A great bar that has had a recent modern revamp and offers a wide selection of lagers and ales, always got the sports on, would highly recommend.

Brilliant place the bar has a nice beer garden out the back with a big screen tv for the footy and the main bar has tvs all round the place. The staff are amazing gwen is always the best.

A welcome oasis of real ale in Northenden. Been to this micro bar a few times since it opened. Two hand pumps serve a changing selection of real ales. Casta had a bitter by Pomona Island. A very dark bitter and really refreshing 4.1% ale. Two good sized rooms and a large rear beer garden. Always found it a friendly bar. A lot of TV's for the footie fans. Casta also tried Wainwright Gold. Another good pint. Good selection of fizzy lagers and beers.

If you wanna chill in a place that's not tooo crowded, which has amazing beer selection and friendly staff it's a cute little local pub with really good vibe and live sport. Also if you wanna escape your wife :p they have a cute little service for it. It's hilarious.

Really nice pub with a friendly atmosphere

I have recently moved to the area and wanted to try a few local bars. We went to the lounge about and the service was awful! The attitude that the woman behind the bar had was unacceptable she came over and asked for Id - which I understand is her job but when presented to her she started shouting and embarrassed us all shouting ‘it’s not my job to come and ask for your Id why didn’t you come to the bar and show me it.’ Once she had gone one of the locals turned round and reassured us that it is actually a nice bar but you ‘just have to show your face a few times’ insinuating that the bar staff was being so rude because we hadn’t been there before. I then waited over 30 minutes for my cocktail when all my other friends was on there second drink we waited a bit longer and my boyfriend went up to the bar to ask about it when she rudely pushed past him with bin bags in her hand shouting ‘do I look ready’ ‘ i will bring them over when I am ready not when you are ready’ again embarrassing us all and uattracting attention to our table. I think the service in here was a terrible experience and I will never go here again and will be telling people to avoid this bar at all cost when you are treated like complete outsiders and spoke to so disrespectfully

Great night. Lovely bar & good music nice mixed age group. Friendly staff. Can get busy hard to get seat sometimes but all good. When football on forget about it 2 screens and noisy mens. Not my cocktail .

Been here a few times, over the years. Seats not comfy. More like crates, with a cushion on top. Wainwright was very good, didnt have that welcoming feel, and every one swearing like troopers, wasnt ideal..

Hace un tiempo, este lugar era bueno, se podía comer algo y los asientos eran grandes sofás blandos. ahora no se puede comer nada, los cómodos sofás han sido reemplazados por duros bancos de madera. El fútbol está siempre encendido, especialmente para los hombres. Si te gusta ver fútbol y emborracharte, este es el lugar para ti. ¡No volveré a esta cueva de hombres!

Been here many times now and it's a great little bar as it has two areas to sit in with a small outdoor area as well. It's not a huge place but it does have a great atmosphere & feels friendly. They also have quite a few TVs in so when there is a football match on you can watch the game & they also play music. Drinks as what you'd expect to find in a pub, they also do a few specials on Gin with procecco, delicious.

Well looked after beer and a wonderful hidden garden around the back.

A nicely furnished and friendly bar. I wide selection of drinks and also occasional live music. My go to bar in Northenden. Head and shoulders the best bar on Palatine Road and all the other bars on the road need to take note and up their game.

Watering hole for locals. Friendly clientele. Gets packed and noisy Nice pint of real ale. Basically furnished do if you want comfort you'll be disappointed. Worth a brief visit.

Surprised this bar was so good. Would definately go again.

Stopping at the nearby Britannia Hotel it was a short hop to this bar. Warm and cheerful inside with a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of brews to choose from and the girl on the bar was lovely and friendly. We are not locals but would highly recommend it

Great bar good selection of beers, safe atmosphere! I am a regular here and have been to comedy nights, live music and always find it is run well.

The front of this bar does it no favours, once you walk through the door, it blows you away, what a lovely place to hide away and have a leisurely drink or 2. The beer garden at the rear is also beautiful, its like you are away on holiday. Deffo be coming back here more often, just a shame one of us will have to drive. xx

Best night out in ages. Very friendly atmosphere. Decor beautiful. Very hospitable staff and a great range of drinks - spirits wines cocktails and beers. Loved it loved it loved it - will be going there again without a doubt!!!

After a busy Sunday the last thing I wanted to do was have to cook, I'd heard that a local bar was starting to serve carverys on a Sunday so for a treat took the whole family. It was a lovely place, really nice inside and the staff were very friendly. We ordered our drinks and food at the bar and were given a ticket to redeem at the food station, there was a choice of 3 meats and loads of veg, potatoes, yorkies and stuffing. Oh and the nicest gravy ever! Definitely worth a visit, even the kids want to go back, and I'd made them eat their veg!
