Good food only complaint £9.45 for a portion of mac n cheese n £6 for what's on the menu as a kids meal mac n cheese with fries which is same size as the £9.45 which is steep for mac n cheese tbh

10 out of 10 food was hot, lots of it and it was amazing. will definitely order from you again

Had a wonderful afternoon in the Firbank with family. Food was great, although too much on each plate. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Live music was an unexpected bonus. Will be back soon

Así que esto podría ser un poco injusto, ya que fue pedido a Uber come y entregado a 6 millas de distancia. Anticipé que la comida estaba fría, no fue un desacuerdo al pedir. La carne estaba muy cocinada, la col era del mismo color que la carne, el puré sabía a agua, Yorkshire y relleno, meh. Gravy. Nada mal ✅ ordenó el crumble, bastante bueno! No hay nada como pedir una “cena de domingo casera”, pero cuando sacan algo que tu abuela hizo en la década de 1930, lleva a la decepción. Definitivamente no volvería.

meat was tough and chewy..roast potatoes frozen..I only put one request in and that was for them to label gravy flavour so I knew what it was only the turkey meal I oredered is no good if beef gravy due to religeon so it is important to know

Delivery Driver, lovely..Meal stone cold ,very disappointed after paying Price. Paid extra for Pigs in Blankets which were rock hard and burnt. Cauliflower Cheese awful artificial taste and very hard.

This place is amazing! I ordered from Uber Eats. I had the sausage and mash and sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely DELICIOUS 😋. I'll definitely be ordering again over the next couple days. I also love the take out boxes they use, I'm a mum to a child with needs so alot of the time, I'm unable to eat as and when I'd like to so these tubs were amazing because you can pop them in the microwave. But yeah Absolutely lush. Already looking to see what I'll get next!

Numerosas visitas aquí con grupos y también familiares. Simon y el equipo trabajan muy duro para acomodarnos y servirnos a todos juntos de manera oportuna. Comida siempre impresionante y una gran relación calidad-precio. Vivimos en las tierras medias, pero cuando se viaja cerca de Manchester siempre hacen espacio para una visita.

Just been for lunch. Absolutely appalling! Pigs in blankets were black and rock hard. Roast potatoes burnt. The young girl who served us was doing her best but had to sent most of the meals back. Bare faced cheek to serve those meals! Obviously won’t be eating there ever again. So disappointing.

Ordered online. We ordered carvery with beef, turkey and partner ordered beef and gammon. Both came missing meat, everything was freezing. The only veg you get is carrot and cabbage. You don't get any broccoli, cauliflower, parsnips, peas. Claim to be homemade but everything was fake except for maybe the cabbage but the mash was definitely not home made (smash type)and was literally rock solid that I couldn't break it up. Everything was extremely soggy especially the roast potatoes and Yorkie. Gravy also freezing. Yorkshire pudding smelt like wet dog It almost made me 🤮. Portion sizes really small. Didn't eat it, tried bits of each item and didn't taste nice at all. Didn't taste fresh or homemade. My total cost was between £30-£35 absolutely not worth it and a scam in my eyes.

I've just had a meal delivered on Uber - honestly couldn't fault it! Really good sized meal, packaged beautifully and thoughtfully - tasted fantastic!! The beef was tender , roast potatoes were pretty perfect- the whole meal was great!! Thank you so much!

Missing pigs in blankets that I paid extra for and no refund

Ordered online, waited over two hours for the food & when it arrived it was horrible. Sunday roast with two farty pieces of meat and big slabs of fat. Roast potatoes tasted like fish (not sure why). Broccoli raw and we had to microwave everything when it arrived, gravy pot had no more than 50ml in it so the meal was super dry.

Can you please tell me why I never got the £8.84 discount that your computer system said would be automatically applied at the checkout? It was not applied.

Cozy little pub by evening, absolutle party at night. Foods nothing special but it is good cost is about normal for a pub. It's a nice location and maintained well. After 11 it has a good happy hour and it's really busy. Staff are nice and I'd recommend for an after party or finishing off the night out.

Great food. Good value and generous portions. Becky provided professional & friendly service. The woman that came on shift later IMO not as welcoming - hence 4 star rating. Looking forward to going back after the refurb.

Exceptional Service with a Smile at The Firbank! I used to frequent other pubs, but after my experience at The Firbank in Wythenshawe, it’s now my go-to spot. Manager Adele is always smiling, incredibly welcoming, and truly an asset to the team. Her warm demeanor made us feel right at home. The customer service, especially from Adele and barmaid Siana, was outstanding. As the head of a company, I’ll be bringing more people here because of the excellent service, the great music, and the fantastic atmosphere. If you're looking for a place with great vibes and warm service, The Firbank is the place to be. Highly recommended!

On a very early flight from Manchester Airport, decided to get on a tram to get something to eat. Lucked on the Firbank, good food, great atmosphere, glad we found.

Genuinely one of the best roasts I've had! Arrived hot and a good portion, will definitely order again.

Best pub in the area that caters for everything. Good food, sport and great for kids too. Hadn't been in a while so went back. Good beer at great prices and beer is good. Lovely outdoor area and a bouncy castle for the kids!!!

Rude staff. Adele is the worst. Caught the name badge and she make you feel unwelcome. Everyone else is wonderful even the food but this one person is very rude

Beautiful Sunday dinner really enjoyed it l would definitely prefer more cabbage than the broccoli but that’s my personal choice . 10/10 for taste and the service

Macaroni cheese looked like macaroni cheese but didn’t taste like cheese and kids side salad full of onions

Always been happy to take the kids for some food. I’d relax more if the bouncy castle was the other side as I noticed kids running from side to side while food was coming out. However that’s just a suggestion. The kids and myself had a lovely time and good food too

¡Como prometí dije que daría mi opinión! Hoy 1 de Junio yo, mi hermana y nuestros dos hijos pequeños fuimos a la feria y decidimos venir al banco de abetos para comer algo por la tarde. Mi hermana ha estado aquí antes, pero yo no. De todos los pubs en los que he estado o trabajado, este es el mejor lugar que he experimentado hasta ahora. Había la decoración más hermosa por dentro y especialmente por fuera, hermosa. Había un pequeño parque para los niños con un castillo hinchable también... los niños eran tan felices. El personal era increíble. Natalie era tan fresco y refrescante para ser servido por. Junto con su otra colega. Siento mucho no poder recordar tu nombre pero tú también eras muy amable (tuve que pedirle a Natalie la suya unas cuantas veces una reseña 😄 pero eran tan encantadores y amables y muy buenos en sus trabajos. Por último, pero no menos importante, la calidad de la comida que tuvimos fue increíble, perfecto incluso. La presentación al gusto de todo. Le pedí al equipo que felicitara al chef por mí, le pedí dos veces que se asegurara también. La gente se queja tan rápido, pero nunca tan rápido para felicitar. ¡Espero que se entere! Gracias por un servicio agradable y hermoso. No puedo creer que Iv nunca haya estado aquí antes. Volveré cuando el sol sea amable. Awful establishment. Staff are rude, owner simon is even worse. They openly allow under age drinkers and refuse locals entry to accommodate minors.

Went for drinks and to watch the Champions League football match on Tuesday Paris vs Dortmund. We were regular customers as we usually really enjoy the atmosphere there and used to go also on Friday night. On that day, we made sure to check opening hours and stated on Tuesday opens until 22:00. We ordered 3 times gins and tonic with snack as the matches started and were planning to enjoy our time. At 21:00 (half time), the girl at the bar says to us that they close early on that day because “it was not a busy day”. We were shocked and were several times pressed to finish our drinks very quickly and leave. We never saw this happened anywhere else and found it very unprofessional and disrespectful to treat customers this way. They kicked us in the middle of the match and did not give us time at least to finish our expensive drinks in peace. Again, hours stated, “opens until 22:00” and above all we made special arrangements on that day to be able to watch football there. Very very disappointing and will not go back there again!!!

Wedding party, we allocated ourselves outside under the marquee. Weather was good for a change, which helped with the great atmosphere. The garden was big enough that other customers were able to have the outside tables. Pub is big, toilets were nice and staff were quick behind the bar. Food, however, was excellent. Great food. Delivery was roughly on time, but the driver did get a bit lost. But I soon found him.

Ordered Sunday roast dinner and it was outstanding. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful. It came on time and was excellent value for money. I have enjoyed Sunday roasts from many places before but none can compare to the one from the Firbank.

This was my first experience using The Firbank Pub& Kitchen. The food overall was very tasty, however the roast potatoes were overdone. The meat and gravy was plentiful and had taste. Overall very good and I shall be ordering again.

Nipped in for a swifty - ended up having a belting night which was heavily down to Nat & Siana. Made us feel welcome immediately. Great food. Great beer. Great atmosphere. Cannot fault it any way. Not been in for many years but we'll definitely be back. The staff are crowning jewel of this establishment. A+++++

Roast dinner came cold, overcooked roast and burnt stuffing balls. Mash really bland and tasteless Yorkshire pudding just like a cheap frozen own brand one and soggy and very watery gravy. Wouldn’t waste your money personally as really dissatisfied and disappointed.

Visited the Firbank with friends and my brother the food is very good the place is cosy and comfortable it's spotless toilets are spotless . We were given a lovely welcome would recommend this place for a relaxing meal and drink.

Ordered from ubereats, really vile food. Onion rings are store bought, nothing beer battered about them, gravy had a weird taste and smell to it, really waterer, no seasoning on vegetables or mash, fries were bland.. meat was chooey, it was a struggle to eat the beef. its not a place I would order from again or visit. Expensive for what it is too. Only plus side was the wings and burger.

Very friendly staff. Definitely a family pub. They even provide sun cream if needed. We didn't eat but what we saw looked tasty.
