Amazing food!, you won’t be disappointed. The best Indian restaurant I’ve order from by far. Well done and it’s my first time ordering from them.

Latest arrival was 19:30, arrived 19:32, so not great. Received an extra rice, but no sauce with one of the birianis, spicy popadum was crumbs in a bag, mushroom biriani was bland a d accompanying sauce also bland. Not good as have eaten from here before and was fine, not a happy customer.

Basically inedible curry. A korma with no flavour (but good texture), and a Pathia that was entirely curry paste, with no sauce and very little meat. Rice and naans were good

Delivered fast and Delicious as always, we forgot to add a rice to the order so they gave us one for free for Xmas present as well as free poppadoms, raiti, chutney and salads. Thanks very much merry Christmas!

I ordered my meal at 1820, it was delivered at 1940. It was a Saturday so I they were busy! All the food was very warm when it was delivered. It was tasty and good value, I will use Curry Express again.

Curry Express rocks. Fantastic chicken (madras and butter chicken) and veggie (rogan, aloo gobi and chana masala) dishes tonight. Plus naans etc – all super-fresh and tasty. Plus a super-cool delivery guy. Perfect.

Only take away service. Cheaper if you order by phone than online. You must specify spicy option otherwise the food is bland. Good portion size.

have used before and it’s been okay, but tonight I was very disappointed the chicken in my curry was very dry and chewy even the lentils that my curry has were undercooked.

My order was missing the popadoms, rest of food wasn’t that tasty . Note to self don’t order here again

Today, I visited here and I had to wait for a long time for my food. I ordered tandoori roti with matar paneer. However, tandoori rotis were not cooked properly and too much thick. the taste was also not good of food. I am very disappointed with the service of food.

I accidentally ordered the wrong item on the menu for delivery & they were so polite over the phone & apologised despite it being my fault. Gents, I'm giving you a four because I've used you for years and have always been happy... But last night's lamb curry was practically vegan, just a few tiny bits in it. If the prices need to rise, so be it.. but cheaping out on the meat is going to lose you customers, I'd be sorry to see another takeaway go that way 😢

These guys are great. I've been getting currys from Curry Express for over 10 years and the currys are lovely and really consistent, they're so good. I'm normally a right moaner, and have high expectations and they deliver every time.

Just the absolute best Curry House in Hitchin. The food is absolutely fantastic consistently, they always read any specific requests left, the delivery driver is lovely, and the food always seems to come fairly quickly- and always boiling hot at that which is fantastic! Every time I have to get a curry somewhere else, I am disappointed because it is not from curry express. Their vegetable biryani with veg curry is DELICIOUS!!!!! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. First time ordering here as our normal Indian is closed on a Monday and so glad we did. The food was amazing! Came piping hot and was delicious! So reasonably priced too. Defo our new go to Indian take away 100% x

Best Indian Take Away in Hitchin

Have ordered many times previously but restaurant seems to now be closed. They took a payment online but never accepted the order or delivered. No way to cancel on their website so having to dispute this via bank as they are not answering the phone. Avoid ordering online

This takeaway doesn’t look very fancy from the outside but, oh boy, the food is absolutely fabulous. Samosas were next level. Onion Bhaji was so well balanced - crispy and juicy. King Prawn Puri was perfect flavour and consistency. Chicken Garlic Chilli Masala was rich but with no heaviness and lots of chillis (fab). I’m so pleased I chose this takeaway. Update: I have since ordered twice from this takeaway (I’m not local) and can confirm that my first meal was not a one off. Each time the food has been tremendous. Thanks to the team 👍

ordered a few times now and it's exceptionally good. Quality quantity and freshness. literally the best I've had in a long long time. Service is spot on. Staff again are very good too. I'm not a massive vegetable lover but these guys have proved that wrong. Don't let this one pass you by.

Food standard was not good. Rice was greasy. King prawn dish was not good, no King Prawns, only a couple of very small prawns. Cheesy garlic naan - cheese was processed, not good. Will not order from here again

Really impressed with the food. Bombay spuds were some of the best I've had. Very fresh tasting. All food was very tasty and plenty of it. If I had to moan I'd say although fresh the onion salad lacked something. Service was very good and delivery on point. They guy who delivered was very friendly and respectful. I'll definitely be going back.

Set meal for one with madras was nice and a good price. I’d of preferred the mint and mango dip to be a bit thicker and the onion bhaji and naan bread to be cooked a little less but still nice. Good portion sizes and lime pickle was nice too

The order was delivered more than 2 hours after I ordered it. When it arrived one item was incorrect (veggie bruna instead of lamb), the curry was bland and badly seasoned, and the onion bhaji was dripping in grease. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Unfortunately, the order was disappointing. The chicken jafrezi was dry and the lamb bhuna was not much of a bhuna. Tarka daal was watery and tasteless.. slow delivery and toi much onions.

I placed an online order and paid. I then got a message 15 minutes later saying my order had been cancelled - no explanation or apology was given. I was then informed I would have to wait 3-5 days for a refund! So my money has been taken and no food delivery! This is terrible service - I am dumbfounded!! If you aren’t open don’t take orders and process peoples payments!!
