chow mein, apparently the dish was ok.

Only stopped in to grab a bag of chips, staff were friendly and the place was clean, can see into kitchen while they're cooking too which I like...by the way the chips were spot on too!!

Disgusting food. I wasted 20£ for chicken in Hong Kong style and it didn’t even taste as chicken. If they didn’t have chicken they could have phone or cancel order. I will never order from that restaurant again, also sauce tasted more like tomato sauce, not Hong Kong style sauce.

Good quality food. Hot. Good with portions. I recommend this place. And it is very quick to make

I’ve tried every Chinese in Torquay and none are as good as the Chineses up north in Manchester.But this one is is properly one off the best Chineses in Torquay! Large portions quick service and nice food. Just not quite a 5 star. So this is the Chinese I order from regularly. Thanks for your service
