We had the wanton soup with noodles plus an Oreo and a biscoff milkshake. The light broth is delicate but tasty and the wantons are delicious. A perfect soup - more filling than you would imagine. Fresh as you like. The milkshakes are to die for.

Today I visited Loving Hut in Brighton as wanted to try something different, I Tried a dish called Szechuan with rice and chia black tea with lemon. I really enjoyed it. Staff are polite, friendly, happy to help with any questions I had. Staff very knowledgeable about the dishes as some restaurants aren't. Also pleased as the the restaurant are fully cooperating and inline with government guidance with COVID keeping us all safe Definitely go back to loving hut Brighton

We stopped in this cute vegan restaurant for tea with friends. The oat milk Chai was delicious and warming. Unfortunately we had already had lunch because when we saw what others were eating it all looked very appetizing including a selection of cakes. The owners are really friendly and it was a very joyful moment. We’ll be back!

We came here for a Saturday lunch time. I has the ocean burger and my partner had the loving hut burger. Both were really tasty, cooked well and the buns came bursting with salad and vegan coleslaw- bonus! There is a lot on the menu which, for a vegan is pretty amazing as I’m used to only having a few choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful It’s worth noting that the restaurant area is very small, only about 6 tables in total so I can imagine at busy times it’s difficult to get a table. They also do takeaway food. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Very poor vegan ch'kn nuggets and chips. Couldn't have told you if they were trying to imitate chicken nuggets unless I was told, could have been fish fingers for all I knew, no flavour. Was like a poor school dinner, chips awful, nuggets worse. I can only imagine the Asian vegan food would have been a better choice. I wouldn't recommend.

Both my partner and I got the chick'n wraps which were very nice. However, they do also come with chips which make the £6.95 price tag a little more bearable but the chips are a bit rubbish. On the plus side, the homemade vegan mayo that I had with my chips is very good. We sat out the front as it was a nice day. It's a great little spot to sit and watch the world go by.

Loads of options and variation in cuisine- had Asian options, English, bakery goods and milkshakes. Had fish and chips, satay sticks and noodles for about £20ish. Great flavours, free sauces and water as well. Lovely staff. Later went back for a milkshake and brownie which were delicious. Only downside is the proportions are a little small and there isn’t really an atmosphere- but it’s clean.

We’re a vegan mum and daughter visiting Brighton for a few days and heard about this place. The food here was overpriced and the portions were miniscule. I ordered the set lunch option which was 5.95 for a tiny plate of 2 small sausages and about 10 chips. My friend paid around 8 pounds for satay chick'n which was also a child-size portion of oily, watery veg with some boiled rice and about 3 soy chunks. It made her very ill afterwards until the next morning. She also got a milkshake which was nice but again about 5 pounds for a small glass.

Being vegan I find eating out quite hard, I usually have to look through the entire allergen menu to try to find something I can eat and there isn't much that I can. Here was completely different, as absolutely everything was vegan. It was so nice to go somewhere and not only be able to eat everything on the menu but also not feel weird or judged. I also have anxiety so I usually get someone else to order for me, but the staff here were so nice and friendly that I felt comfortable to order by myself. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great and very calming, will definitely go again if I'm ever in Brighton. Just thought I'd add that dogs are allowed in the downstairs seating area which I also loved.

A friend came to visit from London and was keen to try the Loving Hut. It was cold and rainy when we arrived, the cafe was empty and we were served quickly. We ordered our food at the counter, paid and sat down to wait. We were both somewhat disappointed when our food arrived, particularly as it did not arrive together. The portions were tiny and not very hot. As we began to eat, my friend discovered a small, curly hair in her meal. It looked very much like a pubic hair. She was horrified and both of us stopped eating. We alerted the staff member bringing food to the table next to us and she took the plate away, apologising. She returned and said the chef had offered a free dessert but by this time we had both lost our appetites. My friend was given a refund of her meal and we left. It’s doubtful that I’d ever return.

Second visit. I came again on strength of the snack - wonton soup - had on first visit which was delicious. This time, quite hungry, I ordered the tofu veg & rice stir fry. I paid £6:50 for very small portion of what purported to be tofu but tasted a lot more like wheat gluten, & some broccoli, carrot & bean sprouts in a sauce - tasting like something you'd expect from an average Chinese takeaway. In fact you'd get a larger portion from the average Chinese takeaway for this price. Despite the mean serving size, I felt bloated afterwards - suggesting it was seitan & not tofu in the stir fry. I may be wrong: seitan not on menu, but felt its taste & texture suspect. The staff were friendly & the service good but for a quality vegan experience, go next door to Infinity, where you get generous portions of gorgeous organic vegan food for very competitive prices.

I decided on a burger with fries which was just under £8, normal price for a good veg burger but what arrived was simply put, rubbish! The bun was a cheap white bap, the type you get in a £1.99 chicken shop deal. The patty was OK but I suspect out of a frozen box from some cheap cash and carry. Lettuce and coleslaw tasteless. Choosing this cafe was a slight error of judgement, I'd searched for new vegan places in Brighton and this place came up and I got too excited too soon. Actually, it was a disappointment , I expected a range of fresh dishes with lots of colourful salads, raw and more gluten free options, instead the menu looked way too fry uppy, with many fake meat flavoured soya based options. My friend had the mushroom noodles and I had a gluten free noodle dish, after some negotiations of what might be suitable, but we didn't really enjoy our meals. The waiter was helpful and nice but he also recommended a soy free dumpling starter which turned out to have soy mince. All in all, it's great to have all this choice in Brighton and even better to have pure vegan places but I don't think this one is for me.

We don't live in Brighton but try to visit regularly, and will always try and pop into Loving Hut. I particularly like the spicy burgers, my husband usually has a stir fry. If we eat somewhere else, we'll visit Loving Hut for a coffee and some of their gorgeous banana fritters or cheesecake. This place is a gem and we love it here!

We were so excited to try this place and it didn't disappoint. We had lunch of crispy 'duck' and also the sharing starter plate. It was all delicious. The staff were very friendly, smiley and helpful. We want to go back and try more!

I have never come across such an amazing choice of vegan food! Seriously, the whole, very varied menu is vegan, and what a choice there is. So many dishes. Even my meat eating granddaughter was very happy with her meal, so there really is something to suit everyone. Lovely staff, great food, nice atmosphere. I will definitely come back here and highly recommend it.

This place had a great menu and after eating there on our first day in Brighton we decided to come back the next day (new years day) but it was closed.... oh well, an excuse to visit Brighton again sometime soon! Was also pleased to see it is a chain so hopefully we'll come across it in another country one day. Really great choice of vegan foods, from sushi, to burgers, to vegan duck wraps.... we ordered so much and loved it all!

The guy who served us was called Alex and he was the friendliest person ever, helped us to choose a dish or five (!). Honestly, the service here is absolutely top notch.

Am spoilt for choice being a new vegan living near Brighton and the many options are gradually unfolding. Feeling very hungry on Wednesday lunchtime, I hunted down Loving Hut which I had heard good things about. Loving Hut is quite unobtrusive in a street full of cafe/restaurants and has a lot of competition around it so please make a beeline for it. It will be worth it. The menu is extensive and there is something to please everyone and especially vegans and vegetarians. I had the mock crispy duck pancakes which were absolutely delicious and served with a smile. (And lots of help with choosing). For dessert I chose salted caramel chocolate brownies and ice 'cream' which were absolutely delicious. As well as the wide selection of savoury dishes on the menu there were also some gorgeous looking cakes including cupcakes. Choices of drinks were plentiful too - including a wide variety of healthy juices and teas. This cafe/restaurant matched up to what I had herd about it and I will definitely be going back. Thank you Loving Hut!
