We’ve eaten here a few times now and had several takeaways too. The food is always delicious and good sized portions too. Friendly staff and a really beautiful old building with great atmosphere.

Went here for a takeaway a few weekends ago. Ordered online which was very easy to do. Food was excellent! It was all ready when I got there, very quick. They fulfilled a request for us to change something on their set menu, it was supposed to come with Mushroom bahji and we asked for this to be changed to Onion bahji which they did without issue. All the food was delicious, no complaints. The onion bahjis are huge and some of the best I've had, I'm glad we had extra! Very good overall, would recommend, better than other takeaways in Royston!

This is my 2nd takeaway from them in 1 month and both times been very happy with the service and food quality. Food was delivered hot, this makes a change compared to many other local delivered takeaways, the food quality and flavour is fantastic. Portion sizes are plenty and left us very full. We'll done and thanks.

We chose Louge India based on excellent reviews here. The restaurant did not disappoint on any measure. We are not local and called in for an early evening meal en route. A nice wecome, excellent food with a wide range of dishes for all tastes. Well presented meals and quality table linen. Definitely worthy of the best rating and thoroughly recommended.

Had a lovely family meal here on Friday evening, the food was excellent and the staff were super friendly! For a family that have a lot of curries and have tried many places, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough 🙌🏼

Absolutely delicious food, couldn’t fault it. We had a mixed meat starter and each meat was cooked to perfection. My partner had a salmon dish and it was beautifully cooked. Some really different and exciting things on the menu as well as the expected classics. Service was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again!

Excellent food as always. Great choice of your more ‘traditional’ British curry house favourites and also some great house and chef specials. Lamb Jhaal Bhuna Masala is a superb dish.

Oh my god just finished our takeaway and what a takeaway it was by far the best Indian food we have had in a very long time we ordered varied dishes one of us being vegetarian, plenty of choice for the veggie and the dishes I ordered non veggie are above and beyond... Will not go no where else.. thankyou lounge India for a superb new years day feast

Could not have been happier with this meal. It was absolutely flawless. From the efficient menu providing on arrival to the most welcome assistance with rice selection, Lounge India ticked every box. The route to our table was clear and unobstructed and the food was as warm as the welcome. My companions both had duck dishes, the word succulent was used more than once I’m sure. The post meal Bounty segment was a welcome change to the usual after 8 mint. All in all this restaurant is a 5 star for sure.

My previous experiences with this place have always been brilliant and I would say it’s the best curry house in town. I got a takeaway this evening, naan was burnt and crispy, the creamy korma was not creamy but had little lumps in it. Really disappointed weather it’s because I got delivery and they were busy who knows but wasn’t worth the money this time

Best onion Bhajis around. Staff not that attentive, and saddened to say that, even though the bill comes and states ‘service charge not included’, they do indeed add 10% to your bill underneath your drinks orders. Disappointingly underhand and won’t be returning on this basis.

I had an amazing experience with lounge India. Nice and clean environment with friendly customer service. Fresh flowers on a tiny flower vase got me really. Food was fresh , I still remember the fresh flavour from mint sauce. Before I make a paragraph of all food I would like share that whatever I had was amazing 👌and affordable.

Excellent service as per usual, the food was very tasty, and full of flavour. The staff were attentive and friendly but not too intrusive.

Lounge India is a perfect place to go and visit. The customer service was amazing. The food which we ordered were all so full of delicious flavours and was all cooked well to perfection. I rate this experience a solid 10/10 and I definitely will be visiting in the future again.

First time of ordering from this restaurant. I can't believe the service we got it was so so good. Ordered a takeaway for delivery. The delivery man was so pleasant and the food was piping hot. The portions were great value for money and huge. Being an Indian food lover I would say the best we have had for years. Wow, would recommend to anyone. They now have our custom totally from now on. We came for the first time this evening having lived in Royston for long enough to have no excuse. I'd definitely advise booking in advance, as it fills out quickly. The service was spectacular, with friendly and accommodating staff. A wide range of spirits and the iconic Cobra on tap, and enough choice in curry, sides and sundries to leave you spoiled for choice. My girlfriend wants to highlight how big and tasty the bhaji are. If, like me, you're in for something off-menu, the team will do their best to accommodate. With both Lounge India and The Royal Bengal, Royston is the place to be for curries, spicy or otherwise. Our favourite Indian restaurant

Visited last Sunday and although the restaurant was quite they seemed to have lots of take out orders coming in. Our food was delicious and came very quickly. The waiter was lovely too as he is everytime we visit.

Came here as my usual didn’t have a table free so thought I would give it a try and reviews looked good ! But very disappointed with the service I received. Took my friend here for a meal for Xmas we Pre booked a table that wasn’t ready . 1 hour wait between starter & mains! Starter was - a mix kebab that was lovely! but was suppose to be serviced “sizzling “ it wasn’t! I understand it’s a busy time of year ! But had to kept getting up to ask the staff for more drinks, where are food was ect … food was really nice just the service wasn’t good especially when the bill was very expensive! Don’t mind paying the extra bit but expect a bit of service ! Unfortunately we will not be returning

We usually order takeaways from here, but decided to pop in off the hop to see if we could eat in and we were showed to a table straightaway. We were given our menus and asked if we wanted any drinks. We ordered them and they came very quickly. The food we ordered was very good, fresh and hot and great tastes!

First visit to this venue, having previously had various takeaways, very impressed with the welcome, the venue & range of menu. Choices of dishes came well presented and certainly did not disappoint in flavours. Look forward to trying further dishes.
