I came here for a bubble tea and I wasn't disappointed. I had a milk vanilla tea with mango bubbles and it was very delicious. The service was also very quick and there was plenty of seating

My daughter and I had heard good things about the Boba teas so we decided to come and visit. It’s a lovely cafe, good music and the boba tea was great ( I would highly recommend the dragonfruit and mango boba.)

This is a review for the Middlesbrough branch where we had a lovely lunch. My Grandson enjoyed his Veggie (everything is Veggie or Vegan) sandwich and we all had a lovely meal. The crispy Tofu and Loaded Fries where a lovely starter and the rice dishes we had where really flavoursome and lovely. My son (who is a proper vegetarian) enjoyed his "The Big Veggie" breakfast meal and I really enjoyed the "Bubble Tea" drink which was lovely. Highly recommend a visit

The most wonderful and welcoming place I've ever walked into. It's a sad day if I don't get the time to go here. All of the staff who work here are such lovely people and never fail to cheer me up when I go in. They've got quite a variety of drinks to try and are always helpful with recommendations if you're struggling! The waffles are also to die for! Plenty options of toppings. Literally my fav place and 2nd home 💛

Spotted this new Bubble Tea Café online and just had to visit in person. Curiosity didn't kill this cat, however! While the café was very small, it made excellent use of its space to create a homey, intimate atmosphere. Lots of plants and hanging lightbulbs, wooden counters and colourful menu items lend a quaint 'homemade' feel to the place. It just screams welcome, as do the people serving you. So friendly and as bubbly as the tea bubbles! We ordered a Hazelnut Latte with Tapioca Pearls, Strawberry iced tea with Lemon Popping Juice Bubbles, a Kinder Waffle, and a Strawberry and Chocolate waffle that had a particular name that I can't quite remember. Very impressed with how quickly we were served given there was only two people handling the whole place, including online orders, so enormous kudos to your hard work! Clearly you're very popular! I've never had bubble tea before, and it truly is a unique experience. The Tapioca in my latte was chewy with an odd, neutral taste that I can't describe. It wasn't unpleasant at all, quite tasty in fact, and helped alter my palette which added to my coffee. The Strawberry iced tea is amazingly fruity when I tried it and the popping bubbles are just... so weird, I love it. Very satisfying when they pop in the mouth! Everything tasted so pure. The waffles are divine! ♥ The right texture and warmth, just delicious down to the last bite and everything was incredibly fresh. I'm glad I skipped lunch to have nothing but a cheeky dessert here, because it was so filling and satisfying that I couldn't eat another bite. Great value for money and such a lovely hideaway from the bustle of the street. Had such a wonderful time here and hope to come back again. Ignore the other reviews of ignorant folk: this is a much needed gem of Sunderland. (If the owners are reading this, sorry I surprised you with my sudden picture taking. I made sure no faces were included and just wanted to share this fantastic place with others. If I had one recommendation, it would be to perhaps sell some small sandwiches or toasties on the side to help complimemt all the sweets on the menu with something more solid on the stomach. We loved our visit though: thank you!)

Hygiene isn’t the best especially given the pandemic. Please wear gloves on all occasions when handling the food and putting the ice into the drinks; I don’t want someone’s bare hands touching my food :( The drinks are ok, abit watery, but the lack of awareness of spreading germs/cross contamination puts me off.

Bought 3 different flavour of bubble tea (mango milk tea, taro milk tea, brown sugar milk tea) ALL of them were watery. Very diluted. I would just travel to Newcastle for bubble tea. The day I visited, the boba pearls were undercooked. However, their fruity popping pearls were nice and bubble waffle were nice.

Wouldn’t really rate it. These kind of shops are popping up everywhere and there is really nothing special about bubble tea. The taste was ok. Presentation was poor, and social distancing means nothing to this shop

Visited 10th April for dinner for my birthday. Friend had a £50 voucher so made use of that before it runs out. Glad we had the voucher as I'd have been highly disappointed if we had to pay for this. Arrived and weren't seated. I asked at the bar if they had any tables for 3, waiter said yeah over there. So we sat in the corner as we had my 4 year old son with me. Waitress arrived with menus. Came back after about 10 mins and took drinks order and food order. I asked if the children's chicken goujons were battered or breaded and she didn't know so went to find out. Came back and advised breaded and we ordered. I felt the pizza options were pretty limited given it's described as a pizzeria.. I ordered a CYO pizza with mushrooms, sweet corn and red onion. I ordered my son (children's menu) the melon and fruit starter, battered fish fingers and asked to swap the chips for skin on fries, friend ordered a pepperoni pizza. 2 ciders and an apple juice for drinks. Kids starter arrived covered in a strawberry syrup and was mostly melon, with two small pineapple chunks and one strawberry. I had to remove the syrup though as he doesn't like it and don't recall that being listed on the menu. After about 15 minutes our pizzas arrived first and then the children's main. The red onion looked and tasted more like pickled red cabbage, and the cheese didn't appear to be fully melted so felt it could have had a little extra cooking time. Friend for pepperoni which looked about as good as any pepperoni pizza can look. He said it was basic and ate it but for the price would've expected better. Children's main arrived with chips. No one came to check on the food so I had to go to the bar to explain it was supposed to be fries. They got some sent out and they were colourless, tasteless and under cooked. I tried the fish fingers and they tasted of nothing more than deep fried batter, wasn't a lot of fish in them. I asked for my pizza to be boxed and the waited came and dropped a box on the table and walked away. We were not offered anymore drinks, a dessert menu or asked if the food was ok or if we needed anything else the entire visit. I had to go to the bar to ask for the bill even though it was clear we were finished. I presented the waiter with the voucher and he disappeared for ten minutes. Came back and explained there was a £2 accidental charge added and they can't remove it so they've cleared it. Assumed that was it and went to leave. Collared at the door for a further £8.25 charge for the remained of the bill that wasn't mentioned. Paid and left. While the bar and restaurant itself is clean, and had a pretty chilled vibe, the staff aren't attentive, if you need something you'll find yourself having to get up to go and find someone to ask for it, which when you're paying the prices they charge you'd expect to be at least asked if your food is ok or if you need anymore drinks, you'll find this in the most basic of places and your local pub, and the food will be better quality and half the price. The food it's self is pretty basic for the cost, and there are a lot of places local will serve a similar menu at a fraction of the cost and the food is much better. I'd have at least expected the pizzas to be decent considering they advertise as a pizzeria and smokehouse. The total bill came to £60.25 after getting the receipt, for a kids starter and main, 2 pizzas, 2 old mout and 1 apple juice. For that I'd have expected a lot better quality food and more attentive staff. Feels a lot like chain pub food. Probably won't return, which is a shame because the bar and restaurant is actually quite nice.
