The Firbank Pub & Kitchen in Manchester

Cozy little pub by evening, absolutle party at night. Foods nothing special but it is good cost is about normal for a pub. It's a nice location and maintained well. After 11 it has a good happy hour and it's really busy. Staff are nice and I'd recommend for an after party or finishing off the night out.

Great food. Good value and generous portions. Becky provided professional & friendly service. The woman that came on shift later IMO not as welcoming - hence 4 star rating. Looking forward to going back after the refurb.

Fat Wednesday is great value and I expect the same can be said for all the menu. Our waitress was professional and friendly. Top marks all round

Exceptional Service with a Smile at The Firbank! I used to frequent other pubs, but after my experience at The Firbank in Wythenshawe, it’s now my go-to spot. Manager Adele is always smiling, incredibly welcoming, and truly an asset to the team. Her warm demeanor made us feel right at home. The customer service, especially from Adele and barmaid Siana, was outstanding. As the head of a company, I’ll be bringing more people here because of the excellent service, the great music, and the fantastic atmosphere. If you're looking for a place with great vibes and warm service, The Firbank is the place to be. Highly recommended!

On a very early flight from Manchester Airport, decided to get on a tram to get something to eat. Lucked on the Firbank, good food, great atmosphere, glad we found.

Genuinely one of the best roasts I've had! Arrived hot and a good portion, will definitely order again.

Best pub in the area that caters for everything. Good food, sport and great for kids too. Hadn't been in a while so went back. Good beer at great prices and beer is good. Lovely outdoor area and a bouncy castle for the kids!!!

Rude staff. Adele is the worst. Caught the name badge and she make you feel unwelcome. Everyone else is wonderful even the food but this one person is very rude

We had 3 courses for £16 and was really great food (available every Wednesday)

Beautiful Sunday dinner really enjoyed it l would definitely prefer more cabbage than the broccoli but that’s my personal choice . 10/10 for taste and the service

Macaroni cheese looked like macaroni cheese but didn’t taste like cheese and kids side salad full of onions

Always been happy to take the kids for some food. I’d relax more if the bouncy castle was the other side as I noticed kids running from side to side while food was coming out. However that’s just a suggestion. The kids and myself had a lovely time and good food too

Went for Sunday lunch with two friends, perfect Sunday roast, fantastic helpings and great value, the staff were all amazing and very helpful, a great asset to my beloved Wythenshawe, thank you very much.

As promised I said I would give my review ! Today 1st June me , my sister and our two young children went to the fair and decided to come to the firbank for some afternoon diner . My sister has been here before but I have not. Of all the pub diners I have been to or worked at, this is the best place I have experienced yet. There was the most beautiful decor inside and especially out , beautiful. There was a little park for the kids with a bouncy castle too .. kids were so happy. The staff were amazing. Natalie was so cool and refreshing to be served by. Along with her other female colleague. So sorry I can not remember your name but you was real nice too ( I had to ask Natalie hers a few times for a review 😄 but they were so lovely and friendly and very good at their Jobs. Finally but not least the quality of the food we had was amazing, perfect even . The presentation to the taste everything. I asked the team to compliment the chef for me. , I asked twice to make sure too. People are so quick to complain but never so quick to compliment. So I hope he heard ! Thankyou for a pleasant and beautiful service. I can’t believe Iv never been here before. I shall be back when the sun is kind . We don’t get to go out so much so this was just a perfect end at a perfect place to end our super cool day 😊💜 thankyou

Gorgeous food!! we all loved all of it, ordered to a hotel so would have been ideal if sent some cutlery but luckily we managed to get some elsewhere

Awful establishment. Staff are rude, owner simon is even worse. They openly allow under age drinkers and refuse locals entry to accommodate minors.

Went for drinks and to watch the Champions League football match on Tuesday Paris vs Dortmund. We were regular customers as we usually really enjoy the atmosphere there and used to go also on Friday night. On that day, we made sure to check opening hours and stated on Tuesday opens until 22:00. We ordered 3 times gins and tonic with snack as the matches started and were planning to enjoy our time. At 21:00 (half time), the girl at the bar says to us that they close early on that day because “it was not a busy day”. We were shocked and were several times pressed to finish our drinks very quickly and leave. We never saw this happened anywhere else and found it very unprofessional and disrespectful to treat customers this way. They kicked us in the middle of the match and did not give us time at least to finish our expensive drinks in peace. Again, hours stated, “opens until 22:00” and above all we made special arrangements on that day to be able to watch football there. Very very disappointing and will not go back there again!!!

Wedding party, we allocated ourselves outside under the marquee. Weather was good for a change, which helped with the great atmosphere. The garden was big enough that other customers were able to have the outside tables. Pub is big, toilets were nice and staff were quick behind the bar. Food, however, was excellent. Great food. Delivery was roughly on time, but the driver did get a bit lost. But I soon found him.

This was my first experience using The Firbank Pub& Kitchen. The food overall was very tasty, however the roast potatoes were overdone. The meat and gravy was plentiful and had taste. Overall very good and I shall be ordering again.

Ordered Sunday roast dinner and it was outstanding. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful. It came on time and was excellent value for money. I have enjoyed Sunday roasts from many places before but none can compare to the one from the Firbank.

Nipped in for a swifty - ended up having a belting night which was heavily down to Nat & Siana. Made us feel welcome immediately. Great food. Great beer. Great atmosphere. Cannot fault it any way. Not been in for many years but we'll definitely be back. The staff are crowning jewel of this establishment. A+++++

Roast dinner came cold, overcooked roast and burnt stuffing balls. Mash really bland and tasteless Yorkshire pudding just like a cheap frozen own brand one and soggy and very watery gravy. Wouldn’t waste your money personally as really dissatisfied and disappointed.

Visited the Firbank with friends and my brother the food is very good the place is cosy and comfortable it's spotless toilets are spotless . We were given a lovely welcome would recommend this place for a relaxing meal and drink.

Really nice food for price good service

Ordered from ubereats, really vile food. Onion rings are store bought, nothing beer battered about them, gravy had a weird taste and smell to it, really waterer, no seasoning on vegetables or mash, fries were bland.. meat was chooey, it was a struggle to eat the beef. its not a place I would order from again or visit. Expensive for what it is too. Only plus side was the wings and burger.

The staff are very friendly & welcoming, great food at a great price. Especially on Wednesdays, 3 courses for £14 is a bargain and the Sunday Roast is top!

We ordered Sunday lunch for 3 to be delivered last week and it was really good! All delivered within 30 mins So this week we have reordered for 4!

It's an amazing day when I first visited, a fantastic dance floor with dj setup and having varieties of drinks, relaxing areas, 8 Ball pool play area, it's an amazing experience with firbank

We went for food after being to visit a family member in wythenshawe hospital, we are not from the area so was just a lucky pick I guess. The food was lovely and fresh and came piping hot. We will definitely return. The staff were really friendly, great pub to visit

Staying at Manchester Airport and wanted to watch Middlesbrough v Sunderland. Called the Firbank and Laura answered, assured us that she would put the match on, we turned upand the kitchen was closed but assured us we were OK to order in which was brilliant. Tried the Firbank for the first time after reading good reviews. Dissapointed with the Taco's, not as described. On a positive point, the other meal we ordered was good. In comparison with our usual place to eat out, it was overpriced and average at best. Will I return, probably not.

Went for family meal...over 20yrs since my last visit...lovely pub...all clean n tidy...food was delicious...staff were great..

We stumbled upon this place , and fancied the fat Wednesday 3 course meal for £10 . Wow wow wow was absolutely beautiful and lovely presented the nicest Chicken tenders and the lotus cheesecake was the nicest I've ever tasted , we actually felt it was worth well more than £10 I felt I had short changed the place . Staff extremely pleasant and very helpful , we don't even live anywhere near this area but will definitely be back . Credit to your staff .
