Staff need lessons in customer service.I stood on my own at the counter waiting to be served while both of the staff were stood together looking at pictures on their smartphones. When my wife told them that a customer was waiting she got a childish and petulant"alright I'm coming"!! I walked off in disgust and won't be going back.A shame you can't give a zero score because this place deserves it.

Called in today for Latte and a Sausage Roll and to my surprise the price had gone up 55% The Latte was nothing special and the sausage roll was a cheap off the supermarket shelf Staff were ok but for £7.95 it was nothing special Won’t be going there again

It was really busy on the scenery. There were too much dirty tables and I had to clear out my chosen table after I paid and bought my Pink Lemonade. It was kind of a hit and miss cafe for me to be fair when I am waiting for my phone to be repaired and fixed. I only went there to do some sewing and catching up my work while I am still waiting for my phone at the Phone Corner next door to Lloyd's TSB Bank. I am not sure if I am going to be coming back at all!

This is an awful uninviting coffee shop. Dirty tables, piled up rubbish and pretty bad service to boot! Cakes rated very stale and poor quality coffee! Will not be returning !

Been fairly regular for the past 7 months, and never had an experience like today. My friend and I went in today around 4 o’clock, she ordered a salted caramel frappe no cream with coffee, the staff member « Amy » promptly forgot these requests, and had to be reminded as she was putting cream on (not sure if she did actually put coffee in), we both wrote it off until I was served, I am lactose intolerant, and asked for an oat latte with vanilla, at first she had the regular milk jug for steaming and I had to interject and then when pouring my coffee shot, she attempted to use a takeaway cup that had been face down in the water/coffee/milk mixture in the tray of the machine (as it had been taken apart for I assume cleaning 3 hours before closing), I then asked her not to use that cup as not only do I have allergy to milk it’s also really gross, the whole time they were being standoffish, and then when I got my drink there was no vanilla as she had forgot that too, although she apologized and corrected the error, it just felt really uncomfortable to ask for what I paid for to be made safely and properly, the rude demeanor took us both off guard, I have never had anything happen like this before but it’s just disappointing and below standards.

Nicely decorated. Bright. Staff were not that helpful. Food was mediocre. Service was ok. Wouldn’t bother coming back here again - there are better places.

Tesco has a fabulous range of gluten free products, the Tesco cafe does not. One gluten free mince pie at Christmas, that’s it. Surely it is not difficult to provide an occasional gluten free cake / slice so couples or families can have similar treats with a tea or coffee. Always disappointing!
